Service was extremely slow. Almost unbearable.
Very expensive, slow service, food ok. Paid 3 times more then Texas Roadhouse without the quality and service value.
Three prime rib dinners. All came out cold. 2nd order came out over cooked and no flavor. Very disappointing especially with the price of the meal. Other 3 meals were steak and they were very good though. Hanging bacon very good appetizer.
A really enjoyable evening, made extra special by the extra effort the staff made for our anniversary. The service was excellent from the time we got there, matched only by the food.
Food wasn’t all that great for the price. Disappointing. Girls next to us were very loud and Dancing doing tik tok videos.

My brothers and our spouses got a night away from the kids courtesy of grandma. Great drinks, great appetizers, great dinners! Service was spot on. Wine and drink menu was extensive, and reasonably priced. Will come back.
Our meal was wonderful. The only thing that was less than enjoyable was another table had young kids that cried. Would definitely go back!

Short version: Food was good but slightly overpriced, Drinks were very overpriced, service was not good.
Long version: Arrived 10 minutes before reservation time, told we had to wait until reservation time to be seated, despite there being 10+ open tables; no big deal, we'll sit in the very cool waiting area.
Seated and waited 10ish minutes for the server to come by and take drink orders, she returned in about 10 more minutes with my $11 double of bourbon that was really about a single and took our food orders.
About 15 minutes later she dropped off some (delicious) bread and left before my significant other could order her drink... Another 15 minutes later the manager came to drop off our food. By then she didn't want her drink anymore, but I asked him (THE MANAGER) to get me a beer; it never came.
Our waitress came by about 20 minutes later to check on us. We were just about done eating anyway...She came back 20 minutes later with the check...
Our steaks were fantastic, the sides were very good. While it was good food, it wasn't really worth the price. 1 drink, 2 sides, 2 steaks and my bill was $126. Next time I'll just go somewhere like Outback or Texas Roadhouse, spend half as much for food that's just about as good, with better service. Oh, and if you're thinking "but this is a nice, quiet restaurant" nope! There were more children than adults there, which I have kids, that's fine, but if it's going to be loud and not romantic then again, I may as well go somewhere else.
It was a good meal. Would have given more stars but the server we had was hardly available to us. He never stopped by to check on us.
We had a wonderful first experience at Double-cut. I have a child with food allergies - they were able to accommodate him easily and my son loved his meal! My husband, daughter and me also loved our meals! Service was great (thank you, Brandon). We are looking forward to returning next time we come to the Dells!
We had reservations on Valentines Day, while staying at Kalahari with our kids for the weekend. We were taken to our table right away. The entrance has great seating areas with fire tables and a modern vibe. They stuck us in a corner by the emergency exit door, even though there were other tables - probably because we had kids. Server came to take drink order right away, but then it took forever to get drinks - we had to grab the manager and ask where our server was. Food was very good except our creamed spinach came out cold...they did make us a new one that came out hot. Overall, very good food but the service was very slow despite the restaurant having quite a bit of open tables.
Way overpriced for the quality of food. Waitress was nice but when my Wife expressed her dislike of the salad the waitress simply said really? Didnt ask if she’d like something else. We had cremebrule for dessert and one looked normal and the other was dark brown. Still tasted ok but is that normal? We will not go back.
Still one of my favorite places in this state! Always recommend to clients and everyone looking for a great place for any occasion.
My mother-in-law had never been there. My husband and I have been there several times. We thought it would be a great place to take her for Valentine’s Day. It did not disappoint. She was very happy with everything.
Food and Service was great and Manager Matt even went the extra steps to set up fresh flowers and chocolates for valentines day

I had the scallops with parmesan lemon risotto and the risotto was made with white rice, not arborio ... it was wet and soupy and not creamy like you'd expect it to be. The prices were not worth the quality of the food, like at all, so clearly they mark up the cost because of a 'perceived' luxury dining experience and the fact it's at the Kalahari. The ambience was better than any other restaurant in the facility, but it's trying to be this upscale steakhouse, when in fact the dining room is filled with babies in high-chairs and people dressed like they just got out of the waterpark. My blue cheese, dirty martini was $14. I don't even pay that going to a fancy restaurant in downtown MN. Our waitress was phenomenal though, and attentive, so no complaints on service. Just be prepared to get so-so food, for inflated prices.
Worst oysters I have ever had. Seafood tower was $110 with not much seafood and the Alaskan King crab was also pretty gross. Super intrusive waiter.
Use to be a very good restaurant,but not any more.May be they changed the cook,food was terrible.After the appetizers we moved to another restaurant for dinner

Great restaurant and food. Went with our families and it was great for everyone. We had a child with Celiac disease and they had a menu for her and bread (which most restaurants don’t offer). Overall very happy with our experience.

Great steaks, great shrimp cocktail, great short rib tacos, great salads, great sides (but obnoxiously loud sax music right in your ear at the bar.)
The drinks are fantastic! If anything, you should go to the bar or go to the lounge area with the fireplace. It is a great place for craft cocktails. Overall food was good. The sea bass was cooked perfectly, but my husband’s prime rib was a little fatty. The calamari was too salty for my taste, but the table enjoyed it.
Great food at a water park family resort. My $62/pound crab leg was served ice cold next to my completely over done ribeye. The crab leg was ordered to be steamed with drawn butter. The mashed potatoes were not cooked through, so many raw chunks. The steak and Potatoes and Crab leg were truly full of taste, but the temps were off enough that I decided to write this review. My son ordered truffle fries. They had no taste beside bland fries. My other son ordered a bacon grilled cheese sandwich and it was delicious! Again, to have a restaurant like this one inside of this water park resort is great, and great food for this type of setting, however for the price point these entrees should be served at a higher quality.
Extremely slow service with very few customers. Totally forgot to serve our appetizers until we reminded them when our main entree was served. Portions of main entree excellent some mediocre.
Very overpriced for quality. Steak was fatty and seasoned unevenly. Waiter was not attentive at all. Mac n cheese as a side was luke warm and dry. Shrimp Tempura as an appetizer was very good. Oysters were very small. We were here a couple of years ago and it was excellent. Not anymore. When you spend over $200 for 3 people to dine, you should be in awe. There are plenty of great restaurants in the Dells. I would not recommend dining here.
Food and services was absolutely amazing. Such delicious food. Oysters Rockefeller is a MUST! Filet mignon was soooooo perfect! Loved all the food and definitely plan on coming back.

It was a great experience. Our waiter, Brandon was by far the best waiter we have ever had. Very personable, and helpful. Great guy Chef Nick was awesome also. Love it.
Great Food. Would have been 5 stars but our side dish was a little cold and our steaks a tad over medium like we ordered. A bit noisier than we expected it to be. Would still recommend.
The dinner entre's showed imagination. the smoked salmon steak was outstanding, I have never had that meal before Double Cut.

Our food and service were excellent....and being a wino...I love that they have a great wine list and don’t up charge very much from retail. My wife and I snuck away for a couple hours and then our 8 year old her friend joined us for dinner...so it’s also kid friendly.
Every year that I’m forced to go to Kalahari I’ll be a little less cranky as long as Double Cut is open.
I was staying at a bed and breakfast in Reedsburg. I wanted to have a fine dinner and chose to eat at the Double Cut. It was a good choice... good food, service and ambiance. I had a tasty ribeye steak with garlic mashed potatoes. I would return.
