So delicious - can not wait to go back!
Ate 4 different antipasti items - kale was incredible.
Spent a wonderful evening with friends and family. Service was similar to what I have experienced in Europe. Not rushed allowed to dine not just eat. Menu was very interesting . One in our group had the rabbit and pasta. Excellent. I had the duck ragu and pasta also excellent. Would definitely return.
The butternut squash pizza was on a par with a gourmet pizza we had in Crested Butte at Secret Stash. It was a fig pizza and Domenica's Butternut Squash pizza was every bit as good.... if you are in to gourmet pizzas. LOL
Dinner before Phantom of the Opera. Service a little slow bu food was good. No time to finish the lasagne (which was good).
Delicious as always!
Has gone downhill, although prices have risen. Black ink pasta is now with thick, overly heavy/chewy pasta, instead of delicate angel hair pasta—big mistake. The lasagna is heavy and undistinguished.
The place was nice and our server was very attentive. The food was good - nothing to complain about. Prices weren’t crazy either. You can bring your kids and have a nice bite of their favorite items or try the squid ink pasta. Go early if you have kids/ the place gets crowded
They never cleared appetizer dishes and waited a while for bill. Also seated in a tight uncomfortable corner table.
The ambiance is lovely and since it's in the Roosevelt Hotel, perfect for a nightcap at the Sazerac Bar. The roasted cauliflower with whipped feta is absolutely amazing. Loved the lamb meatballs appetizer and you cannot go wrong with any of the pasta dishes!
The best Italian food in New Orleans, reasonable prices, outstanding quality of service. Great bar options and handcrafted cocktails. At the last minute we added a 5th to our reservation, and they accommodated us in an instant.
Appetizers were great. Dessert was fantastic. The rest of the meal was mediocre.
Solid restaurant with amazing homemade bucatini 😋
Pasta was excellent. Prices are very reasonable..
The cauliflower was wonderful and the lasagna good, however, I could hardly hear myself think due to the high noise level. I wouldn’t rush back there :(
We’ve dined here countless times before and always have an incredible experience, but on this occasion the Domenica staff truly went above and beyond. The service was impeccable and the hostesses and wait staff were all unbelievably accommodating! One of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. Thank you for such a memorable evening!
Excellent pizza !
Happy hour specials
Great place to have lunch or dinner
Nice place. Great food. The Ouzo pizza was amazing. Salads and pasta dishes very good. Will certainly return.
Excellent experience! Great food, attentive staff!
Food and service great. They could expand the single glass wine list
Menu was Italian. Pizza excellent. Had the best short ribs and polenta ever—tender with great flavor. Bustling place with somewhat indifferent servers but I would definitely recommend for the food.
Wonderful dinner! Wish I could have eaten it all!
Fabulous octopus dish! This restaurant is just inside the Roosevelt Hotel and very easy to get into.
It is a very nice place!
The food is great, specially the pizza that ressembles a lot the real italian one!
I recomend it!
Excellent service. Delish homemade pasta. Located inside the Beautiful Roosevelt hotel. Check out the upscale gift shop next door as well!
Amazing food! Great service. Will be back again.
Great service. Food was delicious!
Pizza could have been cooked a little more. Crust was moist and was not hot. Service could have been better....especially since the establishment was not busy.
I think the kitchen was having an off day. The pizza was mushy and the pizza sauce was awful
When in doubt Domenica is the sure fire go to. Great consistent Italian eats
I'm a big fan of Domenica's pizza, and this time I also tried the cocktails and dessert, which were A+!
Living 2 hours east of New Orleans My husband and I visit New Orleans frequently. We eat at Domenica quiet often and every year I make a reservation for 10-14 people 2-3 months in advance for pre rock and roll marathon dinner. I made a reservation in December 2017 for March 3, 2018 at 6:30pm for a party of 14. I was told in December that new rules for reservations of 10 or more require 2 tables and since we have 14 people in our group we had to get a table for 10 and a table for 4 but we that we would be in the main dining area next to each other. Reservations were confirmed by Restaurant and myself on 3 different occasions before arriving at Domenica. However, when our big party arrived on the date we were told the owner “John Besh” called in a special request for a party of twelve for main dining room so basically the table we were suppose to get got 2 end chairs to accommodate 12 instead of 10 and was given to people who did not make an advanced reservation but who knew “John “Besh” the owner!!!
Already upset I ordered from my heart the squid ink tagliatelle a dish I had had several times and the latest being a week ago. The waitress informed me that they changed the dish slightly and now it was being made with a spiral pasta. That seemed to be the case with a few of the other dishes people ordered as well. The squid ink pasta was very disappointing as was the rabbit and pasta dish one of my running peeps ordered.
I think it’s time for a new pre rock and roll race Italian dinner restaurant for 2019!!! There are too many choices in New Orleans to be treated so unfairly especially when the quality of the food is suffering.
We were there for Happy Hour and the value was outstanding. Food was delicious and the drinks were great. Cool vibe
Pizza was to die for and service was excellent
Job well done.
Loved the atmosphere, service was great and cauliflower appetizer was fantastic! We will be back
We went for a late lunch - shared soup, a pizza, and a small pasta. All were excellent.
I come every time I’m in New Orleans! It’s great.
In NOLA for just two days with my son and tried getting table on Sunday at 5 and there was too long a wait. Went back next day for lunch at 1. So glad we did. Wonderful service from J.P. Outstanding lasagna. Maybe best we've ever had. Son had it, too. A beautifully decorated yet simple place, warm and comfortable. Outstanding in every way!!
Great atmosphere and vibe.
I found this great spot before my arrival in New Orleans. After checking in my hotel, I went to Domenica for lunch. Great waiter and wonderful service. I liked it so much, we went for dinner on Sunday evening It was delightful. Barely any food left between the four of us. The roasted cauliflower with whipped feta is a must try!
