   Such a great vibe. Was able to sit down right on time with our reservation. Plenty of space, the seats are picnic table style so I could see it being tough when it’s crowded to feel private. Food was delicious, I’m not vegan and would bring non vegan friends. wine was tasty. The place is pretty small so you’re able to grab the staff’s attention easily when needed. Will definitely be back!

   Arrived at Double Zero for my reservation only to find that they wouldn't seat us because the restaurant was closing in 15 minutes. Based on other reviews, seems like a lot of other diners have had this issue. Whoever owns this place doesn't seem to put much effort into managing it well.

   The food was very good. The service was okay. Our waitress was nice however, she never checked to see if we wanted another drink nor did she ask us if we were interested in dessert. She brought us the check as soon as we were done eating.

   I was able to make a reservation on Open Table, park at the Prudential Center Garage $22, walk four blocks in the rain just to get to Double Zero and they were CLOSED !! Funny how if you guys think I missed my reservation you are all over me about not missing scheduled reservations , even though I’ve never missed one , it’s usually the restaurant failing to do their part on the reservation , look at my history with you , I use open table all the time and I don’t miss my reservations . Total fail on YOUR part on this. How do I get my $22 back for parking and wasting my time ?

   One dirty glass? No problem. Two dirty glasses? C’mon. Two dirty glasses and a filthy water bottle? Hello, health inspector? I would not go again. Fix your dishwasher - and the people who check that your dishes are clean! Ewwwww.

   What a great find! My oldest two children are vegan and foodies which can be a tough combination when trying to eat out. We were very happy to find Double Zero and the food more than met our expectations. We tried two of the pizzas and will be back to try other dishes on the menu. Thank you!

   The service was really terrible. No one gave me a menu, so it seemed like there should be a QR code somewhere around so I can find the menu myself, but there wasn’t. I tried asking one of the waiters for a menu, but he had AirPods in and didn’t seem to hear me. After I googled the menu someone eventually came by and told me my food would be coming, but I hadn’t yet ordered. So at least at this point I was able to place my order. The bolognese came out first and was ok. It tasted good but not exceptional. I ordered a pepperoni pizza that took a while to come out and when the waiter finally brought it, it was a margarita pizza. I didn’t say anything because it had been so long and I was really hungry. The pizza was actually excellent and I was happy with it, even if I didn’t order it. The restaurant itself was really bright and more like a corner pizza shop in New York than a sit down restaurant. The bathroom garbage was overflowing with trash so it was all over the floor, and it’s a really tiny bathroom. I’ve been to some of the other Matthew Kenney restaurants in LA, where I live, and they were always great. This was a big disappointment.

   I have been to Double Zero before and had a fantastic meal but sadly was left disappointed this time. We ordered two items off their relatively small menu which they were out of and then they oddly hadn't chilled the prosecco I ordered. Additionally, I was not wowed by the margarita pizza, which we had as an alternative to our original choice. Some of the other pizzas are much better. I still love the concept and their pizzas are very good generally, but the combination of a meh pizza, them being out of stock of 2 items and room temperature prosecco was disappointing. Hopefully it was an anomoly.

    Very disappointed with our 1year Anniversary Dinner experience. I picked this place for our special occasion based on the reviews I read but could not believe the how further from its reputation it was. I was embarrassed to had chosen to bring my wife there. There was 1 team member who was working very hard and keeping things together but she left mid service and things went downhill from there. I do not recommend and would not return.

    Casual vegan restaurant on Newbury Street in Boston. The Pizza’s and salad were great. We ordered the pasta bolognese and it came out lukewarm. Overall enjoyed our experience.

    I was very disappointed by everything! The service was terrible, the kitchen did not follow the instructions on the ticket. The calzone was burnt and inedible, and the pizza had ingredients that were requested not to be on it. We waited so long for our food that I didn't have the patience to send it back and reorder. Even if the food was perfect it is way overpriced. I have eaten at Matthew Kenny restaurants before, this was a huge disappointment, I wont to dine there again

    I wish could say we had experienced it. We made a reservation over a month in advance through Open Table. We confirmed the reservation per usual. But when we arrived, the restaurant was closed. By that time, it was too late to find another reservation so we ate pop corn from Trader Joe’s on our final night of vacation. Not sure if this was an Open Table or restaurant snafu. But my advice is to call the restaurant and make sure you’re set before having the disappointing last night of vacation that we did. 😠

    The food was very good. The service was a mess. They may have been understaffed, but the waiter forgot his notepad, very flighty, did not come to check up, did not bring any napkins or silverware; we got our drinks after we finished our dinner- it was just a beer and a glass of wine, nothing crazy. They did not have the beer I requested, so they brought out something else and the waiter said he wouldn't charge me. He did charge me. The waiter seemed like a nice person, but kind of a mess. Food, again, was delicious.

    We’ve been to double zero about 5 times in the last year and always have loved it - we order to go a lot too. Unfortunately this most recent time was our worst service experience. It took us asking multiple times over 25 minutes to even get water at the table, and had to go ask for menus, small plates, and water refills later. The food was fine- the tiramisu doesn’t even have coffee in it and doesn’t taste authentic. I am vegan and love supporting vegan restaurants, and their pizza is delicious but they have some work to do!

    In NYC there are many high end vegan restaurants that offer incredible food and ambiance like ABC-V and 11 Madison. Hard to find in Boston. The food was incredible at Double Zero But the atmosphere is, well, non-existent. It feels a bit more like a pizza joint - maybe like Beyond Sushi - and not like a fine dining experience. I guess my expectations were just off. Felt a bit out of place being all dressed up. But food is fantastic.

    I unfortunately never got to eat at the restaurant. We sat down for our reservation at 8pm and never got served. After 25 minutes I walked towards the kitchen and asked if I could place an order directly at kitchen or if a server was available. The kitchen staff flagged down the server who told me she would be right over. 20 minutes later we got up and left for another restaurant. No service at all after 45 minutes.

    Overall, really love being able to have gourmet vegan pizza at Double Zero. I like the NYC location better, though. It has better ambience with more romantic, dim lighting. The lighting here was too harsh, almost like a fast food restaurant, rather than a unique and sophisticated dining experience. In addition, my Prosecco was served warm, and we had to ask for salt/pepper/crushed pepper to better season the pizza. Overall, I would recommend, but it was pricey given the ambience and service.

    The restaurant was extremely dirty. We couldn’t even get water because “there were no clean cups.” Tables we’re all covered with dirty dishes from previous guests. The staff looked like they just rolled out of bed with an attitude to match. Their food is good but everything else is lack luster.

    I will admit that I am not vegan and I made the reservation because my friend who I went with is. When I went this past weekend the weather was around 90 degrees outside and when I walked into the restaurant, it was somehow hotter inside than outside. The AC did not appear to be working. When we went to order, it seemed like every drink was unavailable. I ordered a white wine spritz which was basically ice and juice, if I didnt know what I was ordering I would have been surprised if you told me their was alcohol in it. The food was good, its not what I would normally order, but I would have it again. The service seemed casual and not in the best way. Overall, I dont think I would come back. I wanted to be more impressed.

    Food was delicious, staff was super kind and helpful. Cacio e pepe was delicious, probably my favorite. I didn't love the Pesto Pizza but my friend said it was delicious so it's by person I suppose. I come everytime I'm in Boston or Providence!

    My girlfriend and I absolutely love Double Zero. Our last visit was like we had the whole place to ourselves because a few people sat outside. This was during summer, so it worked out well for us. Our servers were kind and fun to interact with, they treated us so well. The Pepe E Cacio is our absolute favorite and get it every time. The arugula pizza was also really good. At their recommendation, we also tried their non-meat meatballs and they were incredible! We haven't been this winter yet, but one thing I will say is, if it is a busy night, the seating can be very tight. I wish it were a bigger restaurant overall. Highly recommend - we're big fans.
