While the menu is rooted in tradition, our chefs focus on elevating Italian ingredients and classic flavors to create modern classics, adapted for the contemporary palate of New Orleans. The fresh pastas made by hand daily, roasted vegetables, meats and Napolitano style pizzas, all prepared in the restaurant’s iconic wood oven, are perfectly complemented by custom-brewed beers, seasonal craft cocktails and an Italian-focused wine list.

Not what it used to be. Impact of Covid obvious in poor staff training. Runner brings next meal segment and tries to put it down on top of uncleared appetizer dishes.
Replacement bread with meat & cheese appetizer is terrible. Dominica should bring back the puffed pizza bread.
Unfortunately, it will no longer be on must list when visiting NOLA
We ordered the roasted cauliflower which was great, the pasta not so much it was the bucatini which wasn’t so good, the sauce was not very tasty and sour. We also ordered a margarita pizza with extra vegetables and pizza was good but got charged four dollars extra for barely anything extra at all. Would I recommend this place… no. Try it yourself and see but for our taste it was OK as far as the food goes.
A wonderful way to end our visit to NOLA. The bread! The lasagna! The service! Just a great experience.
not as good as it used to be. the food was disappointing. tnot sure if it was the time, or covid, but the menu seemed different.
A very nice place. Food was delicious especially the cauliflower appetizer! We enjoyed our time and we will definitely go back.
Awesome food, great service and ambiance... will be back!!
The food was delicious!
We had a wonderful meal, starting with outstanding for caccia bread and olive oil, then the arugula salad and the red shrimp appetizer, finishing with a margarita pizza and the rigatoni. Our waitress was phenomenal! There was a noisy crowd at the bar, which made me wonder if they could do something better for the acoustics, but overall everything was top notch.
The food was very mediocre, pizza was cold, meatballs and pasta underdone. Service was very good.
Loved everything about it. So good!
Dominica was my favorite NOLA restaurant, until my latest experience with them. I rated the restaurant a consistent 5 stars over the past 6 years, but now, the quality of the entrees we were served resulted in a rating of 2 stars for the food. We had a party of five people that were served pasta dishes that were cold and my Arrabbiata sauce, which is supposed to be spicy, tasted plain and acidic. The manager apologized and sent us 2 desserts, that I told the server we didn’t want, but they were sent anyway. I’m very disappointed to give this review, because when I say it was my favorite restaurant, I can tell you that every time we had plans to eat there, I was very excited about it.
Domenica is consistently outstanding in terms of food, value and ambiance. The pizzas are as close to Neapolitan pizza as you can find in the city.
Meatballs-Great! Cauliflower with feta dip and Brussel sprouts wonderful. You won’t be disappointed.
It was great! Service was great, food excellent!! Had a great time!!
Cory our server was terrific. He made it a 5-star review.
We had a great time, amazing food and even better service. Thank you.
We did not have reservations, but were able to be seated as walk-ins. It had great ambiance and great food.
Food was excellent. Ordered two pizza’s and an app. First visit was a couple years ago. We enjoyed it so much we wanted to visit again. We were not disappointed.
Having been to New Orleans several times, we have come to expect great customer service and that southern hospitality that is so common with many of the restaurants here. That being said, we felt the hostess staff and wait staff at Domenica could have been friendlier, to be honest. They were all very curt- beginning with no greeting from the hostess who after checking us in, turned her back and walked away. It wasn’t until I realized she had menus in her hand, that we were being led to our table. The server came to the table, began pouring water without saying a word and it wasn’t until i asked if she was our server, that she responded. She offered no explanation of menu. We had to ask all the questions. I thought maybe the restaurant, since it was our first time there, was a “laid back, stuffy” kind of place, but it seemed other servers were more engaging. Our food (meatballs and Brussels sprouts for appetizer and a margarita pizza) was delicious. We didn’t order a second round of drinks or dessert, as is usually customary when we visit NOLA restaurants, mainly because the vibe was kinda standoffish and we opted to take ourselves elsewhere to end our evening.
This is a jewel. Very fun for a date night or dinner group. Food was creative and delightful. We will be back!!
Always an amazing meal!
Pizza was great. Rigatoni was bland. Service was great.
Do not eat here if you want a nice quiet dinner. The noise level is a headache. Do not eat here if you want a speedy dinner, the wait between starters & main dish is unbelievable. The food is good, not great. Service is painfully slow.
Delicious as always.
Excellent Italian food. Pizza and roasted Cauliflower are outstanding. Charcuterie board is exceptional.
Food was subpar and difficult to understand what I was ordering. Variety on menu was lacking options. The restaurant was very loud, even from outside in the hall. Not a romantic place if visiting hotel for a weekend get away.
Food was good. Pizzas are big and enough for 2-3 people. Cocktails are very good
Great food, great service, great ambiance!
The service was drawn out and the drinks were mediocre. We ordered the cauliflower, Brussels sprout and a cheese selection. The cauliflower was very bland and the Brussels sprouts were burned. The cheese was good but the bread was far from Italian style. We were going to order entrees but decided not to after the appetizers. Very disappointing experience after trying to eat here for 2 days. Definitely do not recommend this restaurant.
We love this place. Everything is consistently good. The bathroom situation that they share with the Hotel is inconvenient.
Great food and service.
The sauce on my pasta had a very unappealing taste, the pasta was over cooked and the cake was extremely dry. Our server was most apologetic. I rarely complain at restaurants, but I could not choke this meal down.
Outstanding food & service!
Food was phenomenal. Well lets just say the pizza was, we ordered 4 different kinds and they all were good.
Excellent authentic menu! Never disappointed. Solid 10 from start to finish!♥️
We popped in for salads and Pizza, both were great!
Corey our waiter was amazing! The food, drinks and pizza were great as usual. You can’t go wrong with the roasted cauliflower or any of the pizzas.
Great menu. You will have to visit more than once!
I had the margherita pizza and dinner salad. The pizza was served hot and the crust was thin just like I like it. Salad with the marinated red onions and lemon vinaigrette dressing was refreshing. Perfect for a light meal. The person with me ordered pasta and the Brussels sprouts. Domenica was very accommodating to modify her pasta dish that was not on the menu. The Brussels sprouts were prepared perfectly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I will definitely return whenever I’m visiting New Orleans.
