The dining experience here, as always, is excellent. The quality of food, selection and price make this one of Northeast Ohio's best. The staff is exceptional - very knowledgeable, gracious and efficient. I have been here dozens of times, and always look forward to my next return.

The food was great as always. I still laugh at the soup or salad being extra for an entree and their inflated pricing for apps, salads and drinks. But I guess in 2020 they have to gouge a bit to stay open. Service was great and so was the food.

Great service as always. Food is great too! A relaxing holiday lunch for sure!

This was our 5th or 6th visit since the covid restrictions; up until this visit we were quite happy. Unfortunately, not this time. The restaurant was quite busy (holiday diners) and the restaurant did not have enough staff for our room. There was one server and one assistant for the room; they both did an excellent job working the room, but one more server would have been better. One of our food orders was wrong, but we chose not to say anything as the restaurant was busy. Our reservation was at 6pm and we didn't leave until 830; we didn't linger either. We understand that restaurants are having a difficult time during this crazy pandemic, but we did not feel as comfortable dining here as the previous occasions. We'll hold off on recommending this restaurant until after the holidays.

The Pomeroy House has become my favorite restaurant, and Don's Lighthouse is #1 in my wife's opinion. We have been to the Pomeroy house 4 times so far in 2020, and you may see us at least once more in 2020. The food is great, the level of service was first class, and Tammy (our waitress twice) was simply outstanding. I recommend your facility whenever somebody would enjoy dining at a higher level.

We've been going to Don's for several years and most of our experiences have been pleasant. On this occasion, however, the food did not meet expectations. The serving portions were too big; the tuna-ramen dish came out in a 40 ounce bowl (no joke) and was not flavorful. The filet was overdone for medium, and the appetizer (seafood dip) was not well executed. The service was good and they did maintain proper pandemic safety procedures at all times. Also - dining in the house side room is significantly less pleasant than the main dining room. We were seated in the side room and it was really too quiet for us.

The service was amazing! Our waitress had great manners and even gave us a complimentary dessert since we were celebrating our anniversary. Even the leftovers tasted amazing. I had the chicken and potatoes. Both were so moist. The wine was also excellent! All around great experience and can’t wait to visit again!

This was our first experience here. We really enjoyed ourselves and the food was exceptional. We live 1 hour drive away but we intend to make it a regular stop when looking for fine dining. The server was great and even gave us a free desert to take home because it was our first time.

We have been going every year on Black Friday for at least 13 years. Tammy is our favorite waitress and anything with salmon is our favorite food.

Went to our favorite restaurant in the area. Don’s is expensive, but considering the excellence of the food, the extraordinary service, and the ambiance, it’s well worth the price. For appetizers, we had the best calamari we’ve ever had and the crab cakes rival the best from the Chesapeake Bay. Then I had the filet with a side of sea bass. Both literally melted in my mouth. And for dessert a scrumptious chocolate eclair.

The seven of us came to celebrate a 21st birthday. Tables were well spaced, service was attentive and accurate. Everyone enjoyed their meals immensely, but my wife's and my steaks were both overcooked slightly. Mine should have been medium rare - came out medium. Wife, medium came out well. Otherwise superb.

Our waitress was great. She was on top of her game, gave great recommendations on a wine pairing with our food choices. Definitely recommend to others
