The staff are very friendly and helpful. Very attentive and knowledgeable. The food is great, special Italian pasta and sauces. The menu is varied and a good list of varied wines, both European and Australian. Interesting salads accompany dishes.

As always, food was absolutely fantastic, took a client who was so impressed, staff were so attentive and he felt quite spoilt by the experience. Living in Sydney I miss the amazing food that Donninis provide, the best Italian food in Melbourne and there is a lot of good ones but not Donninis. Until next time...

Our first time back at this restaurant for quite a few years - had always been a favourite. We did stick to the dishes that we had always loved and we were not disappointed. We will certainly be back and will not wait a few years before returning.

Why is no one dining at Donnini’s? It was quiet in there. But gees, that pasta was some of the best I have ever eaten. Service was attentive. The place could do with a makeover, but you can’t go past the pasta. Better than Florentino’s and up there with Scopri.
