Absolutely nailed it with the steaks, Dundee has been screaming out for a steak house for years and now we've finally got one and its excellent! Special mention for the onion rings, never tasted anything like it, batter crumbles in your mouth, 10/10

The restaurant is lovely. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The food was gorgeous. The only negative is that the steaks are quite pricey. All in all we had a lovely experience at Don Padrino and would highly recommend it.

The experience felt chaotic, we seemed to be forgotten about after we sat down and it took a long time between meals. Also, it seemed odd not to be asked for drinks after taking our order. Staff were pleasant and apologetic about the situation, no complaints here. The room feels echoey and every noise sounded harsh and amplified at times. We were in for 2h for starters and mains, but had ran out of time for dessert by then. Starters were good, steaks were amazing. We would likely come back, but maybe wait a while to allow the staff to settle in and let the workflow improve.

Fantastic steaks , langoustines and the black pudding and mushroom are amazing . Service was excellent by very attentive and friendly staff. Great to have a top steak venue in Dundee.

I had a 10oz clubhouse steak and dauphinoise potatoes. The steak was tough and I could scarcely cut it with the steak knife provided. The dauphinoise potatoes were a gloopy oily mess probably prepared some time in advance.

Food, service, cocktails were very good, however the market menu was very limited. choice of 2 starters and 2 desserts but really only one main choice unless you wanted a sole between 2. I hope to see the lunch menu increased even 3 options for each course would be good.

Steak was cooked exactly as requested and tasted delicious!! Loved the truffle cheese cauliflower side dish, and could have easily eaten a whole one to myself, it was that good. Liked that we could choose a few different sides to share, all of which were scrummy 😊 Was offered a complimentary glass of Prosecco as we were celebrating my sisters birthday (nice touch). Dessert has to get a mention also! The sticky toffee pudding was to die for! All our plates were left utterly clean. If it had been etiquette to lick my plate, I would have. 🤭 Will definitely return to this restaurant.

Lady who served us was very nice , the food was good with the exception of the crispy chicken wings which were a bit too crispy and were difficult to eat without getting messy , so I will know better for next time ! Everything else was hot,well cooked and tasty , we shall return to eat here again .
