On this, The restaurants original site, Doyles on the Beach opened Australia's first seafood restaurant in 1885. We have been family owned and operated for over 5 generations.

The restaurant internationally famous and a mecca for Sydneysiders and tourists alike, offering a stunning range of fresh seafood for lunch and dinner, 7 days a week.

Family Friendly, Great for date night!, indoor & outdoor dining located right next to the beach. We cater for families, business lunches, special events, weddings & special occasions. private rooms available.

Visit our newly opened open-air Garden Bar (open daily 11.30am - late) , try one of our refreshing cocktails, a draught beer or a glass of wine before dining in the restaurant or why not order from the garden bar menu. (reservations excepted for both the restaurant & garden bar)

    Customer service team appears not interested and also a bit rude. Seafood platter is the worst we live ever had. No value for money. Very commercial service and good quality.

    My crayfish was delicious. Our large group all had amazing food, wine and cocktails. Food and drinks were all served promptly. Great night. Staff Outstanding. Thankyou so much for our unexpected gift. Love Doyles.

    What can I say? Doyles is an icon. We booked via OpenTable with five minutes notice, a few minutes waiting at an outdoor table and then we were shown upstairs where we had a fabulous meal with great view of the harbour. I mopped up every shred of my barra fillet, veges and sauce. God but it was bliss! We were hosting a visiting couple from Indiana and to say they were impressed is an understatement. Thank you, Doyles and OpenTable for taking a weight off my mind and helping to show off this wonderful city to visitors.

    Dining with friends on an outside table. Ambiance great. Fantastic location. Service excellent, staff adding to the experience, uplifting the whole atmosphere being warm and curtious throughout. Food served in good time hot and tasty. Four happy diners sure to return.

    We paid $195 for the hot and cold platter and it definitely was not good value for money - a lot of battered fish and calamare and the smoked salmon was not really that good. A measly one piece of crab, 6 pieces of scallops, 4 prawns, 3 oysters, a few pieces of mussels and lots of chips with no salad included. We could have had all of these plus much more at a much cheaper price in other establishments. We left with our appetite not fully satisfied. We used to order the hot and cold platter from Doyle’s and the dishes were much better then compared to now so we will not go back to Doyle’s in the future.
