It was very busy and very noisy in the restaurant as there was a large party so it was probably a bit noisier than usual. I enjoyed my salad but I wasn’t expecting shredded carrot on it but odd for an Italian salad food overall was good good value very good service

To be fair, my only experience was on New Year’s Eve and I know that is a busy time. The table was so close to the next people my boyfriend and I couldn’t even have a proper conversation. They had two different songs playing at once at one point. So it was very uncomfortable. The server did not come to the table, it took the owner offering us water after 20 minutes of being sat. We ordered all at once. Cocktails were fine, they brought us the wrong appetizer, the main was “kitchen mix up” and took a very long time. The food was very average and bland. The bolognese was watery and tasteless. The server offered free drinks for the mistake but never came back to ask us what we’d like. I was so disappointed because it was a special occasion. Maybe it was an off night.

My family of 6 had a reservation on New Years Eve. We were greeted immediately by a lovely hostess who seated us right away, but our actual waitress seemed to be in over her head. She struggled to understand what we were ordering and we had to repeat ourselves. The menu on the table differed from the one online; I had raved about the meatball appetizer but it wasn't on the menu that night. The food we did order was delicious though; absolutely no complaints about the price either. However, our after dinner coffees arrived cold and it was 40 minutes before we saw our desserts. Our waitress then made it very clear that we needed to leave as there was another reservation waiting for our table. It left a very bad taste after such a good meal with such lovely ambiance. The wait for dessert may be excusable due to it being a busy New Years Eve but the cold coffee and borderline rude service cannot. The restaurant deserves another chance because of the exceptional food and otherwise lovely staff...I'd hate to judge it completely by one rude waitress.

Our waiter and waitress were very friendly and made sure we were well looked after. The food was delicious. Only complaint was that we were informed about 20 minutes after having ordered that an ingredient of 2 of the dishes we ordered was sold out. Not the waiter's fault. Kitchen staff need to be more on top of things like this and advise right away. The substitution ended up being very good. Waiter did take one meal off our bill which was unexpected and truly appreciated . This wouldn't stop us from going back.

Authentic Italian food, emphasizing pizza and pasta, with attentive and friendly service. The spaghetti al amatriciana was an unexpected treat! Strongly recommended.

The restaurant is cozy and a nice addition to Coquitlam. The food is decent and delicious although the pasta portions are small and the pizza had a soggy bottom so the toppings kept falling off. The staff are lovely and the ambiance is warm and inviting.

Pasta was excellent, owner was a bit invasive. Pushy on alcohol, bottle of wine gone before meal arrived. A little expensive for what we ordered.

Wonderful restaurant, owner operator with excellent food. We've been there several times and the cuisine is amazing. The only thing that put me off on my last visit was the rude young hostess. The was some confusion regarding my reservation made through open table, and her tone was disrespectful and accusatory, with the implication that it was my fault and she was put out by it. What happened to customer service? and the customer being right?
