    Everything was perfect, staff very friendly and professional. Had booked a table here as a birthday treat for my friend, she was very touched to receive a birthday card from the hosts on arrival. Little things mean a lot.... We chose the Cheshire Cat afternoon tea, all the food was so fresh and tasted delicious, we were both very impressed with the presentation and delivery (served in 3 courses). Alongside the charming decor and ambiance it was a lovely afternoon. Definitely will be back!

    I took my friend to celebrate her birthday, and the team went out of their way to make her feel special, with a card and candle on a cake, so thankyou for that! We loved the quirkyness of the decor and originality of the menu. These days it's all burgers and toasties wherever you go...ugh! The Queen of Hearts cake was amazing,the others paled slightly in comparison ( but looked pretty). However, I heartily recommend Dormouse Haven. You won't regret it ...oh and make sure to visit the loos.....

    The Venue itself is amazing so much to see and very tastefully decorated, the Alice in Wonderland theme is simply enchanting. Food was lovely and plenty of it, service was excellent too and for a change no time slot to adhere to so we could take our time eating the lovely food, we will definitely be back for sure.

    The staff, food, drinks everything was wonderful. Everything we were given to eat was home made and super delicious, especially the lavender cake i tried it was so tasty . All of the lovely ladies that served us today too made the experience here top notch, so polite and kind to us. It was my dad’s father’s day treat and he’s very picky with afternoon tea, but this was “perfect” ( his words) . Thankyou to all the staff at Dormouse Haven for an amazing time !!

    Absolute hidden treasure. Food, service, ambience, everything was perfect. We loved the Alice in wonderland theme and the restroom was a bit special. Our food was of a very high standard and we ate as much as we could even packing up a few cakes to take home because there was far too much. Highly recommend this gem of a place,

    2nd visit in a week. What a wonderful find. Beautiful setting and lovely outdoor area. Booked a table outside as 2nd visit with the dogs. A bowl of dog water was ready next to our table in the shade on this really hot sunny day. Very informative staff of the menu and choices to take. Lovely owner with 30 years of chef experience so expect gorgeous home made cakes and savoury’s. Will be back. Best afternoon tea in Cheshire.

    Really lovely little tea room. We had afternoon tea and it was great. The cakes were exceptional and the scones were probably the best I’ve ever had (although we took them home and ate them later because we were so full!)
