Food was ok and service was slow. Very expensive also. We were hoping that after a year the kinks would be worked out. They are not.

Our server, Miranda was excellent. It was quiet enough to easily visit with our guests. We started at the banquet in the corner, and the cushion is so soft you sink in a hole - well known as they immediately bring out a cushion to sit on! Food was only so so. Stew was very good, Brussels sprouts inedible - no flavor and still hard. Shepard’s Pie no longer in the traditional dish but rather served as a “jacket potato” as in England - definitely a downgrade from how it used to be here in both taste and portion. Patio area looked lovely.

My order was wrong. Salad came without ingredients from the menu description. Up charge for well tequila. Too expensive for mediocre food! Will not return!

There were 5 in our group and we arrived for a 6:30 reservation on Monday. It did not seem very busy, yet the service was slow. We only spotted one waiter, who was very good and helpful, but he was stretched too thin with a large party nearby. Good was delicious; we all enjoyed our meals. Shepard pie, fish & Chips, chicken wrap, airline chicken. However it took too long; we didn't get our food until a bit after 7:30. My previous time there the service was very good, food was good and noise level was much better. Recommend not sitting near a big party and also recommend they have more wait staff.

A disaster! Going back after an impressive first time, the evening bombed! If the staff had communicated that the kitchen was understaffed, I would have been disappointed, but understandable. After 50 minutes of waiting and the constant "coming right up!", the waitress shares that gem that everyone else is waiting for their meals due to the kitchen issue. This could have been shared at the door! Shame on us, we witnessed several foursomes be turned away although there were plenty of empty tables and did not put this together. We called a similar price range restaurant locally and was seated immediately after driving 5 minutes. It seems like the pub has a management issue as there was no manager onsite checking in on the customers. Frankly, the staff seemed not to care. Again, a management issue. The food was very good during our first visit, but not that good to overlook the bad service for fear of a repeat experience. Sad.
