Thursday night out as a couple. My starter of prawns came out cold but it was quickly changed and was excellent in taste and temperature .My husbands buttata was super.
His main course curry was good but nothing special in flavor. I had the lamb and it was succulent and full of taste. My side of salad was just too overpriced. It was a small bowl of 90% lettuce for €5. Ridiculous. Waitress was super attentive and there when we needed her.

Lovely restaurant, staff are lovely and it looks really great but the food’s not up to much. Got a prawn Jalfrezi and it was basically a big bowl of onions not much in the way of flavour. If you want a good Indian go to Pickle down the road. If you can get in!

Excellent on all levels.. The food, the service the ambiance was top notch. I would highly recommend Doolally 👍

Everything was lovely

Best chicken tikka masala in dublin. Didn't like saag ghost much. Naan was nice and soft. Starters are good too.

Come for the food and the venue but don’t have any expectations about service, unfortunately indicative of Dublin’s food scene at large

First time and loved it! It’s HUGE! Staff were fantastic and the food was great.

The vegan/vegetarian options are really poor for an Indian restaurant. There is one dish that is a few vegtables in a fairly bland tomato sauce that was totally overpriced.

When I arrived, the server showed me to a not great table and while he was doing that my friends arrived and they were shown to a much nicer table. ???

The place is lovely and beautifully decorated. The food arrived very fast (like within 10 mins of sitting down).

It seemed there were a lot of problems with the service. We were seated 15 mins after our booking. Another 15 to order. No knives on the table when the starter arrived. The difference between starters and main courses where not clear on the menu. I ended up ordering two starters without this being pointed out to me. However, the food was absolutely the best Indian food we ever had so this made up for the service. Also, the staff seemed very aware of the serving problems and couldn't be more apologetic. I'm sure it's just teething problems so we'll definitely be back!

Beautiful restaurant, wonderful staff, the curries were missing something and were over salted however which was a pity and the dessert size was ridiculous.

Overall great but the flavours were sometimes lacking...

Had a couple of cocktails at the bar on arrival, the bar man was hands down unbelievable. He told my partner to ignore the menu and asked him what he liked. He nailed the drinks.
Food was super tasty, starter portions a little small to be honest.
We ordered a really good bottle of red wine and it was served too cold, perhaps you need to rethink the storage area.
Ambiance and atmosphere fabulous, cannot wait to return❤

Booked for a birthday celebration and when I tried to add two more people I was told the restaurant was fully booked but when we arrived there was loads of empty tables so we were a bit disappointed about that. Other then that a lovely meal.

Can’t wait to return . We were a party of eight and everyone raved about their food. Decor is amazing. Service could be better, felt waiter was over stretched.

Great Indian food. Wonderful vegetarian selection. As avid Indian food eater it could be a bit more spice & less salt. Still great food.

My husband and I went here for lunch last Saturday - our first of many visits I'm sure! The decor is beautiful, lovely relaxed ambience, super friendly staff and the food is amazing - and very reasonably priced too. Well done Doolally!

The first time I’ve been there was much better. This time it was disappointing for 2 reasons: the host was is a very bad mood and was rude, and the food was tasteless.

Best food I've had in a long time. If your looking for good qaulity food, with a great ambience and very reasonable price this is for you. Food was delicious well presented and staff where so nice and helpful.

Loved everything about this restaurant.. food, service, price, ambiance .. everything! Will definitely go back and definitely recommend it!

Was there as part of a work group of 8 people. There was a great buzzy atmosphere, service was excellent. We had a broad range of Starters and main course dishes in our group and everyone agreed the food was great. Desserts are a bit meh... but you don’t go to an Indian restaurant for its desserts.

Outstanding flavours, each dish bursting with different spices. Service is attentive and sleek.

Had a friends get-together on a Tuesday night. Considering it was a Tuesday the ambience/atmosphere was excellent. Very good service and we all thoroughly enjoyed our evening. I will be returning again.

This is the first review I have ever written despite eating out at least twice a week. Doolally is not even worth one star. The food was a disaster. I read the pre-opening hype about Michelin starred menus and Indian chefs. That’s all it was We didn’t see any Indian chefs and the chefs who were present obviously can’t cook Indian food properly or at all. Some of the food was not cooked. Never mind not cooked properly and had to be sent back. Naan breads were dry and over-cooked. Butter chicken and Rogan Josh appear to be one snd the same. Staff appear to be uncoordinated. I could mention a couple of takeaways in Dublin where you would get better, food and service at a fraction of the price. I suggest that the manager and staff visit some the more established Indian eateries to understand quality and good service. And then employ those who can cook to the required standard. The hype created the expectation. The expectation was not met.

Very enjoyable experience with really tasty food

Food was quite good, a nice buzzy atmosphere. Waiter was lovely but we’re waiting ages for a soft drink and then ages to get our table cleared. Maybe understaffed. We were disappointed overall unfortunately
