Love their patio; for the most part you don't realize you are so close to a busy road. Once in awhile you hear an obnoxiously loud car, but not often. Their salads are great. They were out of several of the wines we like, but no doubt that is beyond their control. Server never rushed us but was still attentive.

Great wood-fired grill restaurant. Had a Ceasar salad and they even had anchovies to make it authentic. Had the wood fired chicken with ribs. Chicken was tasty with a good smoke flavor. Ribs were nice and tender. Outdoor patio was very nice and not too noisy except for a few loud motorcycles.

We showed up for 7 o’clock reservation and we’re promptly escorted to our table. On our way we passed by two open booths and seated at a table in the middle of the crowded restaurant. When I inquired about changing I was told those are for people with reservations prior to ours and are being held for them. I asked why someone who is on time for their reservation is being penalized and the late people are being catered too. I was told “there’s a system”. Doolittles, there’s a flaw in your system. After a minute or two, the hostess realized how ridiculous this was and moved us to a booth.

My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary. We were seated on the patio, which despite some traffic noise was comfortable, with very nice landscaping. Katie was a friendly, capable and attentive server. My husband had the fettuccini alfredo and I had the roasted pear and chicken salad, both were delicious. We were offered a complimentary dessert, and we had the mud pie, which was really good. All in all, a great evening and we would go back in a heartbeat!

Always fun to try something new on the menu and be delighted. Don't pass up the chicken wings (best in the Twin Cities) and the delicious walleye fingers! Monday nights are half price wine bottles!

My 70th birthday. The food and ambience was excellent. The service was not so great. The waitress got our drinks order and then disappeared for quite awhile. When she brought our drinks we ordered and she asked if we wanted a bread basket. When she brought the bread basket, she just tossed it on the table and kept walking by. Someone else delivered our meals and someone different brought the BBQ sauce and butter. No one checked with us as to how the meal was. After we finished our meal we sat for 20 minutes while our table was cleared off and finally a different server came and brought our bill at which time we stated it was my birthday. She gave us a dessert menu and left She came. Ack in 5 minutes and answered a few questions for us and took our dessert order. We ate our dessert, paid the dinner bill and left. The restaurant was not that busy for such terrible service. The good was awesome.

My steak ordered medium was very well done!! I will say they have us a very private table and let us stay until close. Our waitress was very kind and fast. I could tell she was the only waitress in our section. If the steak was cooked right my review would be better.

I love Doolittles, but was a little disappointed with our recent visit. I had reservations for my family of 6 for my birthday. When we arrived and checked in the hostess said the table was just getting cleaned off. After waiting 15 minutes I again went to check in and she had forgot about us. During this time numerous parties were seated. When we were taken to our table we were given a small booth that we had to uncomfortable squish into. When we requested to move to either a table or a bigger booth we were told that we would have to wait at least 45 minutes until something else opened up. A little frustrating to say the least especially since we had a reservation.
