Great food, atmosphere and service. We definitely be back!
Everything great except: restaurant needs new awning in front; pile of debris at front entrance; interior needs repair; sat next to hole in wall (no plaster or paint); saw other areas that need repair and or paint
Excellent place to eat in downtown Anderson. Very nice and knowledgeable wait staff, amazing dishes, and the wine menu is above standard! The food we ordered all tasted amazing! A must try!
The location is a perfect spot downtown. They Staff is very friendly. Our server was on top of it.. We had a large party and she was able to handle it well! Food is always good. Would recommend to everyone. Budget friendly.
always enjoy the food. patio seating is dog friendly and is a great bonus.
VERY MUCH PLEASED WITH OUR SERVER AS SHE WAS PLEASENT AND KNEW ENOUGH NOT TO BADGER US THROUGH THE MEAL. BOTH OUR MEALS WERE NICELY PRESENTED AND PORTIONS WERE FILLING. IT WAS A MEMORABLE 43RD WEDDING ANNIVERSARY; THANKS !
Terrific Service. A bit on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for. I took my niece there for a nice dinner, we got an appetizer, both got a dinner dish (rather then a sandwich), water and a soda. Bill was $60 - left the waitress a nice tip of $20.
Great atmosphere, live music on the weekends. My husband and I have been a few times and really like it.
We took an 85 year old and a 94 year old to Sunday lunch for their respective birthdays to follow on April 3rd. Our server was outstanding. She was very patient considering all our questions and various dietary issues. The food was excellent. Our friends thoroughly enjoyed their birthday treat and expressed a desire to return. The only problem was the sun shining through the side door into our eyes. We kept moving around the table trying to avoid the glare. At times we could not see each other to talk! Maybe some kind of blind or shade would help.
There was an issue in the kitchen which impacted our meal. The manager and the waitress made sure to keep us informed and that we were ok. The meal was very good. One of my favorite places in Anderson to eat when I am in the area.
Food and service were very good. For an early dinner seating, the bar was a bit more boisterous than one would expect-especially when several dining patrons had children present.
Very tasty food, A bit noisy. Mimosas were less than expected. better quality orange juice would help.
Overall a very pleasant experience
Excellent food and reasonably priced. Wait staff was friendly and helpful.
The seafood was fresh and delicious with a very laid back atmosphere. I will definitely go back!
Special Valentine's day menu was wonderful. We both enjoyed every course. Highly recommend Doolittle's.
Our favorite Anderson restaurant !
Went here with another couple and we all really enojoyed our meals! I had the salmon and it was the best I’ve had in a long time. My husband got the Shepard’s pie and ate every bite! We will be back again!
The customer service is always great. If I go for lunch I order the crabcake melt, Dinner I order the parmesan crusted chicken.
I eat at Doolittle’s often for both lunch and dinner. I have never been disappointed in the food or the service. The crab cakes are my favorite. They are delicious!
Very friendly, small town restaurant feel. Owner tended bar and recommended some great dishes. My steak was okay, just dry. The crabcakes were wonderful. Pretty cozy and noisy with limited seating.
Rib eye was great. Baked potato was not hot. Noise level is always on the high side. Took a long time to get our bottle of Prosecco. Our waitress Emily was great.
Very friendly and great food.
My wife and I have gone there a few times now and we have not been disappointed. The service has been very attentive and the pricing reasonable. Their fish and chips are excellent! Now whenever we go to Anderson we stop at Doolittle’s to eat!
Happened to be in Anderson around lunchtime so chose Doolittle’s. Staff is very friendly and food is okay. The hamburger soup was excellent. The restaurant was very cold. Customers kept their jackets on making it hard to enjoy lunch.
We had been for a bar visit before and brought family for dinner. The food and service were good. There was live music and we could not carry on a conversation. They placed a round table for the five of us and it was a portable table. This would’ve been fine, but Someone had to sit at the end with a bar (of course me) and I could not slide up to the table. I had to sit sideways which was quite uncomfortable.
Food good; service SLOW; way too dark for lunch
Always awesome food and service
We got there right when they opened and our server was attentive, but it took 48 minutes for our brunch to come out and some of our food was cold.
My first time to Doolittle and throughly enjoyed it
Salmon was waaaay undercooked. Not even close to medium. Food was slow arriving. Servers were efficient.
The buffalo crab appetizer was great. Portion sizes are great. We made reservations for 11 people and our table was ready to go when we got there!
Best part was service. Mac and cheese was served cold and flavorless. Asparagus was very over cooked and inedible. Nachos with chicken was good and best selection of all items.
We are RVers and found Doolittles on the internet. We had Salmon on Friday nite and enjoyed the food and service so much we returned on Monday for my husband's birthday. He had the ribeye and I had the scallops. Dessert choices were lacking to our taste so I can't comment on that but the plates were creative and delicious. Service was excellent and pleasant both nights. The atmosphere is very 'recovered old building' style but clean and appropriately decorated. I would go again.
Enjoyed the food. Late lunch, early dinner. Service a little slow.
They were out of lots of menu items food wasnt the best and some things on menu prices were higher than normal.
Even out of sodas on Sunday it wasnt the best service either.
I would go to another place for brunch and make sure you call and see why they have on menu fish and chips desserts and other menu items not available . Also the thighs on appetizer was a chicken thigh cut up sauce not at all what I was expecting no skin and not even close to hot wings .
Dressings are good that is all .
Too expensive and food quality poor
We were in Anderson to visit and decided to try Doolittle’s. There was a car show in the area so we had to park and walk a bit, but it was easy to find. It was a cute restaurant with a good menu. Our server was super sweet and brought us some chips because our meal was taking a long time. She was very attentive and thoughtful. Food was pretty good and my family left happy!
Good live music with guitarist/singer. It was a little loud to have a conversation. They ran out of cider. Food was good. Will go back.
Good place for a business lunch with variety and attentive staff.
Really great food at an excellent price!
Very good food & friendly service! Thanks!
