Donna Mare Trattoria
Delicious food...beautiful presentation...attentive staff...
Able to handle large parties with finesse. Handmade fettuccine with Lobster: yum! Pizza with burrata and truffle: wow! Everything we ordered was delicious and beautiful. This one is a keeper! We will be back!
Everything was delicious but pizzas have a bitter taste at the bottom.
Live music, good service, elegant 1940s decor. A very enjoyable setting and good meal. For Miami Beach, not super expensive.
Really good Italian food. Bar is a slow but food was well worth it.
Fantastic food. A great meal
The best meal I've had in a very long time. I dined alone - my server recommended the seafood platter which included fush, shrimp, octopus, baby squid and a scallop over spinach. Perfectly cooked and delicious clean eating. They accommodated my garlic allergy. I also enjoyed the tiramisu. Service was wonderful.
The minute I walked in to this Restaurant I felt like I was home. We were greeted with warmth and shown to our seats immediately. Our waiter had the kindest attitude as well as being very knowledgable about the food preparation and background. The food was wonderful with many flavors. We both loved everthing we ordered. So much that we came back the next evening for dessert . If they had been open for lunch, we would have eaten lunch there.
We came in to celebrate our anniversary as we were out of town for a travel conference together. We noted this in our reservation and the hostess acknowledged the occasion. However, the serve did nothing to acknowledge, no sparkling wine toast, no dessert, nothing. The food was great but I probably wouldn't recommend for a special occasion based on this experience.
Good diner for friends night
Great food and service
Hidden gem with an amazing ambiance. Food was great. Service was great too.
Awesome everything! Highly recommend.
Fantastic dinner! Great atmosphere, great service, and delicious food!
first visit won't be the last...everything from beginning to end was top notch. The hostess was so friendly, bartender, Igor super nice and great cocktail maker. Our waitress Lily was awesome, on top of everything; outgoing and very attentive. The manager stopped by twice to check in (awesome) can't say enough about this restaurant! We were celebrating my husband's bday; the musician sang happy birthday when they delivered the dessert. Very Nice!
We enjoyed our meal. It was a nice way to celebrate my birthday. The portions were large. I had the wild mushroom risotto with shrimp which was delicious. My husband had the chicken Alfredo which was great as well. Everything was freshly prepared and hot. The chocolate soufflé with pecan ice cream was yummy.
Great Italian restaurant that is part of the Cadillac beach resort. The Marinara sauce with the mussels is fabulous. Ask for more bread as you will want to get every drop. The seafood special (shrimp, octopus, branzino, calamari, scallops) is delicious. Pastas are fresh and they have excellent brick oven pizzas. Service is attentive but not rushed. Very European in that regard.
Porciones muy pequeñas. Buen servicio, hay mejores lugares en la zona.
By far the best dinner and service I’ve had in Miami ever!!
The menu screams modern Italian and I was not disappointed even though I'm a traditional Italian foodie. I absolutely loved all of the food and the staff is very attentive.
Lovely restaurant with simple wholesome fare at a reasonable cost
Food was great but service was poor. We waited 30 minutes with no water, bread, or server. We ate at 7:30pm on a Wednesday. Lasagna is fabulous!!! So is pizza!
Wonderful venue. Service was great and manager stopped by table. Pasta was homemade and fish was incredible.
Service was great and there were a ton of amazing food options!
My only negative is actually a big one considering this is an Italian restaurant. Their tiramisu is a fraud! Made with vanilla pudding and chocolate chips! I was so disappointed. It would be better to not offer this dessert if you are not going to do it right. It has always been my favorite and I order it whenever I can. Chocolate chips are a first for me.
The food was delicious
From the hostess to the waiters, nothing but superb service. I brought my 18 year old daughter during a visit to her at her school at University of Miami. The staff was very friendly and helpful on our service. It was a very pleasant experience. The food was fantastic! Would definitely return on my next visit to Mia
Worst lobster I've ever had couldn't cut it or chew it. Asparagus good
Great time, great service, excellent bread
Unfortunately, this place is terribly mismanaged. It was almost like being in a comedy dining there in the evening. So many mishaps and apologies, not just at our table but others as well, so we are sure we were not jinxed. And since we stayed at the hotel where they are located, we gave it another try at lunch with something as simple as a pizza, which they tout because of their wood burning oven. The pizza arrived with a smidge of red sauce and barely no cheese! Basically it was a slab of dough. My husband didn't give up and tried having breakfast there. He ended up walking out and asking that his order be canceled. His cappuccino came to the table promptly but he gave up after waiting over a half hour for breakfast to be served. I am almost embarrassed to say this. We went to the bar for a drink before dining elsewhere and walked out because the bartender disappeared to get us water! No water at a bar? Total disaster.
Casual, airy and comfortable setting with good selection and quality dinner. Average prices for Miami. Would return and save room to try desserts.
Kitchen is verrrry slow. Manager and wait staff are great!
Everything was off. Confusion when we walked in from the Collins Ave Entrance. Server in Training who took our drink orders verbally got it wrong even after repeating it 3 times.
Our server was visibly overwhelmed, almost frustrated.
Green salad with tuna looked unappetizing. Decided not to eat it after a few bites . Ordered tuna on top medium rare (I was asked at what temperature I would like it) and salad arrived with tuna fully cooked cut into fingernail size pieces and mixed into the salad. A royal mistreatment of tuna. Hubby had oysters,no crackers available. Pizza nothing special.
The restaurant manager realized that I am not eating the salad. He is the highlight in their operations. Explained that a new chef is in the process of making changes.
We were not charged for the salad and in addition received a 20% discount which all was the right thing to do.
Lovely restaurant design , stunning bar however drinks fall short due to presentation and execution. Glassware mediocre.
I recommend to let a few weeks pass, have their new chef make changes. Unfortunately I won’t be going back.
Overall good, not busy and very attentive staff
Very nice server. Everything was great!
Great food and excellent service
Mix up with the hostess upon arrival, manager came to the table once seated and fix any concerns we had about our dinning experience. Waiter was awesome and the black truffle Risotto was amazing
Service was excellent the server offered me good advice. Food was affordable and wine also. I had the Risotto and the tiramisu and I recommend these plates!
We arrived 10 minutes early and were told we couldn’t be seated as there were only 2 waiters. The manager was nearly and told us we could eat at the bar, we declined. He then sat us at a table & gave us a 1/2 glass of Prosecco. There was a very large party at a table so they kitchen was backed up. Although the staff was very nice, the restaurant was lovely and the food was good, it was not the best experience to try out this restaurant. Hopefully if we go back it will be a better experience.
