Food was great! Will definitely be back
Such a great restaurant!!! The food is amazing and we really enjoyed it!!!
Very disappointing. We really hoped for a delicious vegan pizza . Nothing about it was good.
I came here with my sister on Easter 2021. Double Zero has a beautiful ambiance to go along with the delicious food. It is so refreshing to go to a fully plant based restaurant that has a gourmet feel and taste. The food had so much flavor. We have already recommended this restaurant to all of our friends and said they must go! We will be back and we can't wait to try out their sister restaurant next door- Bar Verde which is plant based Mexican food.
Came here for Easter brunch. The food was delicious and the staff were pleasant and accommodating. Excellent food and was able to dine outside. Will come here again!
Very good food, Laura was a great hostess
Absolutely obsessed. Have been wanting to go here for over a year and the experience did not disappoint. Everything was so clean and the staff went above & beyond to make the experience relaxed and enjoyable. Artichoke pizza was 10/10 and the cheesecake was the chef's kiss cherry on top of a perfect dinner.
Wonderful service and food! Very warm under the heat lamps.
So delicious!!! Very accomodating
Sooo yummy. 3 vegans and 1 gluten free diner were thrilled to eat yummy tasting dishes we had never had before. It’s a thrill to order unfamiliar things, especially when they turn out to be delicious. Everything was very good.
The folks working made our first time eating at a restaurant in almost a year really nice too. They were calm and in good moods. When you haven’t been in that much close proximity with others in ages, other people’s moods really matter. We were there for my son’s 17th bday and it was perfect.
Great food. Hands down best Italian vegan I’ve ever had. Some of the pizza in NYC period.
Delicious! Our favorite vegan Italian restaurant!
Food and service was great!
Great server and not crowded indoors on Valentine’s Day! Always love their vegan food
If you asked for my rating, I'd say DOUBLE ZERO. The Caesar Salad was pretty good. The pizzas were very bad. The crust was undercooked, I could see that parts of the exterior crust were raw inside, and the thin crust under the toppings was floppy and had no real color underneath. The tomato sauce was fine, but the nut cheese had no flavor. The "pepperoni" was some sort of shredded flakes that were the texture of fish food and could've fit inside a thimble. They had a faint flavor of fennel, but nothing else. The other pizza was cauliflower and shitake "bacon" and we requested rice "cheese". The rice cheese had the texture of bechamel, and slid off the floppy pizza every time you lifted the slice. There was probably about 1 floret's worth of cauliflower on there, and about 2 sliced shitakes. It was soaking in so much liquid smoke that it burned my throat. The dough on this one was raw too. We had ordered a slice of cheesecake, which came frozen and had some sort of "seasonal" fruit "compote" on it that was more like a coulis around the plate. There were blueberries there, and sliced strawberries on top. We eat took our first bite of the cheesecake with a strawberry and each of us could taste raw garlic, like they didn't clean the knife they used to slice the strawberries. We complained to the waiter and she removed this from our bill. The service was magoo, there was one fellow there who spoke in an elaborate way in a very low tone, making him hard to understand, and another young woman who seemed adequate enough, but it was hard to get their attention, and the restaurant, which was not full, was capped anyhow to only 18 diners. We asked for the cheesecake twice, and the bill three times. The food also took a very long time, I assume because there were a lot of takeout orders, but honestly, pizza takes less than 10 minutes to cook. This place was pretentious, expensive, and hard to digest, like eating rocks that wouldn't go down.
Great service amazing food and very safe during covid!
Great food (especially liked the truffle pizza), good service, outdoor dining available
Very nice atmosphere and attentive service, they have heating lamps and accommodated seats for the rainy weather. The food was outstanding! An overall great dining experience.
food was terrible and overpriced, we ordered 3 different types of pizzas and for some reason the sauce was so sweet that is wasnt bearable and the cheese barely had any taste. we made a reservation and were told there was no space until 45 min later even though their open table slots were available for the next 2 hrs in increments of 15min. there was 1 waitress who had to handle all of this which is frustrating because she doesnt deserve to have to deal with all that negativity for just doing her job. poorly managed imo and the $100 for bad pizza..just no
Always amazing paper thin crust brick oven pizza (you won't know it's vegan ;)
Insanely good vegan pizza. This place keeps getting better and the service is top notch! Great wine, good heated outdoor seating. Keep coming back.
Most incredible vegan meal I have ever had!!
It was lovely!
Anton was a wonderful server, and we were very glad to be seated and safely distanced indoors. Well done!
We got the antipasto and the truffle pizza. Everything was overall fine. I'd recommend if you have dietary restrictions.
currently writing a review during the pandemic. It was outdoor seating only. I felt like we were spaced far enough apart, but due to the location there were just TONS of people on the sidewalk etc. Inside the outdoor seating area I felt fine. the drinks were good, the service was good and the food was good. We got 2 pizzas (gluten fre) and the meatballs. Both were delicious.
The Caesar salad is fantastic!!
Crowded outdoor dining. Tables were closer than 6 feet. Lots of poor people walking buy asking for money. Not even close to real pizza. Unless you have to eat this, don't bother.
What a wonderful place for a treat! I love Double Zero. This most recent was probably my 20th time dining there. I haven’t been since May, when I picked up (outdoor dining hadn’t quite taken off yet in NYC). I love it so much. 00 is a little expensive, and they have recently decreased the portion size of some entrees slightly- I noticed that the salad had become smaller, although the price didn’t change. I assume that this reduction had to do with managing an NYC restaurant business post-Covid. The employees were incredibly respectful of the Covid guidelines. My Blood Orange martini was delicious, as were the meatballs and pizza. The service was phenomenal as always. I never leave Double Zero regretting my dinner. Can not recommend enough! This is one of the few places in NYC I will go out of my New Jersey way for.
Love this spot! Fantastic thin crust pizza. Even my not vegan friends love it!
Very good outdoor dining experience and pizzas were great too
Exceptional food and an exceptional experience!! Wow. I’ve been going here for years and this most recent trip was probably the best ever.
I’ve been to this restaurant before and the food is really good. I was very disappointed though, I looked at the menu prior to coming and saw a brunch menu, but when we got there we asked for brunch and he said brunch is not being served, only dinner.
Great vegan Italian food, great drinks, great service! If you’re vegan/plant based this restaurant is a must try, you won’t be disappointed!
Waiter (Ethan) was excellent. Food was even better, and I’m not even vegan. Really impressed all around. Highly recommend.
It was seriously so so good. We got the gluten free, obviously vegan Truffle Cashew Cream pizza and it was fire. Came out so fast and it was so delicious I ate the whole thing. You couldn’t tell that it was any different than normal non vegan pizza. We also got the “meatballs” but they fell apart extremely easily but I guess that’s good because you know that there’s no fillers in them to keep it together. They were delicious otherwise. 12/10. Highly recommend!
Our server Ryan was amazing! Delicious food and so nice to sit on the patio.
Great menu and they accommodated our group of 8! We were so pleased with the food that we came back after our show for dessert and drinks! Wish we lived closer so we could be regulars 😀
Food was delicious. There was an error with our bill, but our waiter quickly corrected it.
Great food, drinks, service, atmosphere, and AMAZING gluten-free pizza!
