The restaurant was temporarily closed but there was no sign in the window and Google said they were open. It would have been nice if the restaurant could have canceled my reservation so I could find another vegan restaurant to visit instead.

Restaurant posts false hours. No notification of closure anywhere physically or digitally. Was really excited to check this place out. Hopefully in the future this establishment communicates its modifications to its hours of operation.

We made reservations at Double Zero, because we love the food, and generally find the service excellent. However, we had made reservations on Mother’s Day, and even change them once to a later time. When we got to the restaurant, we found it closed with no sign of why. Given that it was Mother’s Day. It was very difficult to find alternative arrangements so this was doubly inconvenient. The restaurant still showed as available in OpenTable and on the website. We understand that things happen, but would’ve appreciated notification well in advance of driving 40 miles to a closed restaurant.

We were a party of 5. Two people got their meals first, then 20 - 25 minutes later the next two go their meals, then 20 - 25 minutes later late the last person got her food, after everyone else was done. We were offered no apologies, no one came to talk to us about it. Do not plan to go back again which is a shame as the food was good.

Had high hopes for our visit tonight but was completely unimpressed. First…service was disappointing. When we arrived we were seated at a very cold and drafty spot and asked to be moved. This seemed to be an inconvenience to the host and server working. Then, when we ordered one small plate and two pizzas, our server said, “Is that all?” In a way that sounded very passive aggressive. He had an obvious attitude that wasn’t appreciated. The buffalo cauliflower came to our table and I had to laugh at how small it was for $16. There were about 4 pieces of cauliflower. We sent it back and I told the server that the price was absurd. A cook or chef came out and said he would add to the portion which was very nice. It was tasty but the coating was soggy and not at all crispy. Next, the pizza. While the portions were quite generous for the price (again, $16…same price as four pieces of cauliflower), we had the potato and pesto. The potato pizza was lacking in salt and really any other flavor. We took 1/2 of it home to reheat (and season) for lunch tomorrow. The pesto pizza was the exact opposite…it was piled with arugula, zucchini, and a thick layer of pesto. The flavor was overwhelming and very bright. This was fine for the first few bites, but it became way too much. It was a very odd and disappointing experience and we will not be back.

Awesome vegan choices. First time to the restaurant. Eggplant Parmesan is the ultimate favorite so crispy and tasty. Tried others like eggplant calzone potato pizza artichoke pizza and their pasta bolognese is amazing. Definitely will be coming back when in the area. Worth it every penny.

Overall this is a nice plant-based restaurant, more casual than the partner restaurant it’s connected to. We had the Caesar salad which was very good, the meatball calzone who’s dough was excellent but filling lacked the flavor I expected, and we tried the tiramisu for dessert. Unfortunately the tiramisu was disappointing, more of a chocolate cake and pudding with cream around it. I would definitely try this restaurant again and see how the other items on the menu fair. Our waiter Isaac was fantastic!

Came here for a first date and it went very well. It was kind of busy, we got there a little before our 8pm reservation and had no problem being seated. Pricing was reasonable, and the truffle pizza is the best thing in the menu. Cocktails were strong(which is fine) and very flavorful. Throughly enjoyed my first visit.

The sunflower Cesar was the highlight though salty. My wife had the pesto pizza which was tasty except for the raw zucchini slices. I had the pepperoni, tasty but a little too sweet and the texture of the pepperoni crumbs was crackly. My daughter had the meatball calzone which I didn’t get, chunks of beans similar to refried? The crusts were solid but I recommend Paulie Gees in Hamden for pizza, price, and vibe.

We really enjoyed this restaurant. The food was exceptional. We tried the eggplant parm and Pasta Bolognese. They were both fantastic. I was not impressed with my cocktail, and they were out of my first choice. The staff was lovely-but not very attentive-we waited a long time for our bill.

Food was delicious. The tiramisu was why I picked this place and it didn’t disappoint. My only issue is there’s no real separation from the front door and the dining room, just a slatted wall, so every time the door opened I got hit with freezing cold air. Make sure to avoid tables by the door.

Double Zero was great! Starting with our server, Ivan and ending with our tiramisu, this was a great meal. There was 4 of us and each one of us couldn’t stop raving about the taste and flavors of our pizzas. You do not have to be vegan to enjoy, everyone will love it.

We were looking for a vegetarian restaurant. There were so many choices. If I lived in Baltimore, I would go there weekly to check it all out. Our waiter was very energetic, informative added to the delight of this restaurant.

Eating vegan can be delicious! Double Zero does not disappoint. The artichoke pizza was so good as was the pizzaola which is a combination of chick peas and cauliflower in a savory tomatoey sauce. The cocktails are interesting, and the draft rose was very good. The “chocolate” dessert ended our meal perfectly. We cannot say enough about our waiter Isaac. He was knowledgeable about the menu, attentive to our requests and just a delight to deal with.

I had a great experience at Double Zero after the Baltimore Running Festival. It's a beautiful environment and the service and food were amazing. Everyone in my party loved it. I requested low salt and oil and they were prepared ahead of time with a list of what was available. I was impressed that they were ready for me. The server (I believe his name was Ivan) was extremely attentive & personable. I'm really looking forward to visiting again soon.

This all-vegan restaurant was a pleasant surprise. We shared a pizza which was outstanding. Non-vegans would never know that it was non dairy. We also shared a pasta dish, meatballs, and dessert. In fact, we had 2 desserts. Everything we ate was outstanding. I can't wait to eat here again. The other side of the restaurant is also all-vegan with a different menu. We are looking forward to trying that menu as well. If we could give it 20 stars, we would.

A bit disappointed given the price point. The margarita pizza and eggplant calzone were delicious. The pepperoni pizza uses crumble for the pepperoni flavor that was like small pebbles, thought they would crack a tooth. Chopped salad had large sprigs of rosemary tossed in that were like chewing pine needles. Server never removed empty plates. This place needs to up their game.

Just to be transparent: there were three adults and one 2 year old. Service was 50/50 we didn’t intended to order drinks but was convinced by the server; but then the drinks never came. 👍🏾The flavor of the pizza dough was tasty, but some parts were under cooked probably due to the quantity of toppings. I’ll take. 🫱🏾‍🫲🏽The cauliflower dish was nice but the “crunchy” chickpeas were more chewy then crisp. Our two year old ate the entire cauliflower on her own, so I’ll call that a tie. 👎🏾The “meatball” Stromboli was under cooked and the meatball wasn’t identifiable in side… call that a pass. 🫱🏾‍🫲🏽The pepperoni pizza had nice flavor but the “pepperoni” was more of a dust/flake. If we were informed of it being that way instead of similar to other worked gluten sausage(our assumption) it would of been fine. We’ll give it another try. Finally: Twas some good flavors but some execution errors. Would try again. Random…make sure you know it’s a vegan place. If you walk in randomly you wouldn’t know the difference unless you did some research. Yeah it seems redundant, but it wasn’t indicated on the menu that the entire menu is vegan.

The pizza was excellent and the staff extremely friendly. The ambiance was upscale and relaxing. The only issue was that we waited an hour for our food while other people who came in after us were getting served. The restaurant needs to improve on timing orders and preparing take out orders so that diners are not waiting for long periods. And the restaurant was by no means full. Would definitely return, though.

This is a nice vegan restaurant. I took my co-worker who is vegan. I am not. For someone who is considering to become vegan one day the menu has good healthy options for everyone. Seasoning could be a little more punchy, but it's not bland or bad at all. You should enjoy.
