Placed reservation but did not need one. We were only people in the place. This is a hotel restaurant.
If you like noisy, crowded or at the moment "the hip in place" this is not the spot for you!
We like it because it is not any of the above. Also, there is ample parking on the property.
The menu is not extensive, mostly salads and burgers. They do have a bar but sometimes they are out of certain selections. Service has always been friendly, but can be a bit uneven, as there is only one person on duty - at least for each of the four times we have been there.
Quality of food used is high but could be a bit on the mild side on taste. For instance, they offer Garlic Fries, but not enough garlic for our taste. There is mahi on the menu, but with very little taste - grilled with some sort of aoli etc. could help lift up the tastiness of the sandwich.
A quiet place, serving good quality food, while looking out onto palms, plants and swimming pool. What's not to like?
One of my worst dining experiences. The staff was very polite and helpful, entire restaurant needs to be refurbished and the food was nothing above average.
When I got to the restaurant, I was told by the woman at the desk, that she couldn’t find my reservation. She said this had happened before with Open Table reservations. I ordered the beef bourginoun. It was $29.00. It came with only three small pieces of beef, two of which were good, the third piece was total grizzle. None of the desserts were particularly appetizing. I would definitely not return to Diwntown.
Great Service provided by Sean, excellent burger at a great price - very good location for pre/post anything downtown with the arts - we'll be back
We were very surprised, the location has been re-done, was updated, clean and pleasing to the eye. The food was excellent and the portions are large, so worth the money. The server was friendly and made the visit very nice. Plus the view of the huge pool made a nice touch. Over-all we'd return when downtown.
The service was not great and the waiter seemed confused, but food is always good.
This is really not much of a restaurant. It's a bar with a few food items. We had two sandwiches that were pretty mediocre. The fries were quite good, though.
