   On this evening we were fortunate to be present to participate in a 5 course meal hosted by Chef. Michael Mina. The food was nothing short of spectacular. In particular the pasta and lobster, the fish, and the dessert.

   We celebrated my wife’s birthday here and the service was great. The staff described the dishes perfectly and had great recommendations.

   First the music outside the restaurant was way too loud and playing rock music for a nice sit down meal felt inappropriate. Service was excellent but the food came out lukewarm to cold. Some dishes, the food was blah and nothing special. At $50 an entree it should be much better. We told the restaurant and they did good by us by comping a bottle of wine and taking 15% off.l including removing an entree that was not good. This was the second time here and it was a much better experience the first time.

   We arrived and were given a gorgeous seat looking out into the sunset. We ordered appetizers and drinks, and service was friendly and quick. We got our main courses, and this is when the meal went downhill. The mains were cold and not very tasty. They did then bring out desserts for us / a birthday dessert for me which was very nice, but we were really looking forward to our main courses coming out hot snd fresh. Probably wouldn’t come back, but the atmosphere is beautiful.

   Great view, food over priced for what uou get- but it’s the waldorf. Staff tried to tell us tip wasn’t included and it was. I still gave him more than the 15% but i won’t be back

   Don Manuel’s is always fantastic! The setting, the food, the service are all top level. Really enjoyed the live entertainment during dinner.
