This is absolutely the best pizza in town! 100% recommend

"The White One" is probably the best pizza I have ever tasted. If you like cheese then this is the pizza for you!!!

Food was great and the servers were very lovely, unfortunately everyone around us needed something and was waiting a while to order anything or have any real service. It wasn’t overly busy just unfortunately just poorly managed.

We arrived late-due to not having been in Colchester before. It’s in a busy area but a quite & tucked away location.

Service was amazing and staff were understanding and helpful knowing we had got lost! Food is incredible, shame we were too full for dessert.

Will be back next time ever in Colchester!

No spinach on my pizza as described, no cracked black pepper which is strange for Italian! Otherwise food is ok and service is efficient

Amazing food, great cocktails and ambiance good too. Pizza one of the best I’ve ever tasted (the Spanish) so would definitely recommend and will be returning.

My pizza very dry friends risotto very garlicky. Annoyed service charged already added to bill but we were not informed as when we paid because we were not told, one of our party paid by card & then we were unable to make the choice of how much service charge we wished to leave.

We were the only people eating in, service was terrible, food took ages to arrive and when it did my risotto was dubious to say the least and my daughters pizza lacked topping. Desert was sat on the plate for so long that I felt like getting up and helping myself after the chef kept ringing the bell... and they had the cheek to add service charge to my bill.

Excellent food, felt slightly cramped in the premises. Would definitely recommend.

Gorgeous food as always, glad to be back in our favourite Colchester restaurant following lockdown easing!

We now drive back to Colchester for it from the other side of Essex, where we moved to during the middle of lockdown.

It was the first time visiting, and it was brilliant! Food was lush

No social distancing from staff or masks being worn , waitress had limited knowledge of menu
No clear one way system and not enforced
Service charge not optional and 10% for a table of two with sub par service is high

The pizzas were tasty but apart from that it wasn’t that great. The waitress forgot to bring out our starter so I had to remind her while we were eating our main course. The beers were very expensive for a little bottle of lager too. There was plenty of staff around but we couldn’t get anyone’s attention when we wanted more drinks after our plates were taken and we were just waiting for the bill to come but it never did. So we walked to the door and got someone’s attention to pay on the way out. All in all, not that impressed.

The food and service were really good! Also cool architecture as it looks like part of the Roman wall is built into the restaurant!

I usually book Prezzo but was disappointed last time I went so decided to try somewhere new. I am so pleased I did ! There was a nice relaxing atmosphere and not too noisy so we could talk. We had to wait a little while before our order was taken but that wasn't a problem. We had a mushroom pizza and it was delicious ! Full of flavour. Also shared a goats cheese flatbread, which was massive, and a salad.
If i decide to go " Italian" for dinner again then this is where i would come. Very nice food and staff were friendly.

Pizza base could be more crispy, seemed to be a little undercooked. Some of the ingredients aren’t as good as they could be, including the mushrooms and meat selection. Could be better if comparing to an authentic pizza.

Social distancing amongst the staff in the kitchen was not great. On reflection I should have moved to the seat further away from the toilet door. The food was good and hot. Unfortunately this was not the right venue for the occasion. Not your fault. I'm sure the younger members of my family would love it.

Great place to eat, stopped in on a whim after other reservations fell through. Genuinely the best pizza I've ever had in the UK and I eat a lot of pizza... Trust me

Brilliant restaurant, lovely service and amazing food!

We was very rushed and the waitress wasn’t very polite. We was informed they did not serve hot drinks which surprised me as they are a restaurant. We was also given the bill as soon as we had finished our food.

Tasty pizza, but shame about the service. We waited 30 min for our food and drinks order to be taken and watched as a later table was served first. The food was placed in front of us, with no introduction and we were not asked if everything was ok. The bill arrived swiftly and the warm and attentive 'goodbye' was 10/10.

Great food slightly understaffed - no coffee machine for after dinner coffee. But food was beautiful and great atmosphere
