I ordered the Pork Chop Milanese. It was overcooked and dry. Over $30 for a pork chop with nothing included but some arugula. My friend ordered the Halibut. Fish was dry and overcooked as well. We did enjoy the cauliflower appetizer. It was tasty. Service was okay but it took a while to get waited on initially.
Outstanding service. Food was fabulous. Very attentive staff.
I love the atmosphere at Double Zero, and the restaurant knows how to handle large parties! The staff is knowledgeable and kind and the food is delicious.
We had the most wonderful meal. One of the bests in Atlanta. Our waiter, Rob was fantastic.
Unique menu and an amazingly friendly and helpful wait staff. Made our birthday evening special.
We really like the food here. Especially the arancini and the pastas. Fresh and clean taste (not the general restaurantfood taste). Like this location better than previously on Roswell Rd. Personnel is very friendly (our waiter Kelley). Anh is very nice and remembered I took the bar exam months ago, and gave us complementary food and drinks to celebrate passing the bar! Was not necessary but totally appreciated. We will be back.
Enjoyed an enjoyable Saturday dinner with friends. Wasn’t as crowded as usual, which I guess could be atributed to Labor Day weekend. Arancini and meatballs were good and were a nice variation on ones tried previously due to seasonal ingredients. Pizza and pasta dishes for mains were perfectly sized and very tasty. Will continue to be a go to place for local Italian.
Excellent! The hostess was friendly, the service outstanding, and food did not disappoint. Maya knows her wine, asks all the right questions, and made our first visit fantastic. We will be back!
Arancini app, cauliflower app, meatball & fungi pizza and pasta special....all delicious.
This is the second time I've eaten at Double Zero. It's just so-so. Not bad, but not great. This time I ordered the "tomato" pizza and it was so flavorless. Maybe it just needed salt? Maybe garlic? It was just totally lackluster and for $18, it's just not worth it.
We really enjoyed our meal at Double Zero and cocktails were perfect! Service was spectacular, particularly our server Kelly. We sat on their patio, as the inside felt very dark, which was nice due to the weather but would suggest they get larger tables to fit more than two comfortably.
Not Italian food, but that is not the problem. The problem is that the food doesn’t taste good. Truly shocking after years of wonderful experiences at Iberian Pig and Cooks & Soldiers.
Service and food was outstanding! The roasted fish and vegetable dish is extraordinary! Awesome kale salad and homemade gelato. Yum..Sommelier recommended an incredible Rose that complemented the meal.
Really great service, everyone was friendly. Pizzas were a bit of a let down, mine tasted as if it was entirely unsalted. The pizza I chose had delicious fresh arugula on top, which I've LOVED at Verasano's where it comes tossed in a sprtiz of lemon, but didn't work well dry on the pizza here. Honestly most of the things we tried lacked complex flavors. The chicken meatballs were bland, the three pizzas we tried at our table seemed bland and lacked texture. The pork pasta was delicious, kinda wish the presentation was a little prettier but it was the best thing we tried. The flash fried cauliflower was good too. The Dew Drop cocktail came completely not mixed so the first sip was straight gin, after a thorough stir it was good.
Honestly. I'm not sure how new Double Zero is, it feels like a restaurant trying to get to the next level that just hasn't ironed out their system/menu yet. I'd probably try it again in a while to see if they got it worked out.
Again, the service was excellent, we had several people checking in on us even tho it was fairly busy and all of them were very professional and friendly.
Always good. Always consistent.
We love Double Zero. The food is always great and the staff are awesome!
First visit to Double Zero in this location having gone to their previous location on Roswell Rd. a few times. My guest and I shared the meatball appetizer and we both loved it. Then we split the Margherita pizza. Very good. Waitstaff was friendly and attentive. Timing of food was a little off. I assume both the app and pizza orders went in at the same time, because the pizza came out first, followed quickly by the meatballs. Would have preferred that the firing of the pizza happened after the app hit the table. But otherwise, all good. We were there for an early dinner (5:45 pm or so) and so it was not crowded and not noisy. The décor is mostly hard surfaces, so I suspect that when the restaurant is full it would be loud.
This is one of the best Italian spots in Atlanta. All the other Castelluci places get the hype, but this is better than the others. Always great specials and service in a convenient location. Mixed emotions on whether I share how great this place is versus keeping it a secret so I can get a table.
Innovative bar and kitchen. Truly creative and tasty. We will be back.
We went there to celebrate a special occasion.
All the staff went out of their way to help us accomplish this.
The food was excellent, and the attentive service impeccable.
The trial Prix fixed menu was good value, and the wine pairings
were just right.
We had a great wait staff team. They were unruffled by a special request (or 3). The only disappointing thing was that my friend was supposed to have buffalo mozzarella on her pasta dish. They forgot which is no big deal, but when we told the senior of the server pair, she grated a tiny bit of Parmesan over the pasta. Overall, everything was great. The pizza dough was amazing as was the pasta. We will definitely be back
This is one of our favorite go to places for nice dinner out. The small plate offerings are fun to share, creatively done, and always delicious.
We generally enjoy the restaurants associated with the Castellucci Hospitality group, and Double Zero is no exception. Excellent food, exceptional service, and, unlike most restaurants of this size with this clientele, it was astonishingly spacious and blessedly quiet. Harder to come by than it ought to be.
Overall we had a good first time experience. I wanted the food to wow me but it was just ok and extremely overpriced. They try too hard to make the food sophisticated to justify those prices! Shareable plates resulted in a salad in which I got 6 lettuce leaves at best. Really enjoyed the cocktails. Service and staff was truly excellent. I wasn’t impressed enough to return. If I do return, it’s to visit the bar.
Great service. Great food.
My group of friends celebrated a birthday at Double Zero. We loved everything we ordered. The waitress was very helpful in pointing out which things we could share and provided excellent service to our group. The restaurant wasn't crowded on a Sunday night so it was quiet enough for us to talk to each other. Good wine list too. Complimentary half glasses of cava and some dessert were brought to help us celebrate. I will definitely be back!
My family of 8 celebrated my birthday at DZ. The food , wine and ambience were perfect. We felt relaxed and not rushed at all In this chill environment. We followed the waitresses’ suggestions and shared dishes in family style dining. It was plenty. The manager sent complimentary champagne at end of meal. Love Double Zero and as well as their sister restaurant Sugo.
Delicious food - everything from the interesting salad combinations to the fabulous desserts was amazing.
Great service - attentive wait staff/management who seemed genuinely interested in giving you a good experience.
Very good service and outstanding food on this visit.
The seared scallops were absolutely fabulous.
Unfortunately, the hostess did not mark our Open table reservation as checked in.
Double Zero was a pleasant surprise. We must have passed it many times, but never noticed it, which is odd considering it’s a pretty large restaurant. The complimentary valet is a nice touch, as finding parking in Emory Village can be challenging.
We were warmly greeted at the door. The nice ambience is readily noticeable upon entering the restaurant. We were seated at a nice table. No worries here about close tables. The restaurant is spacious.
Good menu! Nice options and reasonably priced. My spouse and I each ordered a pizza. They were pretty good. Unfortunately or fortunately, the pizzas were filling and we couldn’t eat another bit. We can hardly wait to visit Double Zero again to try other menu items.
I love Double Zero! It is the perfect combination of neighborhood hangout and destination dining. Great cocktails, wine list with many price points, killer pizzas, and inspired and delicious small plates and entrees. Service is always friendly and accommodating.
Food is fantastic! Service is a bit dodgy and the ambiance is okay. One of the reasons I picked it was to celebrate a dinner and the dress code was described as “smart casual”. Didn’t realize that was T-shirt’s, shorts and flip flops because most of their users were dressed that way. Keep that in mind if you want somewhere with a little class.
This is the first time we’ve come to double zero since they moved from Roswell Road. It’s farther than we thought, which was disappointing. The pizza was great just as remembered, but unfortunately they have removed their meat and cheese tray😢 and it was really cold- with the Ac blowing right on us. Unfortunately, we probably won’t make the trek back, unless the meat and cheese trays came back, or if we were in the neighborhood. Last night was supposed to be a celebration for my husbands promotion, but we were left a bit flat.
We thoroughly enjoyed our starters (especially the cauliflower) had a lovely tagliatelle bolognese and pizza. Four stars to my desert ... a perfect Manhattan is with Rye. Enjoyed it thoroughly.
food quality and service seems to have dropped off. a real shame as this has been a very good place and a solid go to for the neighborhood
Wonderful service from Maya, who managed food alllergies and a big group remarkably well.
How have I missed this place. Great food. Great prices. I didn’t know it was part of the Iberian Pig Group. It’s great
The staff were super friendly and fun to talk to. We went for the 17.76 meal deal and had a good time. The menu was more limited than usual, but the options were delicious and a great way to taste different menu items.
We will most likely return.
The restaurant and bar are well laid out and of a cool design. We were there early om a slow night, but the waiter was very helpful and the food was good. A pesky fly would not leave us alone, but not the restaurant's fault.
