                                                            3 of us ladies shared the Brussel sprouts, bang bang shrimp, shihito peppers and vodka pasta. More than full and still picked at it as we had a couple of cocktails. Everything was simply delicious!

                                                            Upon arrival it was busy and we were shown to a table on the upper level back area which was perfect for us as our two other guests arrived and we four enjoyed a fabulous meal with extremely attentive serve providers (special mention to manager, Arron, thank you to him) as each person looked after our every comfort, wine, and food choices. The dishes were explained along with suggested family style dining plates which worked out great. Food was all delicious from the Bang Bang Shrimp, the green salad, mushroom pasta that everyone raved about, and the perfect-for-4-women Chicken Piccata, hot and cheesy. All our food choices were delicious. And with a couple of light desserts to share and chianti wine through it all, we had super dinner experience. We all decided that the meal was a wonderful time for us because we are Vancouverites and long time friends visiting after a long absence. The share plates and the service staff worked magic for us to enjoy our dinner at Dovetail. As locals we look forward to coming again soon and our out-of-town friends were duly impressed. High praise from us all.

                                                            Stopped by Dovetail for happy hour and was seriously impressed. The atmosphere was relaxed but lively, and the happy hour menu had some great options. The cheeseburger, in particular, was a standout—easily one of the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor. The bang bang shrimp was another hit—crispy, just the right amount of spice, and totally addictive. Between the quality of the food and the solid happy hour pricing, Dovetail is definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to.

                                                            Volume in the dining room was far too loud to have an enjoyable date or dinner. The sound doesn’t escape out since there was 2 large parties and the low ceilings don’t help either. Luckily the servers were accommodating and able to move us to the patio, which was better but not by much. If you’re going for date night or a dinner with a small group of friends to catch up, I suggest you book patio or go before 6pm to avoid the dinner rush and chaos/loud noise level.

                                                            Came in with my father and was given 5 star service and A+ food. Special shoutout to Aaron who made our experience one of a kind, going the extra mile to keep us informed, engaged and happy! Can’t wait to take my Dad back!

                                                            Overhyped und sie haben es nicht wirklich nötig. Wir haben nach einem anderen Platz gefragt, weil wir unter der Klimaanlage platziert wurden und kalt hatten. Uns wurde lediglich angeboten, dass sie Klimaanlage heruntergeschraubt wird, was nicht passierte. Das Essen sieht auf den ersten Blick sehr gut aus, schmeckt auch so, nur musste ich mich nach dem Chicken Parm in der Nacht übergeben. Das zeigt die Qualität der Zubereitung und/oder der Zutaten.
