Don's TV & Repair
Always a great time here. Excellent food and service.
Service was very slow. I asked for a coffee refill (only 1) and never received it. Waited more that 30 minutes for our food. Food was expensive and not special. Music was loud - we appreciated the fact that they did turn it down when asked to do so.
The wait staff was friendly but I was disappointed in our $72 breakfast for 3 people.
Don's Diner is always great! We've been there a number of times and love the burgers, old fashions and boozy shakes. The music is great and so is the service! We'll continue to go back.
The bartender was very friendly and helpful! I tried the weekend shake which has coffee and it was very good!
Fantastic experience! Servers were friendly and knowledgeable! Food was delicious!
Love Don's Diner! Drinks are fantastic as are the boozy shakes not to mention the delicious food! The 80's music is fantastic and the atmosphere is terrific! The staff is always friendly and helpful! Highly recommend!
The food was fantastic as it always has been. The restaurant was packed I am happy we made reservations. Drinks were delicious. The food is inventive but very approachable and the staff makes sure you feel welcome.
My daughter and I love Don’s . She is in love with the non boozy shakes! And the music is well appreciated as well!
Overall, it was good. They were playing some pretty awful music, but the food and service were good. We showed up a little early for our reservation and then they kept apologizing for making us wait, but we sat 3 minutes after our reservation, so we were not upset.
Food is great, boozy shakes are even better! Love this place.
My ten year old and I love coming here for breakfast! Great atmosphere for her and I!
The specialty drinks were very good. The food was good. We sat in the back bar and the bartender seemed overwhelmed. A person in our party didn’t get her fries until we asked three separate times and our meal was basically over. There was a mixup on the bill. Besides that the staff was very nice. I would go there again.
I loved the 10 cent martinis at lunch! The burger was super tasty with the naughty angel sauce! Overall good place to go! Very friendly staff.
Birthday experience for my wife was fun with the grandparents and little kids. Perfect atmosphere and food was delicious.
Had a reservation that we arrived a few minutes early for but had to wait till about 10 minutes after our reservation time to get a table. We were handed a stack of menus & shuttled to a very odd back corner spongy carpeted bar area while we waited for our table. Once we got to our table, we had 2 servers helping us, and it was unclear if each one knew the other was helping us. Several awkward moments & bits of confusion communicating through our meal. We ordered an appetizer for the table to share, but were never given plates to use for our appetizer. The food overall wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t great. Super greasy without a ton of flavor.... also the restroom was gross & in need of some cleaning & tidying up.
This was our first visit, and we probably won’t be making it back anytime soon unfortunately.
This is a great place to go for good food, and great "old fashioned" atmostphere if we must call the 80s old fashioned. They play TV show reruns, have great service, casual but hip ambience and boozy shakes...can't go wrong here, I think. It's great for a date, a group outing (make reservations), or breakfast. I went with a friend, and then we took our husbands back, and will be back again.
Don’s Burger and the pigs in a blanket and biscuits and gravy. Amazing.
People were friendly. Food was great. Very comfortable restaurant with 2 "secret" rooms for more intimate dining etc
Took my parents here for the first time & they absolutely loved it. The service was great & the food was delicious.
Corned beef hash was just okay. Blueberry lemon pancakes were good. I wish they wouldn't have 80s music continuously at breakfast.
Celebrating a birthday. Great food service and our waitress was outstanding. Food was excellent.
The service was wonderful and the food was outstanding!! We got a croc pot of old fashions for the table which was delicious and I ordered the breakfast burrito(it was half off on Thursday nights which was a nice little bonus) we will definitely be coming back!
Super fun lunch!
The biscuits and gravy were very spicy and not advertised as such. The waitress didn’t seem to care that I was uninterested in them because I personally dislike spicy food. We ran out of drink and were never checked on or asked if we would like anything else. Overall, the vibe was great and I would try again, but the service could be better.
First of all, the boozy shakes were the reason why we went and we were not disappointed with the Old Fashion and Notorious PBC shakes! The burgers were good but the french fries were absolutely amazing! The seasoning they use on the fries made them very addictive, which I am not complaining. The waist staff wasn’t too personable but they got the job done efficiently. Definitely going back to try more of the food!
How fun. Awesome food, ambience is outstanding. Creative takes on drinks. Who doesn’t love a cherry koolaid mimosa or a crockpot of old fashioned! Highly recommend
We set at the bar. No one checked to see if our food was OK. I had to call a bartender over because my eggs were undercooked and my order was missing one of the sides. I had the biscuits and gravy. Biscuits were like rubber. They took the meal off the bill. But overall the food value was poor and the staff was completely inattentive
We sat next to a rather large group, which got a little loud. But food was great! We had the crockpot old fashioned which didn't seem like it had much alcohol in it for the price, but it was still tasty.
Not great. No one at our table liked the food we ordered. Nothing makes us want to go back when there are so many other exceptional brunch spots that give you a great experience and food every time.
We were seated and no one told the server so we had to flag down a server. They were very apologetic. My wife’s breakfast sausage was very dry and my frittata was was extremely undercooked. We’ve been there before and will definitely go back. We think/hope this was a fluke.
Food was incredible. The best frittata I’ve had, burgers were delicious, sides, and other breakfast items were very good As well. Bloodies pack a punch! Our waitress was not very attentive, but overall, it was a good experience. Will definitely be back.
Impressed with energizing music at a great volume, projected high, able to enjoy without restricting conversation. The Hopple Popple was very good, the Kale Salad a nice, flavorful and healthy option with plenty of avocado. The orange butter syrup on the pancake tasted very bitter. The roasted cauliflower appetizer was completely flavorless and a whole head vs small pieces. There was pesto drizzled on top, but didn’t flavor the cauliflower. Perhaps marinated in it cauliflower before roasting, and break the pieces apart so they get a bit crispy on edges? Tight to move around.
We made reservations but were pushed to their back room and ate alone as they didnt have the Naughty Angel bar going. There were multiple two person tables in the front and felt very put off being the only people pushed out. When mentioning it on the way out, the hostess that sat us said they had reservations for large parties but there were even more open tables and no large parties seated. Jonathan, our server was a bright spot and did his best to make it a good meal.
It's okay. Drinks are good great atmosphere but food menu is limited...food not brought out together....veggie burger fell apart.
Mac n chz was $16. I’m okay with paying that except it better be handmade pasta for this price. It tasted/looked just like kraft deluxe mac. So disappointing. My husbands burger was the same price. How does that food cost make sense????
Crock Pots of Old Fashions sound like a great idea. My favorite ingredient is brandy. Too bad our Crock Pots didnt have much. No one should be able to drink one of these and not feel it. Plus the bar didnt understand the difference between sour and seltzer. Also, what happened to their bar? Don’s used to have a stocked bar. Our server couldn’t tell us what kind bourbon they had and went on to say, “yeah, we have two kinds...” (Dont they have a full bar in the back too?)
Mediocre fish fry (Cod). Entrees consist of all sandwiches? What’s going on with this place?
All good! Wish you still had shrimp n grits on the menu.
Love the vibe here. Food, music, drinks, service all is good. Eaten here twice, our favorites are pancakes, bloodys, burgers, and 10 cent martinis.
We were very disappointed in just about everything for our Christmas dinner @ Don's Diner which was a big surprise. We had a wonderful meal and the service was superb for Christmas 2018. We didn't hesitate making our Christmas reservation this year and added two additional friends because we told them how great it was.
In 2018 they had a great prime rib and the chef brought out a special appetizer. Our friend called to ask about the Christmas menu and was told they hadn't decided on the special yet. This year the special was a salami sandwich which they were out of by our 6:15 p.m. reservation. They were also out of the vegetarian option.
Our drinks were ordered but took forever to come. The last couple came and ordered their drinks and we still waited.
Our order was taken when we were ready and one of us ordered the egg omelet....not egg white which was repeated for our waiter again when he asked. We waited an unbelievably long time for our food to come and then it was only for half the table and the wrong omelet. Two of us ordered the beef & cheese sandwich. Only one of us got au jus and the 2 salads we got were a contradiction. My salad was humongous and my friends was about 1/3 the size of mine.
The ice-cream drinks we had for dessert were light on the alcohol.
I was embarrassed to have another couple join us after praising the meal we had the previous year and they were so surprised because they had been there for an enjoyable lunch previously at our recommendation.
A truly good restaurant, especially on a holiday, makes a point of serving a great meal with good service & atmosphere.
I don't know what happened to this restaurant except that the positive reviews they got went to their heads. We won't be back & we won't recommend Don's Diner anymore.
My meal was delicious! It is the best biscuits and gravy I've had and I also enjoyed my Old Fashioned Shake. My husband had a little bit of food envy as his burger was okay. His White Russian was a little odd as it seemed the creamer separated and the consistency was off. I hope to come back and try another shake and old fashioned.
