   Went out for a birthday dinner with a couple of girlfriends. Service was fantastic. Seating on patio was easy. Restaurant was not crowded. It was a Wednesday night. Caramelized brussel sprouts were fantastic. The addition of fish sauce was brilliant. Wouldn’t have thought of that. Kim chi fries were delicious and decadent. My friends loved the Bun salad with tofu. Large serving with beautiful presentation with enough for leftovers. I had the Tonkatsu Ramen and was not impressed. The broth was a bit bland. I had the tomato flavor bomb and it did not go well with the ramen. The noodles and egg were cooked perfectly. Next time, I would try the Korean Ramen.

   If you have a passion for Ramen and some great combination bowls, this is the place to go. My daughter is the expert on all things Ramen - nationwide, she has rated every place, and although the selections are small - she couldn't get over how tasty this bowl was. Great experience.

   We tried Domo Ramen on a Tuesday for date night when all Ramen bowls are $10. We figured that was a good price to try something new. We love the location in NE. Our server seemed more interested in appearing "cool" then providing good customer service. We had to wait for anyone to come to our table (seat yourself), he pointed to the menu where the Ramen is listed and said "I'm assuming you're here for the $10 Ramen, let me know if you have questions" and walked away. He did not tell us about the apps, drinks or featured Ramen and he didn't even take our drink order. We flagged him down to order an app and then again when we ordered our Ramen. The wings are nothing special; crispy with spices, green onions & fish sauce. No accompanying sauce to dip them in. I had the featured "Tonkotsu" Ramen. It was Luke-wam, not hot & steamy like ramen should be and the pork belly was gray, not appealing. Taste was just ok. My boyfriend had the Korean ramen. It was warmer then mine with a sweeter broth with shredded meat. Again, just okay. Noodles were al dente. Neither of them had very much flavor, pretty bland. We may go back again on a Tuesday to try again since it's in the neighborhood, cheap & quick but there is better Ramen in Mpls out there!
