Don’s Favorite Foods is a prix-fixe restaurant created by husband and wife team Chef Don Salamone and Kate Laurents in partnership with Sommelier Adam Galbraith.

Our menu changes monthly and highlights dishes Don grew up with as well as those he mastered though working at Michelin-starred restaurants across the country.

From Don: You may find gnocchi like my Ma used to make or Italian sausage modeled after my Godfather’s, Oreste “Ernie” Capone. You might find scallops still in their shells, Oregon pork in the style of Braciole, & popovers I learned to make from my mother-in-law, Terry, because she makes those every Christmas morning... beef tartare, sea urchin, caviar, etc too. These things are all my favorites.

The hospitality and friendliness of the staff was wonderful from the moment we opened the door. The food was delicious. We enjoyed each course—from the popovers, peas, pastas, to the granitas and dessert. The strawberry cake was the best cake my wife has ever had 😀! We enjoyed the 70s decor and music as it transported us back to fond memories of more peaceful times. We don’t dine out often, but what makes Don’s standout is culinary skill and attention to detail combined with passion to make each customer feel special. We are grateful to Don’s for making our wedding anniversary an Ichi-go ichi-e experience! 😀❤️🙏

All I can say is, WOW! This meal was amazing and we will be back for sure. Every course was well thought out and executed perfectly. Highly recommend.

Everything was great. All of the courses were so delicious. The rigatoni was perfection and the pistachio swmifreddo was magical. My husband and I had a wonderful date night.

I loved getting the description of each dish from Don. Adam was a great host and server. Food was delicious!

Another classic evening at Don's! What can I say, we can't stay away. Great wine pairings, cozy atmosphere, amazing food and the best staff. We love seeing Don & team creating magic in the kitchen while Adam slings the cocktails and wine. Don't skip the Eggplant Parmesan if it's on the menu!! (But, everything was a hit.)

I went there tonight for the first time. It exceeded my expectations. Don and his staff were friendly and professional. The food....OMG...it was fantastic. I even asked for more of the fabulous bread and pigged out and ordered a second fantastic dessert. Since I was the first one there, I got to talk to owners Don and Adam. They sat with me for a few minutes and made me feel like family. Every month there is a different menu. I can't wait to go back next month. Jill Davis

Fantastic food. Imaginative wine parings. Wonderful, friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend. An unusual concept but Don and the staff nail it. Have been many times and have always been pleased.
