We were very happy with our dinner at Downtown Dough. The vibe is very friendly and fun, great lighting and music. The food was absolutely fantastic. We had three types of pizza and they were all delicious - rivals the best pizzas in New York and Tokyo. The Caesar salad was also one of the best we’ve ever had. The staff were all friendly and attentive. We wish we could leave 6 stars.

Bread appetizer was amazing and so was the pepperoni pizza. Our waiter Jeremiah P or Jeffrey P was great and made accommodations.

This was my second time at Downtown Dough. The first time was better, this second time was a bit struggly. I had a reservation both times. First time I went on a Saturday night, this time I went on a Friday night. First time the service was great, waitress was very nice and there was no lag with bringing out food or drinks. This most recent time, it took forever for the waitress to even acknowledge us. It was the same waitress from the first time. She seemed to have an attitude. She let us know that they had run out of pizza… it wasn’t even 9pm yet. We asked if we were in fact at a pizza restaurant because it sounded odd to us that there was no more pizza. The waitress’ attitude became more apparent with this question so we just ordered other items. Both times I ordered the Caesar salad and it was great! First time I got spaghetti and meatballs, VERY GOOD, and the chicken, that was just okay, it needed seasoning. Second time I got fried calamari, too salty, and the Shrimpin Ain’t Easy, VERY GOOD! First time there was a big of a lag with our food coming out, this second time, it was a lag with our drinks coming out. We had gotten apps and first course before our drinks came to the table. Overall, the restaurant is okay/good, I really wish it was better. Consistently having pizza available would be the first step to improving things. I will be back and I hope I can update this review and rating.

Services was great. Drinks were great. Ambience was cute. The food, however, was not impressive. I may return for drinks and apps but definitely not for entrees.
