The most insanely delicious food! Loved everything! All communal tables, unless you have a large enough party to fill it. Great accommodating gluten free
EXCELLENT food, literally the best pizza I’ve had in my whole life. We cannot wait to come back.
Our local favorite. Always delicious & healthy. Friendly staff!
Very excited to see this offering in LA! The pizza was tasty and I will definitely go back and try more items. There seemed to be only one real salad and it was heavy in vinegar so I wouldn’t order again. Cacio Pepe is my favorite pasta and I wasn’t a fan of the noodle they used here. And, there are several other items on the menu I want to try. They were out of most of their reds by the glass which was a bummer but I trust they are working out the kinks. Plant based eating is still so new. I applaud them for being a front runner in providing this culinary option. The restaurant business is not an easy one especially in an over priced city like Los Angeles. I definitely recommend this spot!
Food was very good except the olive-oil cake dessert which was terrible.
Service very good.
The reason it didn't get five stars was the dessert and the noise level which made it much harder to enjoy the meal! I could only recommend it for take-out because of that.
Brought my friend to a late lunch to celebrate his birthday. He is vegetarian but I am a meat eater. We ordered the pizza margarita and The Pepe Cacio. Both were delicious. I especially like the pizza. The sauce in crust were so good and I didn’t miss mozzarella or any of the animal made cheeses. I want to go back and try the eggplant Parmesan and different pizza.
The food is amazing. Vegan or not this is an awesome Italian meal. Service leaves a lot to be desired. Waiters are often absent and can be a bit “Venice” rude. Love the spot though.
This place is absolutely amazing! Everything we ate was delicious and they play great music.
Had a great time, pizza is amazing. Good wine. Tanner was great,
We had a wonderful first visit to Double Zero while in town for a quick weekend-further evidence that all Matthew Kenney concepts are gold! We stopped in for a late lunch and were amazed! Best pizza. The crust is truly perfection… Great chew and depth of flavor. We tried both the pepperoni pizza and the truffle pizza. Cannot wait to go back again the next time we’re in town to try other things! Very nice wine list as well… Just go, you won’t be disappointed.
Amazing food ; my favorite the potato pizza ; and the. Baked vegan meatballs ; service was very professional; to bad it doesn’t have a liquor license for cocktails.
Great plant based
Amazing gluten-free crust! Toppings incredibly delicious. Would eat here again for sure.
WOW! The menu and food are incredible. Been here twice in two weeks and everything I’ve ordered has been outstanding!
Our waitress was danielle who made sure we were well taken care of. Mose was amazing as well and Marissa
Way too loud and I didn’t like the tightness of the community tables
Amazing plant based restaurant .Exceptional food and wonderful atmosphere.
The best fine dining yet casual plant based pizza and vegan pasta. Glad Double Zero has landed in Los Angeles.
Delicious! Everything is amazing here. Great for vegans and non-vegans alike.
A friend and I went for a dinner on a Saturday night and it was poppin. Extremely busy. The food was amazing! Well worth it.
It’s a pretty nice place, I would recommend it.
Not attentive to gluten free needs of the table and lack of clearing plates to make experience better as more food was brought out.
Matthew Kenney does not disappoint. Too much of eating here in the US is about labels, politics, self-worth and belonging. Good food is good food. I just see Kenney's food as GREAT food. That it ticks off many other current trendy boxes in the food industry is not of interest or concern to me. I'd eat his food anywhere in the world any time.
Had the cauliflower app and the truffle pizza.
No issue with portion size, this was plenty for two people.
The cashew cream as a substitute for traditional pizza sauce was quite delicious and the app was spot-on as well.
We were there fairly early on a Saturday but the place was really bustling by the time we left.
Overall, an enjoyable and healthy dinner.
Great food! Good service! Very loud 😞
Need hooks to hang a purse under the communal table. No place to hang a purse even on the chair.
Great to have Tanner advise on our wine choice! Truffle and a margarita pizza, plus the chopped salad yummmm
Best Pizza in town!! one of the best ever, I found my place in Venice
I’ve been meaning to try this restaurant for sometime on a friend’s recommendation but didn’t really know what to expect... What a wonderful surprise! The pizzas were FANTASTIC and the “meatball” appetizer made me seriously consider going Vegan. DELICIOUS! The service was wonderful and the interior is modern & very well done! Can’t wait to introduce my friends to Double Zero!
The food was fantastic as usual.
I'm never disappointed. The best plant based restaurant in our area.
Love Plant food & Wine too.
Matthew Kinney is a genius.
A fan of Matthew Kenney. The food and the atmosphere was perfect.
Authentic Italian flavors and textures achieved with all plant based foods. Meraviglioso!
Food was quite good but not amazing, ambiance was nice, and price was way too high for what we got. $260 for 4 people sharing 2 appetizers, 1 entree, 3 pizzas, 2 desserts and 5 glasses of wine. Would not go back due to price.
Great vegan pizza in a small pizza bar nestled in one of the streets of Venice.
The pizza was fantastic! Really amazing...unfortunately, the cacio e pepe was really dry. It was supposed to have cashew creams, but there was no sauce as. It made the fresh, handmade pasta just not what it could have been. We didn’t enjoy the community table setup. It was just too tight. Everything was fine, but I am not sure we will go back.
I love this restaurant! The meatballs & the truffle pizza are my favorites! Delicious & layers of flavors! The noise is the only thing that I can slightly kvetch about! Other than that, Encore!
Our 2nd visit and the food gets better and better. Although small the staff is friendly and efficient and the vibe is trendy but not precious. Awesome plant based food for when you want more than burgers or burritos.
Opening in the remodeled space of Cent'anni, we were curious of Double Zero since it had received considerable;e hype, perhaps due to its rarified status as a vegan Italian restaurant. Although the room was attractive, the food was at best mediocre and the service a supercilious and even condescending. Nothing on the menu stood out as being particularly well prepared or tasty. The "truffle pizza" which could have gained excellent flavor from properly prepared wild mushrooms or dare I sat actual truffles was tasteless and bland. The only standout was the pizza bread at $5. If you are a Vegan, there are plenty of restaurants in the LA area that know how to prepare properly spiced and sourced palate pleasing dishes. At Double Zero, I felt that I was being squeezed for my money by the servers constantly pushing drinks, charging $9 for a bottle of sparkling water, and passing off mass-produced food as something else. Although "Double Zero" is a reference to the finely milled flour used in Italy, it could easily serve as a restaurant rating.
Fortunately, this is a free country and LA is richly endowed with fine eateries.
The potato pizza was amazing! The cacio e pepe was also great, small yet perfect size portion. The chop salad was also great, bright acidity that paired perfectly with our wine selections!
Pizza was fantastic, pasta was fantastic and the gelato was to die for. Definitely recommend! We had the 'pepperoni' pizza which we loved, the pasta bolognese which was also delicious, the meatballs which were not our favorite (they fell apart and became mush), the hazelnut gelato which was divine and the peach gelato which was amazing. Our server was fantastic and the place got a little loud the busier it got. Definitely recommend overall!
Everyone at Double Zero was wonderful! From Ben the host to Hannah, our server, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. They have amazing food and a very fun and interesting wine list.
