Great Ribeye Steak!!! Service was outstanding.
The food and service were great as usual. It was nice to see a slight change in the menu. Congratulations on being voted the best restaurant in Fargo.
We enjoyed a special family dinner at one of our favorite places. The ambiance is quite nice, the food is delicious, and our service - provided by CJ - was great. If you haven’t tried the butternut squash soup, you just don’t know what you’re missing! The menu is varied and will have definitely have something for everyone.
Poor food quality for what we paid. I don’t think any of the food was fresh made and it was served warm not hot. Don’t think we’ll be going back to this place again.
Our reservation for5 people was available at the time we requested. The restaurant was completely full and noisy when we sat down. As the time went by and more folks were eating the ambiance improved greatly. We basically "closed the place" as we had not seen the folks who joined us in a very long time due to the pandemic. The service was outstanding, and we were impressed by not only our waitress, but all the wait staff seemed to care that we were well taken care of, and would stop by to see if we needed anything else. The food was fantastic, perfectly prepared and served immediately when it was ready. The wine list is adequate for this restaurant, and the range of patrons was from old (like us) to families with young children, and the restaurant accommodated all without a hitch. We will be back again when traveling to the Fargo-Moorhead area. This is the third time we have been to Doolittles Woodfire Grill and each time we visit, it gets better.
I had a group in yesterday for a business lunch. The food took forever and there was hardly anyone in the restaurant. We arrived at 12:40pm (with a reservation) and we got our food at 1:30pm after ordering immediately since my group only had an hour for lunch. Super disappointing. I will not be returning here as I believe the server was more worried about rolling silverware than getting our food out. The soups were also cold.
All of our food was delicious!
Nice restaurant with a good selection of menu item. Outdoor seating was very nice and the service was good.
20 minutes to get a drink, 45 minutes for food, food was ok…rusty and wilted lettuce for the salad. I totally understand that the food service industry is suffering from lack of help, but the restaurant wasn’t full and it seemed to be very chaotic.
Excellent as always. Great service.
Reservation was ready and seating immediate. Doolittles was busy so the ambient noise level was a noticeably higher than normal. Great service and our party of six generally enjoyed their food.
Nice place, very good service, food is very good. Overall a good value.
My husband and I had a great time dining here on Saturday night! We had an awesome pork tenderloin and walleye dish. Our waiter was fantastic! He had a big crowd to work and you wouldn’t have guessed it. He sold us on dessert and that was amazing too! After moving our daughter in to college this was exactly what we needed, thank you!
Great food as usual. The service was excellent. We will be back.
Had a great time. Great food and beverages.
Place was packed. Very noisy. The waitress was polite and service was good. Food was excellent.
Crusted walleye was excellent. Salad was also great.
When we got there, we were seated and given water, but he asked my husband what he wanted to drink, not me. I had to ask for a glass of wine. After I got the wine, it tasted poorly, so I asked the waiter to take it, he never asked if I wanted something else. My husband’s ribs were dry, my scallops overcooked. The waiter returned to our table once. All in all a bad dining experience. We won’t be going back.
It was too hot, that my boyfriend and I got sick. Had to go to the bathroom to cool down. I had to start faning myself with the drink menu to cool down. That’s when they decided to turn on the air. I would never go back there. They can’t even accommodate a simple Happy Birthday on a cake.
My wife and I have gone to Doolittle’s probably 20 times and never disappointed. This last time though service was so slow☹️. Normally we are in and out within or less than a hour. This time it took almost 2 hours and the place was dead! Will come back for sure but hopefully service is a little closer to normal.
We have been to Doolittle’s many times over the years and the food is always tasty. If you go there at a busy time it can get very loud in the restaurant, and the wood fire does make the space very warm.
Don’t get anything with rotisserie chicken - bland, flavorless - yuck.
Had a lovely Mothers Day dinner with the family. The service was a little slow but considering how busy they were, we weren't suprised. The food was all absolutely delicious and we were happy to wait for it!
Great food and service. Loved our experience.
First time here. Walleye finger appetizer was excellent, as was the chicken wild rice soup. Recommended. Both of our entrees were good, not great. My son's pork was somewhat dry, and could have been improved with some additional sauce, that was already on the underlying vegetables. I got the chicken and rib combo. We will likely return, but will try something else on the menu, or perhaps just get bigger bowl of the soup, one of the salads, and the walleye fingers?
The scallops were excellent. Served with fingerling potatoes, some corn and a wonderful sauce.
Delicious food! Loved being able to make a reservation.
Our server made my birthday dinner extra special. He was welcoming and professional, offering great menu suggestions.
Great as always
Got seated immediately as per our reservation, in a booth as requested. Food was excellent, service was excellent. The price was appropriate. It was comfortably quiet and a good time all around.
Excellent food, good location
I always appreciate that Doolittles makes an effort to assure your table is available at your reserved time despite the restaurant being very busy. Jason was an exceptional server despite having many tables. We never waited long for anything.
it’s really an amazing place but with their covid limited menu i wasn’t too happy.. the food i got wasn’t really worth what i paid
The limited menu contained the best and most popular items from a time not dominated by COVIDIOCY. The service was excellent, both at the bar while waiting for a table, and the the rest of the evening. The filet mignon could have be cut with a fork. Perfect.
Doolittles is one of our regular places to eat out. The food is excellent as well as the service. We enjoy the quiet environment where you can carry on a conversation without raising your voice. I especially like the ribs and my wife likes the salmon.
Food was good, service was good!! Tables are adequately spaced.
Good service & food. Establishment did a good job following CDC guidelines for COVID.
Wings served cold ... not room temp or warm, cold.
House salad consisted of iceberg lettuce and tons of fried wontons.
The walleye fingers were very good and the service was good.
I asked for a table away from noise of kitchen and bar- and got it! Thanks so much!
Always great food and service. I feel very safe dining outside.
