Have been wanting to try this place out for a while now. The atmosphere is amazing, very industrial vibe, and quiet. Great for having conversations with friends and loved ones. Staff was friendly and attentive. Food was fantastic. I recommend the Ripiena, I’ve never had Quail before but it was the most delicious thing I’ve ever tasted. Will be coming back here for all my special occasions and date nights.
Highly recommended. Another great restaurant with a diversified menu to suit everyone’s palate !
A nice find in Midtown. We had the chefs menu. He was very accommodating as one of us ate meat and the other fish. The food was very tasty. We had a cheese ravioli, burrata salad, steak , Branzino fish and mini donuts for dessert. The service was equally good and the dinner was paced well. The only negative is the wine list. Very few wines from the USA. I am not a fan of most Italian wines. I am a California Cab person. The only Cab I saw was $105. They need some moderate price cabs on the menu. I will be back.
We've been here several times and it is always great! Great food and service and I love the interior of the restaurant, it has a high ceiling and open feel that we've come to expect from Atlanta restaurants. We went for our anniversary and I selected the occasion when I made the reservation on open table, and they actually paid attention to that and everyone wished us a happy anniversary and they brought us champagne. Really good experience every time we go there, I would highly recommend.
Donetto had my favorite wine on their list, which is never on other restaurant lists. The pasta is freshly made on site and you can tell. Our waitress, Maggie, was knowledgeable and had great recommendations. We had such a wonderful dining experience!
Awesome! We had a great time celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday. Great food, fun vibes, and wonderful service!
Spectacular as always. This team kills it every time! Our entire party was very impressed. Thank you, Donetto!
Great food and ambiance. Take the pressure off of yourself and go for the chef’s choice family style tasting menu—it’s worth it!
Excellent service and food. I would not have expected anything less from the Indigo Road family.
The food was very very salty. Not many healthy options. If you want more than 2 options for vegetarians this is not the place to go. Not very vegetarian friendly.
Out of the lemon ricotta pancakes- during Cosa Nostra. Such a bummer! But great value for food & drinks, super friendly service
Great food. We’ve come for dinner before and loved it. We had Jesse both times and he’s a great waiter. Such a good attitude! We love the lemon blueberry ricotta pancakes, the house made focaccia bread, and all the pastas are phenomenal. Highly recommend!
Loved the food! Would like to s e different decor. Too similar to every other ATL restaurant.
Second time at Donetto and it was just as great as first time! Food is outstanding, great quality ingredients, service is excellent and its a cool space. Highly recommend.
Awesome spot - best Italian in ATL! The vive, food, and food - all outstanding! A great addition to ATL and downtown area. Clients were impressed. A wow for ATL from the décor to the food to the outstanding service!!
Went on a double date to Donetto and it was great!
We head a great dinner at Donetto. For of us shared the chef's tasting menu. It was fabulous! Innovative, tasty and there was plenty of food for all of us. Highly recommend.
How lovely it was to discover this wonderful restaurant! It couldn’t have been more perfect and I look forward to coming back.
Hospitality was five star. The wine selection and the menu was stellar.
This food was amazing and the service was great. We had a very enjoyable evening doing the tasting menu.
My wife and I were celebrating both our birthdays and a huge business milestone. The staff was incredible, specifically Jessie, our server. Thank you to them all for making our night fantastic.
Very pricy for the type of food you get. Great presentation but it didn’t taste special like the price tag would warrant.
Wonderful food. Service was great as well. Very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu.
He three course meals was absolutely fantastic and I would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone dining at Donneto. The variety, flavors and chef choices and the ability to also pick out items made this the best meal experience I’ve had in a long time and I eat at Atlanta fav and top restaurats quite a bit. Great vibe. And I plan to go eat at the bar on my next visit as I liked that area and thinknthat would be fun.
Brunch with friends was fabulous
Wow! This place is my new favorite Italian place. The buratta appetizer was fantastic and the corn ravioli with shrimp was one of the best things I have had in months. Service had a few hiccups but they are still working out the kinks since they have only been open for 8 months. Food kept getting delivered incorrectly to our table Saturday night and others around us several times and they placed food incorrectly that others had ordered at out table. Overall the experience was outstanding due to the food. I can overlook a bit for good food!
Can’t wait to go back!
Our server Chris was the BEST! The GM was fabulous as well. Great food and drinks and even better service.
Food was fine. The whole roasted fish was flavorful as well as the tagliatelle. Customer service was below par. Regarding the menu, They serve top sirloin steak which is such a tough meat... I didn’t understand why that’s an option on a restaurant like this. The ambience was good. Not sure I would recommend to a friend.
We decided to dine at Donetto because of the positive reviews on Open Table but were disappointed with the experience. While the ambiance is excellent, the food was not good at all. My pasta (quail) was much too salty and the ragu pasta tasted like someone had used ketchup for the sauce - much too sweet and just overall bizarre.
Maybe this was just an off night, but we will not be going back.
Delicious food, fun atmosphere.
Very knowledgeable staff (they know their wines). Valet parking. Overall ... beautiful. Located in an up and coming area of Atlanta. Gorgeous building. Superb food. Outstanding hostess and host. Next time in Atlanta will be back!!!
Friendliest staff I’ve encountered in quite some time! The ambiance is perfect and the food is AMAZING.
Absolutely the best Italian restaurant I have been to in Atlanta.
This restaurant is one of my favorites in Atlanta. I ve tried their Sunday brunch and dinner and both experiences were absolutely wonderful. The menu is appealing and very interesting. It s one of those menus that it s hard to pick one item. You want to try everything. And the food is extremely tasty and well executed.
The wine selection is fantastic. Service is espetacular! Our waiter was knowledgeable about the wines she suggested. She even brought small tastings so we could choose our favorite. Wonderful! Wonderful! A must go! Follow them on Instagram and you will be mouthwatering and eager to book your next visit.
Location is attractive, and the free valet is a plus. Decor and ambience, pleasant. The food and wine is overpriced, given alternatives. Service pleasant but a bit uneven. We ordered a salad to share and no serving utensils came with the salad. We asked for bread and they offered us an appetizer. When asked for plain bread they said it was a dollar extra for crostini. The bread arrived with no butter or olive oil. This is simply cheap. The food was good, but not exceptional. Overall not a bad experience but given many alternatives will most likely not return.
Donetto has great food, atmosphere and service! The three course chef tasting menu is a great option where everyone at the table can share multiple items from the kitchen in ample quantities.
Best service I've had in quite a while. Very friendly, very knowledgeable very attentive! One of the best dining experiences we've had.
Food and atmosphere were lovely as always. Service was friendly and well focused. We shared small plates and found everything delicious.
