Transport into our contemporary steakhouse, featuring a menu with robust selections cooked over hot coals including steak, seafood, chops, chicken and vegetables.

The décor will be modern, but not pretentious. The ambiance, sophisticated and multisensory, yet comfortable. The staff, educated, but not showy. The uniforms unique, but classically tasteful. Welcome to Double Cut.

We were here for my wife’s birthday. Nicole was very attentive and personalized her service. John Melnick did a spectacular performance on the piano and serenaded my wife with her favorite songs. Thank you!

Had the most LOVELY dinner birthday celebration at DC! Dianne was our incredible server! She was so attentive, and sweet! Jeffrey was an amazing bartender! Service was above and beyond!! Food and drinks were outstanding! The best ❣️

Our server Christopher was a terrible server. Not personable, totally flat. Did not introduce him self, didnt even come over for so long that I had to flag him down. Didnt get the extra sauce we asked for, had to flag him down for boxes and the bill. Then when we had put cash down for the bill and started walking away he came over and told us no cash. He should have told us beforehand. All in all, food good, service poor.

Service was great, the restaurant was nice and clean, and they have good background music. Food isn’t the best in my opinion it was pretty bland. The lobster Mac n cheese could’ve of been better if they melted our cheese more and the crab cakes were ok they could’ve had more flavor. The beef tacos had a weird taste to them. The truffle Parmesan fries were really good though.

Hanging bacon was on point as well as the Scallops. Out whole group ordered 8oz Filet all cooked medium. Only one out of 5 was cooked properly. Considering it is a Steakhouse, they should be no issue in cooking a steak to order. It wasn’t as if it was busy and didn’t seem short staffed. The restaurant just didn’t seem as good as it has in years past as we dine here every time we visit Kalahari in the Poconos.

It’s a fancy steakhouse but in a waterpark resort. Lots of kids and lots of kids noise during dinner. Food wise, the steaks were great. I had the Cajun filet mignon and it was amazing. The non-Cajun version was not as good.

Very happy there is booth seating alongside the fireplace area as you enter. Since the atmosphere in the main dining area can be loud and chaotic, this seating area is a great option to request that's conducive to quiet conversation

1st time here, I do like the fact there is a high end restaurant in Kalahari. Our server was fast, professional and engaged with my children we came to celebrate their bdays. Overall, everything was great. The steak I feel needed more seasoning. But I will come back again when my children wants to visit the water park again.

Do yourself a favor - if you are going to spend this much money on a meal, opt for Ruth’s Chris or Morton’s. This place is not worth the price, and the steak quality is average.

The food and drinks were amazing. I can't recall the name of the cocktail with the cool cherry wood box. And lava cake for dessert was also delicious. There was live music upon entering. My waitress was friendly and funny.

The restaurant was lovely. We were seated quickly and our server Kyle was great. The scallops were raw and the steak I ordered was rare. My son had a blast, he admired the animals and he enjoyed his food. Overall we had a good experience. It would have been perfect if the food was cooked a bit better. We told Kyle the issue and explained that we want nothing for free but to let the kitchen know what could be improved.

Server was friendly but slow to bring items to the table and didn’t check on us very frequently. Steaks were undercooked. Extremely overpriced for what you get. This place tried to be an upscale restaurant but failed. Would not recommend.

We had a 9:00 reservation, we were told to wait over by the lodge. Watched as several others parties were seated, some with reservations, some without. After about 20 min went back to the desk and they apologized and sat us. Once we were seated the cups on our table were dirty. My daughter picked up her glass to ask what was in it. It was wine. The only upside was our waitress Tammy. She was super friendly and very fun.

Our server Sean was amazing, and I was pleasantly surprised that everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. The ice cream sundae cart was a big hit with our girls, and our steaks were cooked perfectly. The ONLY thing I didn’t love were the steak sauces- I tried the bernaise and mushroom one and both weren’t seasoned right or hot enough. Otherwise it was all very good from start to finish.

We celebrated a wedding anniversary at Double Cut. We were not guests of the resort but live locally. Our waitress, Nina, was lovely and educated us all about the menu and it’s accompaniments. Our food was excellent. Restaurant is a little pricey, but a perfect place for a special occasion.

What a great restaurant to have at the Kalahari Resort. Very nice inside with tables, booths and fireplaces. Food was fantastic. Steaks cooked perfectly and there are plenty of sides and add one to chose from.
