When Lisa and Vicente Gutierrez launched Dos Hermanos Taco Truck in 2012, all they had was a borrowed food truck and a dream. With just $2,000 in savings and no formal business education, they decided to give the mobile food truck business a chance. Their brand, authentic Oaxacan-style recipes, and dedication to using the best local ingredients, led to long lines and raving fans. Dos Hermanos Columbus secured contracts to serve at venues including Lower.com Field, and the Greater Convention Center. Today, Dos Hermanos holds contracts with Levy Restaurants and Aramark. Since expanding from a food truck to 4 brick-and-mortar locations, guests can now frequent Dos Hermanos in Easton Town Center, the historic North Market Downtown, the North Market at Bridge Park, and Food Fort 2.0.

They were super accommodating for our large group of 12 people. The service was excellent as multiple people kept checking on us for drink refills and after we got our food. The food came out quick and was delicious. The Mexican street tacos were excellent! We had a great family here, would highly recommend!

This restaurant in Easton has a fast food feel. I ordered 3 shrimp tacos from from the Oaxaca menu and it was terrible. Each taco had a small amount of chopped pink small boiled shrimp, corn kernels and celery without discernible spices. The other diner at my table asked for more iced tea and was told only soda gets free refills although another server did come by later with a pitcher. Each of us paid $18 and left stunned. This is a No from us.

Had dinner for four; 2 adults, 2 kids. They were moderately busy at the time. The service was fair, everyone was nice, but unfortunately, the drinks we ordered didn’t come out until part way through our meal and one of them was made wrong. My burrito was pretty dry and didn’t seem to have the sour cream or salsa it was supposed to come with. I’d give them another shot, but even with the manager bringing out our drinks and apologizing, they didn’t offer to discount the drinks. Overall, $76 before tip for a family of 4 people and food was average.

Everything is spot on at dos Hermanos. The staff is friendly, accommodating, and the servers are excellent and professional. I had the guacamole (amazing) and 3 dos Hermanos tacos--the pork was especially delicious --with fresh ingredients. The restaurant is also spotless and like the choice of tequila and reposado Tequila as well!

Arrived shortly after they opened at 11a.m. Tortilla chips were cold and stale. Everything on the menu was priced higher than other similar establishments. Husband's order was "Shredded" Chicken with Mole and Rice, but it came to the table having NOT been shredded (so he had to shred it using his fork) and he had to ask for his rice. The best part of the meal was the free Mother's Day treat.

The staff at Dos Hermanos was very accommodating of our large (11p) group. The food was top notch, everything very fresh and exactly as described. The new addition of a taco salad was leaps and bounds above what you'd "expect" for a taco salad. We will come here again!

We did not care for the food, unfortunately. I tried the three tacos, each with a different protein. No flavor whatsoever. The margaritas were good though, and our server was wonderful!

It was a free time for dinner. The margaritas are excellent and their chips and salsa are terrific. We enjoyed the Barbacoa on the street tacos and we definitely come back. The atmosphere was festive and the service was friendly, kind, and very good.

For a restaurant open only 90 days, it's a great place to try. I recommend getting there for happy hour as that is the biggest bang for your buck. The ambience reminds me of a modern take on a sit-down food truck. The portion sizes are good for what you order and unlike the bigger chain restaurants, you can tell ingredients are fresh. We plan on coming here again and bringing our family from out of town to get their take.
