Transport into our contemporary steakhouse, featuring a menu with robust selections cooked over hot coals including steak, seafood, chops, chicken and vegetables.

The décor will be modern, but not pretentious. The ambiance, sophisticated and multisensory, yet comfortable. The staff, educated, but not showy. The uniforms unique, but classically tasteful. Welcome to Double Cut.

The beef is not prime steakhouse quality. The ribeye ordered was a thin, tough, grizzly steak you’d purchase in the supermarket at 9.99 lb.

Steak was chewy and not what you would expect from a steakhouse. We should have sent it back but it took a very long time to get the food and getting the attention of the server. Server was overwhelmed and was unable to be attentive due to the volume he had but was very friendly and doing the best he could. Not his fault but when spending over $500 for 2 adults and 3 kids (two of which ordered off the kids menu which was $12 meals) it was disappointing.

The food was a amazing- kids meals, filet and thanksgiving Turkey roulade special, service was wonderful (very professional and great with our kids). Highly recommend for a nice evening dinner out.

Rack of lamb is good. Crab cakes are excellent. Live solo piano and vocals was great add to ambiance. Creative cocktail menu. Obviously very kid accommodating but we felt as though we had a real night out as adults even with the kids in tow. Very proper high end modern steak house vibe. Sushi options limited but very good. Nice to have that choice mixed into the offering. Didn’t try the steaks, but they looked fantastic rolling by on the serving carts. We would go back when staying here at Kalahari again.

The service was great, although both our broccoli and lobster came out cold and undercooked. For the price you are paying, the food should be cooked and come out warm. The manager was friendly and took care of the food on the bill so I was thankful for that.

Very nice ambiance in the restaurant. The hanging bacon was excellent, the steaks were cooked to order. Would definitely recommend a visit to the place if your staying at the resort.

Our experience there was amazing! First- we were seated at a booth and quickly realized there was a screaming baby next to us. As 4 adults out kidless for a meal, we didn’t want to have a baby screaming in our ears! We asked our waiter as indiscreetly as possible if there was anywhere else we could sit. At first there weren’t any better options so we stayed put. Our waiter came back a few minutes later and said his manager agreed to move us to another room. It helped so much! Our drinks were amazing and our food was some of the best ever! The bread was to die for! And our waiter was excellent!

Food was excellent and our server Luke was fantastic. He constantly refilled our beverages without us asking and he explained the menu and advised us of our options. One issue is that menu not geared to petite appetites. I would eat at this restaurant again

The restaurant was beautiful inside and the service was outstanding. However, it is located within a huge convention center, which takes away from the restaurant, parking is also challenging. The food was okay, nothing spectacular, certainly not worth what we paid.

Even for a resort steakhouse they fall well short of expectations. More in line with an All American style steakhouse but the menu costs are on par with the likes of Ruth Chris. The Italian restaurant on property is a much better choice.

Made 9pm reservations waited 50 min for cold steak that was well done to a another steak that was raw. The said part was we asked 30 mins prior and was told it would be right out. We left and went to the itlian restairant ate in 10 mins. Never go here rude staff not worth it.

Made reservations for my daughter birthday on 10/7/23 at 10:00pm we got their check, then they were sitting in the back where did their to be served never got served for 45 minutes and went to the front to complain so they moved us to the front we then waited an extra 20 minutes just to be served then I heard one of the servers talk about us, saying how we asked to be moved to the front because we never got served back there very rude.. I also asked them if they can come out and sing to my daughter for her birthday with a cake or something. They never did that I just got her a cake and I sing to her myself. But the front people was nice very poor service was their would’ve not go back to that restaurant again

We came 15 minutes prior to our appointment and was told we can’t be seated until it was closer time . The “manager “ “melissa” told us to have a seat near the piano for over half an hour during the time she took so many more people, and just left us sitting there didn’t even ask us, or never even came back to check on us, I had to ask another person if my table was ready. Food took over an hour to come out and everything was made incorrectly. All of my steaks were incredibly overdone. When I asked for medium, our server was wonderful, but the management and kitchen need to get it together am highly displeased. I will not be returning

This was are 10th time or so to Double Cut. We have always enjoyed the food and service there. Last night, September 30th, the food was really off. Salads, & appetizers & sides were very good. The mains - Ribeye, Filet & fish were Outback steakhouse quality at best. Steaks must smaller than usual and had absolutely NO seasoning whatsoever. We have no problem spending money on excellent food but $ 400 for 4 people of mediocre food, just doesn't cut it. The 10th time will most likely be our last.

It's a bit pricy, BUT well worth it. The food was great, even the kids ate everything! Our waiter, Shawn, was exceptional. It was a friendly, comfortable, relaxed & spacious atmosphere. The whole family really enjoyed the food, with no complaints. I would definitely go back the next time I'm there.
