Our food was outstanding! I had the Black and Blue Ribeye and my husband had the Passion Fruit Cod. Both entrees were beautifully presented and just delicious! We started with the grilled Caesar salad - so good. Great wine list. I loved my Portuguese wine. Will definitely return and highly recommend Douro Steakhouse!
Food was great!
Good but pricey for area. Beautiful restaurant and friendly waitstaff.
We started with the calamari appetizer. The coating was unusually heavy, so much so that there was only a hint of squid in each bite.
The steaks arrived to the table tepidly warm at best. I ordered a truffle butter to coat the steak and because the steak was so cold, it didn’t even melt. The truffle fries were undercooked and also cold. Sadly, the vegetable medley was perhaps the best part of the meal. At least they were hot.
The meat selections are overpriced and meager in size. I would highly recommend other Portuguese restaurants for steaks done properly.
Very good. Service was good and food was excellent. Wagyu steak was superb. Will definitely go again.
Beautiful unexpected gem in Fall River. Our server Anderson was excellent and informative. We ordered the Tomahawk, and despite the $100 price tag, it was FANTASTIC! Cooked and seasoned perfectly. We also ordered the Brussels spouts and mashed potatoes. The mashed was great and the Brussels just ok. My only criticism for the meal was the bread…it was disappointing. I would definitely go back and I highly recommend!!
Great experience on our first time there. Definitely going back!
Beautiful restaurant. Food was excellent! I had the pork tenderloin. It was delicious & tender. Services was good I would recommend. Love the lights on the table I could actually see the menu.
Good atmosphere. Food was delicious. Service was good. Little confusing to park. And was expensive paid more than expected
We were one of two tables occupied this evening.
We felt completely rushed throughout the entire dining experience. There was no need since the place was so quiet. And when we requested something so simple as a glass of ice we had to ask twice.
Apps were wonderful. (Spicy cauliflower and Mozambique fries) Three of us had dinner. One steak was slightly overcooked but very tender. The pork tenderloin was great but the flavor got sickening. Aside from lukewarm potato there were no other vegetables to accompany these dishes Maybe we needed to order separately but we weren’t aware of it. My Portuguese steak was about 1/4 inch think and I ordered medium well. It was like shoe leather.
I don’t think we’ll be back for a while if ever.
Brunch was amazing!
We waited 15 mins for our reserved table while we had a drink at the bar. We were seated and immediately brought bread and water. Three other couples were seated after us. Two of them were attended to by a waitress before us. This was after waiting a half hour for a waitress. At that point, we got up and left. The hostess said she would find out what happened, but we knew it wasn't going to get any better. We felt invisible. It was rude to not have anyone even say, I'll be with you soon... nothing.
Great atmosphere. Food was excellent. My drink ( coconut margarita) was delicious!
We made a 6 o’clock reservation on a Saturday. They were out of filet already, but they had a substitute( forgot to inform it was twice the price, wasn’t on the menu) I ordered it medium rare, it came just about well done. The we’re out of some desserts already, and the service was very very slow. I won’t return nor would I recommend to anyone
Very slow service and mediocre food. Lots of potential, but they need better management and training for staff. One table left because their food took so long. Glasses on our table sat all night instead of being bussed. Won’t go back considering there are better options in the area and I don’t think I’m willing to give them a second chance.
Fantastic experience. Waitress was amazing and the food was delicious.
Our waiter Eddie was so nice and he made our first time experience enjoyable.
Steak was slightly over cooked and expected a little more sauce but overall delicious anyway.
Ribeyes were terrible especially for the price. It’s an upscale restaurant according to the menu but people are in spandex and gym shorts. Server was so sweet but definitely not used to serving at an upscale restaurant.
Food was mediocre not worth to eat there. Drinks were good
Won't be returning!
Everything was excellent, from our server Eddie to our drinks. Very good food, and atmosphere........
The mango topping on the salmon was missing; the server went to whip up a avocado chutney because they apparently was no mango, the salmon was also warm The shrimp was missing from the ravioli; they ran to the kitchen and warmed shrimp in vodka sauce.
First time there and I will Definitely return. Food was on point and drink was amazing.
Interesting concept. Limited menu. Limited parking. Savannah was a great server.
Steak was tough lobster stuffing very dry . Wife's meal was not up to expatiations
After seeing the website I was so excited to try a new place! We did go on a Monday and at 530pm we were the only guests in the restaurant until 630pm. We asked the server, Anderson, for specials and he responded they didn't have any. When I went to the Open table website, I saw that Monday and Tuesday have a 4-course meal with the wine that looks right up our alley. Wish we would have known.
Andersen was very accommodating but unfortunately, 2 out of the 4 steaks ordered were overcooked. He did try and make things right in all fairness, but the guys didn't want to wait for new steaks. He did bring out a dessert to share which was nice.
I may come back and try Tapas and oysters but won't be rushing back to the dining room to spend $350 for 4 people and overcooked steaks.
Went for the brunch. Food was delicious and our waiter Anderson was great and very friendly. We will be back again soon.
Amazing experience all around! The atmosphere, food and service from Tiana was amazing! We will absolutely be back!
Bad dining experience alert!
Don’t do it, like ever.
Made reservations for 7pm, no one came to our table for 20 minutes until I went to the hostess.
Then we placed an order for appetizer and dinner at 7:20. Calamari was terrible, like clam strip crumbs. They offered our first round of drinks at no charge. By 9pm still no dinner. We asked for our check and were told a manager would come see us. They never did. Entrees were brought out at 9:10 as we were waiting for the bill. We declined it, completely frustrated. We did give our server a very generous tip because it was clearly not his fault.
He put our food in to go containers at “no charge” LOL no kidding. My husband didn’t want to take it but I was starving so I did. Only to get home to see my petite sirloin (more like microscopic!) and Bertolli quality gnocchi.

Happy Father’s Day dinner to my husband 🙄👎🏼
Our dinner was extremely over priced particularly when the food wasn't even that good.
I got the grilled salmon which had absolutely no flavor (not even salt or pepper). My husband got surf and turf which came with no sides and also had no flavor what so ever. We had the spicy pineapple shrimp which was OK but canned pineapple was used. Very unimpressive for the price. We will not go back nor would we recommend it to anyone. Our waitress was OK, she was nice, but had no idea what the surf and turf was even though she supposedly started working there since the opening. And the food service was extremely slow, took over an hour to get our meals... And my husband's glass of wine was $30??!! I can buy a bottle at the liquor store for $48.... I was very sad this was the experience we had, I had taken my husband here for his 50th birthday. I also told thee restaurant it was my husbands birthday and they also made no attempt to get him a dessert or anything even though I spent over $300 on the meal for just the two of us!! I don't think they will be in business much longer unless they make some serious improvements.
Tried this place first time, service was good however portions were on the smaller side, food was very good despite the portions. I definitely will definitely try them again and see how the next meals size up.
I was there for Sunday brunch.
My third time enjoying brunch at Towne House and I always enjoy the same experience.
The wait staff are friendly and accomodating, and the food is always wonderful.
But everytime I walk in the host staff stare at me and my guests in abject confusion.
No greeting. No welcome . Just staring.
Like they have no idea why I’m there.
Guys, you work at a restaurant. Why do you think we are here??
Say hello and ask what I need maybe?
Service was great and attentive. Appetizers are for the table. Food was good, if a bit pricey for what you get
Great food and ambiance. Always a great time. Great for a date or girls dinner or just because.
Took 14 minutes for our server to arrive to our table which was weird considering there were only 3 other couples in the whole dining room. Drinks were done well and appetizer was fine but main course was tough. Steak gnocchi was very oily and the Queijo steak was tough and overcooked while the vegetables and mashed potatoes on the same plate were cold. Also did not have any desserts available. From the outside Townhouse looks great but I don't think I will be giving it another try for the price.
Was very pleasantly surprised and would definitely go back. Food was great as was service. It was a Sunday evening and there was only one other couple finishing up so it was like we had the entire place.
Food was excellent
Drinks were outstanding...food was perfect....place was nice fir an late afternoon dinner...I can’t wait to go back when it’s dark 😉
Thank you for your review! Hope to see you soon.
Great atmosphere, service and food to much. High end without being pretentious
We appreciate your review Steve. See you soon!
