   The food was ok but we had to send the salad back as was old boxed lettuce which included some black slimy pieces. The restaurant never charged us and substituted another kind of salad which looked nice but not what we wanted. We would never ever go back there as they added 20% to the bill (without prior notice) of which the server only got half. We were told the restaurant gave it to other employees in which case clearly they didnt pay them enough Bad policy and deceptive pricing. Don’t support thus restaurant

   Our waiter, Frank, was excellent. Very attentive and made sure everything was as we wished. Food was delicious. The sauce with the eggplant parmesan was absolutely amazing. Salad and pizza were also good. Glad we went and would recommend.

    Our food at Donna Mare was outstanding. The special appetizer of fried artichokes was the best we’ve ever had. The homemade pastas were amazing. Making the evening perfect was our exceptional server. We will be back!

    When holding an event, you should regard your dining quest as what they are, Your dining quest. Would not have put us in the middle of your event. Your event quest we’re very loud and the event music was even worse than the quest’s. Recommend that you tell your dining guests that the event will interrupt your dining pleasure!     Food was great! Beef carpaccio was some of the best we've had. There was a very generous amount of black truffles. The chilean seabass was accompanied by shrimp, mussels, clams and scallops in a tasty light sauce. Seemed like a combination of cioppino with seabass. Husband had the special- braised short ribs, they were excellent. The service was excellent as well. We consider ourselves foodies and we were very pleased.

    Excellent restaurant!!! Went for our anniversary dinner. Seated immediately. The menu was fantastic and the service was second to none. I told the Manager and server that I was totally impressed with the overall restaurant experience. Would strongly recommend to anyone visiting Miami Beach.

    Very good, excellent service, nice ambience. We picked the restaurant originally because we just wanted something to walk to from our hotel. Usually the hotel restaurants right on the main stretch aren’t excellent but this one was very nice. My husband especially enjoyed his linguini with clams

    Really great place for dinner - everyone loved what they had and the service was incredible. The pasta especially tasted homemade and fresh I could t stop saying how great it was. Came with my family including one child who ordered off the kids menu and great value- pasta with chicken and vegetables. If you are considering please go. Also really nice ambiance might be my favorite meal of the trip.

    Everything we ordered was incredible. So delicious! I can’t say enough good things about this place. Really authentic Italian food with great service and well priced. If I lived in Miami I would eat here at least once a week. Highly recommend.

    We were pleasantly suprised at the quality of the food and presentation. I had the branzino which was a whole fish beautifully prepared. All the pasta was homemade and perfectly prepared as stated. The atmosphere was charming and spacious outside. There is foliage to block off collins so you didn’t see the street. The hotel has a fantastic inside bar and lounge area. It was quiet on a Sunday night.

    Service was very slow. We waited about 15,minutes before we got the waiters attention and had to flag him down again to get the check. Food was good but the service charge was maddening as were forced to pay it when service stinks.
