A little piece of Rome or Florence tucked away over in Leith, Cafe Domenico serves up authentic cuisine, just how it is done back in Italy. With traditional red and white table cloths and rustic wooden decor, this quaint cafe and restaurant is full of charm, winning over the hearts of Edinburgh’s aficionados of Italian cuisine since it was established in 1988. Tuck into a classic pasta dish like the spaghetti with mussels, squid, chili and olive oil or some meat or seafood dish like the chicken breast stuffed with butternut squash and goats’ cheese, wrapped in cured ham and served with potatoes and wilted spinach. You’ll find Cafe Domenico located on Sandport Street – book a table and head on over!

            Sadly our meal at Domenicos didn't happen, supposedly because of an error with booking through opentable. So I would recommend you don't use this system to book.

            Excellent food and ecellent, friendly service. Lovely atmosphere. I'm italian and the pasta does not disappoint.
