   Overall the service was good however the food was average I ordered Thai green chicken curry with rice the chicken consisted of an over cooked chicken breast not cut up and in the curry but a whole chicken breast with the alleged Thai green curry sauce slopped over it,considering it was our 45th Anniversary the meal and the way it was presented was disappointing we have dined there before but this time it was a fail !

   Took my Mother out for a treat on Mother's Day. From the time we got there we knew something was wrong. The place was very crowded and our table wasn't ready, despite the booking. Had to wait in a noisy bar area for around 20 minutes before we got shown to our table in the restaurant section. After over an hour wait - we finally received our meals - but they all were luke warm at best! We did get advised - when we complained with nearly an hour's wait - that there was a problem in the kitchen and they did apologise. Just felt they should have said something earlier to us. All in all it was very disappointing ! Had we not dined here before and always enjoyed our meals previous we would not be going back again. Think we'll be avoiding these special occasion day though in future! It was a shame that there was not any Carvery choices that Sunday (instead there was a special menu). I think they should have left the Carvery on - at least then we could have served ourselves - which hopefully would have been a lot faster !

   Welcome was excellent. Attention from the waiting staff excellent. Good selection of food. Very tasty . Could not fault the welcome, food ,service. Highly recommend.

   We had booked a table on hogmanay for or group of 8. On arrival we were told the chef he to leave the previous day and that no food was available !! The bar staff advised that all bookings had Been contacted to advise of this the previous day, however I hadn't received any phone call ? Due to making the booking on open table. However staff were excellent and allowed us to order a pizza takeaway and opened their conservstory to allow our party to eat in a less noisy environment. As it was hogmanay we could have eaten at another restaurant as they were all full. It was very disappointing but we made the most of a bad situation and can't thank the staff enough for their support

   Food was great. Lots of it. Could of done with more staff as only one waitress serving and a large table of 20 were in at same time as us so had to wait a while between courses to be attended to. There was a mix up with our desserts also but that was lack of communication between chef and waitress. Otherwise couldn't fault it.

   Booked a table using Open Table - advised when we arrived that they were fully booked and could only seat us in the bar area - the closed off dining area being fully occupied. This was a "Party Night" and so we were subjected to a loud Disco playing - totally ruining the evening. Art one point my companion asked the staff if the music could be turned down as the bar was virtually empty - was told no. Later the sound was turned down slightly as another customer asked the DJ directly to turn it down. Small discount offered and the staff were generally sympathetic but the evening was ruined.

   Food was very very quick coming out of the kitchen. I shall be coming again for another meal. Very much enjoyed my experience there

   our waitress was new to the post but her manner and service was very good my wife's dessert which was the cheese board shared between 2 was taken from her before she had a chance to enjoy it with the rest of her glass of wine we where in early so it was quiet but it suited us fine will be back

    Dows webpage accepted or booking even though the kitchen was closed on Mondays and had been for a month. The staff were not rude but looked at us as if we were stupid and should’ve known.
