Downtown Chandler (DC) Steakhouse
Toby was absolutely wonderful!!! Thank you for great service!
Local Owners make you feel like your in their home for dinner ( well with 100 other people). Great food service and you can’t beat the value.
As a first timer food and drinks were good. Perfect weather to sit out in patio. Server took well care of us. Would highly recommend.
Our waitress was perfect unfortunately my ribs were dry and a little tough. Our drinks were pure alcohol and not consumable. The calamari was delicious and the pan fried walleye was good.
Sat outside, service was good. Food very good.
We just absolutely love dining at DC. The bartenders are so friendly and the food is fantastic. So glad that a Wisconsin restaurant owner came to Chandler so we can enjoy the same delicious food as we did in Wisconsin.
We visited the restaurant while on vacation based on recommendations from friends back home. We were not disappointed. The food was great and the people there made it even better. Chiudini at the bar was awesome. In fact I would say “magical”! Just ask for a light! The manager, Jeff, was fun, genuine, interesting and really informed about the area and the restaurant’s history. Our server Adrienna was awesome. Her recommendations were spot on and she was very attentive with a great sense of humor. They celebrated our anniversary with us like we were old friends.steaks perfectly cooked, an awesome wine selection and some entrees that will make you feel as if you are in Wisconsin instead of Phoenix! Enjoy.
The service was a little slow. The steaks were good, but the lobster mac and cheese was like soup. It is no steak 44, but for the price it is average.
Our waitress seemed to have a little attitude
Mom and I had lovely 5oz filets and Dad & my husband had the enormous and very tasty pork chops. I'm not a fan of overcooked spinach so I didn't eat it, but everything else was super! Kevin is a very kind, knowledgeable, patient server. We really enjoyed our evening...except for one minor incident.
I would love to give DC five stars on everything...but a server (not ours, a guy at the next table) elbowed me so hard in the back of my head it made my eyes water and ears ring. A solid apology would have made me laugh it off (and I did actually try to laugh it off in the moment), but his attitude was flippant. All he said was, "Oh it's tight quarters here, you're okay right?" No other mention of it. I was shocked. I mean, I'm not looking for a comped meal or anything but a nice apology for whacking me upside the head would have been nice. If you're thinking I'm being a baby...I'm not. I had a spectacular headache and still have a small lump on my head two days later. LOL Went out for a steak dinner, got beat up for it.
Nice atmosphere. Decor was great. Food was great. I enjoyed the location.
It was a little chilly which can make your food cold. I was the only thing cold at this time. Still enjoyed myself
Thanks great time
Amazing service. Full bar menus, incredible food. Steak melted in my mouth.
Excellent service and food, great date night atmosphere. I wonder why we don't come here more often.
Our go to place for a nice dinner. Great steak, great wine, wonderful service.
We ordered the special which was halibut we learned not to order seafood in a steak restaurant. Our first piece was overcooked and the replacement was better but certainly not perfect We probably will not return.
Great lamb chops. Lobster tail was ok.
Coworkers from out of town. The food was ok. Steak Ceasar Meat was very fatty. Waitress was great though
This place is outstanding! The food was amazing, our server was very personable and attentive and the ambiance is welcoming and romantic. We had an enjoyable evening and look forward to returning soon!
Best steak I've ever eaten! Would have expected to pay twice that for the quality of the food. Excited to check out the new location next year!
Third time at DC Steak House. Second anniversary dinner there. Probably the last. Food was very good as usual. Service started out good but went down hill fast as the restaurant got busy, but not real busy, and our server was running from the outside, to the back of the bar and from two big parties to another while we waited for more drinks, desert and the check. When we went to pay with a VISA gift card, and after a short wait, we were told the DC Steak House is small business and doesn't take VISA gift cards because they take to long to process. Not impressed and very disappointed. Contacted management and never heard back.
Love Dc! Mike was great!
The food was excellent, we had the Walleye and Ribeye and loved it.
We had a great 21st wedding anniversary dinner. So surprised to receive a nice dessert at the end. Great time. Will do it again. Loved the lobster Mac n cheese and the lobster mashed potatoes.
Great meal and service
Sisters-in-law birthday Food was great Service was great
Good Time - Great food and drinks!!
It was everything that we want and expect from a nice restaurants. Great service, great food and great wine. thank you!
Food was so so. Everything was great!
Service was so slow that after waiting 80 minutes we had to cancel the order to get to a show we were going to see.
Terrible. They won’t give you your Open Table points if you eat at the bar. Spent north of $225 and they give you a cancelled reservation if you don’t sit in dining room that was empty. No one in the restaurant when we arrived. Absolutely inane reasoning. If you are an Open Table user like me for nearly 10 years go elsewhere. It wasn’t good enough to overlook. Never again.
We've lived close to downtown Chandler for 6 years and finally tried this place! I don't know why we didn't come sooner. This place was outstanding! The service was amazing, the ambiance was amazing, the drinks were amazing, and the food was amazing. We can't wait to go back!
Service was slow and all the steaks were good but slightly overcooked.
Nice place that tries to be above the average, but unfortunately does not. We ordered salads and the special of the day for 2, Halibut and Prime Rib. The salads had a wedge of tomato 3 olives, a few croutons but no cheese, onions or other garnish, just the greens. I ordered the balsamic, and that is all it was, balsamic vinegar not a vinaigrette. No ingenuity or added effort to make the salad shine. My wife enjoyed the Halibut, but the Prime Rib had no flavor at all. I seemed like they did not use any spices or rubs at all so although it was a nice cut, it had little to no flavor. The Halibut special was $46 and although I did not eat or taste it, to me it was way over price. I would like to give it a second chance and I'm sure well go again: hopefully it will do better next time.
Our first time at DC's and we'll be back. Excellent! Peter was a great waiter.
Nice place for special occasion. Have had better service in the past although it wasn't terrible, it was just ok. Wish they would have had better daily specials as they have had before.
Great steaks, server was a bit pompous but otherwise good place for special occasions.
Delicious, great service. Good location. The chicken was so yummy along with the mushrooms.
This was a great accidental find. In a great area with lots going on around it to experience. Then lets get to the food. If you are in tge area it us a must to experience tbis place, and the neighboring area.
Always a fine dining experience. Best steaks in the East Valley. Great service. Our “go to “ special night out restaurant.
