Dorsia’s pasta flights are delicious! You get to try as many pastas as you want and so it’s a perfect thing to do with a group of friends or family! Also makes for a fun date! The service was great and I cannot recommend it enough!
I have heard about this place from multiple people and thought I'd try it out for a friends Bachelorette party to start off the night. Everyone LOVED every pasta that they ordered. We all ordered a flight of 2 and some of us got the same, but the majority were different. There wasn't a pasta that I tried that I didn't like. The noodles were amazing. It's a little pricey, but understandable because the food was so good. Definitely will be back.
We went to Dorsia for my daughters 13 birthday. The pasta was exceptional, Our service was really good and the overall restaurant was nice. The only complaint that I have is that there was a large; half dollar sized piece of plastic in the Birthday tiramisu that they brought out for my daughter that she almost swallowed it. I also felt that the drinks were very weak and overpriced. I would go back again, skip the drink and just eat more pasta.
The food was very good! We got the spinach artichoke dip and it was outstanding. We also got the pasta flight (chicken parm, Alfredo, and the duck carbonara). All of them were very good as well. Would highly recommend this place!
Service was terrible.
Girls night out. Our server was so friendly and helpful. Food was fantastic. This is my second visit and both times it was outstanding. Definitely a must try when in Milwaukee
Was visiting from out of town by myself and wanted somewhere rather decent and upscale to eat, chose this place based on the pasta flights & the appetizer selection and other reviewers. Was definitely NOT let down! I went on a Sunday evening was rather busy and hopping, apparently that's normal for Brady street so that was a plus. It was the bartenders birthday I later found out :-) so chatted with her made my selections the brussel sprouts are amazing and ordered my standard glass of champange. Did my thing kept to myself chatted with the woman next to me alittle bit. Ordered my pasta flight 2 (duck & pesto) more than enough of a serving and was not disappointed at all. Very very yummy! So happy I chose this place and will definitely be back. The ambiance and the vibe was so me as well the dark colors small bar etc.
Went for our two year wedding anniversary and it was everything we hoped it would be and more
The pasta flight was excellent - every one that we ordered was fresh and very tasty.
Very loud on a Saturday night - other than that I will be back again soon for the great pasta dishes.
More of a bar feel than restaurant. Small and pretty loud. Flights were a fun experience, but there's no price difference than ordering multiple small dishes.
The pasta was great! The proteins we’re very average. Server was great!
This was one of our favorite stops on our classy bachelorette weekend. Did was outstanding & creative, our server was the best! And everyone was friendly. Cannot beat pasta flights!!! We all loved it!!
Attentive staff, food was amazing, didn’t feel rushed at all to get out of the restaurant
The restaurant wasn’t busy and the staff was anxious to serve us but we weren’t halfway through our salad and they brought us our entree, didn’t like that.
Absolutely outstanding!! We were blown away by the amazing bruschetta and pasta flight. Service was great- I believe our servers name was Christopher- he was so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!
Great place to eat! They had great gluten free pasta that was cooked in its own water! So I did not get any cross contamination. Lots of different toppings and choices! Love the way you could order a couple of kinda Will come back again when come into town.
The flight of pasta was such a unique way of being able to taste and share four dishes. The chicken piccata was the best I have had in the city. Since I cook Sicilian, the red sauces were on the sweet side but had generous amounts of meat. Our server, I believe her name was Mallory, was one of the best we’ve ever had. Mallory was prompt, courteous, efficient and had a delightful personality. They also offered gluten free pastas. We will definitely go back. Excellent job!
Very interesting and worth the visit. If you like to sit in the bar area, sit outside at the patio or sit in the dining room; they have a place for you. They pasta selection is large and they also have a pizza section. We did pasta flights - we couldn’t decide. A total of seven selections and all were very good.
Negatives- well a table of three loud mouth individuals overtook the dining room. You could barely hold a conversation. The wine list was pretty bland. So, in the scheme of things Pretty Good!
Great meal. The hostesses were kind to us even though we were late to our reservation. The pasta flights were a unique experience and I love the decor!
The pasta flight is brilliant and a must for 2-3 people!!! Will definitely be there again!!
It was a great place to go to for my son's birthday. He loved the idea of the pasta flight. My dish was a little dry. I enjoyed the Italian sangiovese wine better than the pinot noir. Fun neighborhood. Tough to find parking but it was a nice weather evening.
The pasta flight was amazing to say the least. The carbonara, pesto and caprese were so good. The carbonara took the lead, but the pesto was a close second!! The calamari was good too, but nothing exceptional. But this certainly kept me craving these pastas for days...
Food was amazing! Happy to introduce a new friend to Dorsia & we will all be back!
We went to celebrate 2 birthdays and were not disappointed! We had drinks, the Brussels sprouts appetizer and a flight of 5 different pastas. Everything was absolutely delicious, and the house made pastas were enthusiastically approved by the Italian connoisseur with us. The birthday girls were given tiramisu for dessert and it was fantastic too. Atmosphere was upscale casual and the noise level was good (not quiet but definitely not raucous either). Highly recommend!
Great ambiance for date night and special occasions! Also, just great for everyday dining !
My co workers recommend this restaurant and it was a winner. I took my family there and we all loved it. The pasta flight was AMAZING!!!!
Our service was excellent and although it was on the pricey side, it was well worth it.
My husband and I will definitely be back.
Our waitress made a few mistakes with drinks and food. Normally we have amazing service.
We started with the artichoke and spinich dip which we questioned where were the artichoke and spinich. In addition, the amount of salt used was unbearable. We proceeded to order the flights of pasta (which by the way pricing is not listed) and every single dish had an excessive amount of salt. We ended up throwing it out. We will not be back.
It was my wife’s birthday.
Next time I make a reservation, I will ask for table not in the bar area. I get it but it’s a bit loud for our dining.
The food at Dorsia was amazing, however when we went the kitchen was severely understaffed and we waited an hour and a half for our food after ordering. The waitress was very apologetic but it was unacceptable. For the price we paid for the food, we expected a much better experience than we had.
Our server Blake was very energetic. He was excellent but he was waiting alot of tables. We had pizza which was very good. The pasta noodles were very thick spaghetti noodles on two choices. I prefer more of a vermicelli but I didn't ask for options so no complaints. Nice idea of puting all of your pasta choices on one platter and sharing. Not a bad place but not fantastic.
Fun. Different. Delightful. But, a bit on the loud side if you are wanting to hear the people in your party.
The pasta flights are a really great idea.
Omg! What a Gem! My bestie and I came for dinner )
Possibly the worse restaurant in Milwaukee. Because it was listed on Open Table.. I thought it would be better quality.. it’s a bar with cheap food and bad drinks . Skip it .
Dorsia was amazing! Some of the best pasta I have ever had. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to a friend and I will for sure be coming back! I love it!
Birthday dinner. The pasta flight was amazing and great to share. Pizza was delicious. Cheesecake for a special birthday treat was the best we ever had. And it was complimentary. We will definitely be going back.
Food and atmosphere were outstanding. Service was lacking (drinks came after appetizers, no spoons for our soup until we asked, no plates provided for our pasta flight). But the exceptional food made up for it and I would still recommend it for great pasta.
Dorsia is one of my favorite places to get pasta. The service is always fantastic, and the food and variety of options is outstanding. I think it may have been unlucky, but there was an odor in the back room which wasn't very appealing, and it hung around for the duration of our experience. Other than than, the food was what I've come to expect, and the waiter was excellent!
