While the menu is rooted in tradition, our chefs focus on elevating Italian ingredients and classic flavors to create modern classics, adapted for the contemporary palate of New Orleans. The fresh pastas made by hand daily, roasted vegetables, meats and Napolitano style pizzas, all prepared in the restaurant’s iconic wood oven, are perfectly complemented by custom-brewed beers, seasonal craft cocktails and an Italian-focused wine list.

The bartenders acted like we were a bother to them from the second we sat down. Horrible stand of fish and rude. Our food was served burnt. The server should look at what they are serving before it leaves the kitchen. This used to be one of our favorite places we told all our friends about. We will never be back.
The smoked Beet salad and the Truffle Agnolotti were excellent. The lasagne was enough for 2 people it was an excellent meal.
Blaming it on post-pandemic struggles to get momentum back. Seems to be struggling with inexperienced wait and kitchen staff. Issue with not clearing table and not providing needed tableware - plates for appetizers, spoons to serve appetizers, for pasta and maybe to split huge portion of lasagna. Issues with poorly prepared risotto - watery not creamy. Server was not engaging and provided minimum level of service. Coffee at end of meal was luke warm at best. Servings are way too big, a lot of food went to waste. Must say lasagna and tagliatelle were amazing. Need to try again after we get past the pandemic recovery phase.
Redfish didn’t have a good taste. A man walking by outside stopped and grabbed himself. He decides to shake his private area at us. It wasn’t a pleasure sitting by the window seeing that. You may want to get shades for those windows.
Great food, great service, great value.
Service was awful. Our waitress did not even return after our appetizers to take our order . She came to us an hour later, and never even acknowledged that we had been sitting there waiting with menus in our hands . We still never ordered entrees and she brought us our bill totally disregarding the fact we had not eaten a meal. We left and never got to eat dinner . Absolutely disappointed .
Extremely courteous staff , food was great & our table by the window was perfect !
Wonderful experience! Thanks for a wonderful meal!
We had the most amazing night at Domenica last night. The food and drinks were outstanding but the service was the best we’ve had in a very long time and one of the best parts of our night. Nikki took care of us and was the most wonderful and friendly server, very knowledgeable of the menu and guided us to the best choices. Her boisterous and genuine laugh was the highlight to our meal. Domenica is very lucky to have her on their staff. We are in New Orleans frequently and will definitely be back.
The absolute best lasagna I have ever had! Impeccable!
Great place for a family birthday celebration.
Was such a delicious dinner to enjoy with the family from beginning to end! The happy hour drink price was awesome!
Outstanding food and very attentive service! Can't wait to come back.
Our waitress was attentive and more so, the food, oh so delicious. we would go back again when we are in New Orleans!
Food was absolutely delicious and the staff really went above and beyond for us. 10/10.
The portions are very small. We got the tomato appetizer & it was 1 baked Roma tomato. Dinner portion wasn’t impressive, & desserts rather limited. Taste & flavor were great, but rather pricey for the amount of food you actually get.
They made our anniversary extra special. We will be back!
Great swordfish and roasted cauliflower. Bread was awesome and so were the cocktails. Cory is by far the best server with the most personality there.
Food and service was excellent, definitely would recommend this restaurant.
Nick is a great waitress........
Loved it. It was great being somewhere that staff was allowed to work unmasked. It was so nice to see smiling faces!
The food was great as always as was the service.
Really loved Domenica! Ambience fantastic! The decor was also spot on!
This place was quite a bit more classy than I expected. Classy in dress and overall setting as well... I wore some dark jeans and a button down but felt a little underdressed. My date work jeans and heels and she felt the same way. It’s more than we expected. Probably should have worn a little dressier shirt and she felt she should have worn something a like a little black dress. Food was great. Nice wine selection. Overall a very nice little place for a date night. We just thought we’d dress down a bit since it was Italian food... thinking we’d over eat lol. Salute.
Hands down the best pizza I have ever eaten. The meat and cheese board was so beautiful and delicious! If your looking for Italian in Nola, this is a must! Richard goes above and beyond to make your experience exceptional.
Staff friendly. A little to loud for business meetings. Food amazing
They offer two sizes for the pasta entrees which makes it easier to get several several things to sample.
Good price point for entrees and wine.
Outstanding service! The food is beyond amazing! A must-go when visiting New Orleans.
Food was very cold and they ran out of so many things in the menu.
Food was good. Service was horrible. Extremely ....slow. Wait staff is in high demand and we clearly got a rookie.
Great food but it is a large room that was noisy. We had to wait nearly an hour for our entree but waiter Craig and manager were extremely apologetic and tried to accommodate us with extra bread and a dessert
Loved Domenica! Food was excellent! Highly recommend roasted cauliflower and meatball appetizer. Pizzas were great! Risotto yummy. Highly recommend banana dessert. Nice cocktail and wine list.
Best service ever, even during a busy holiday weekend. Spot on recommendations.
Beat pizza and Brussels sprouts I’ve had in the city. Very nice interior and decor. Friendly staff
Great food and ambiance!
It’s sad for me to report how unpleasant our experience was. With all of the food we ordered, you would expect only a minimum of the dishes would be unliked by anyone at the table. In our case, none of the food was good, outside of the desert. The flavors all seemed to be out of sorts and it was a consensus of our group that each dish failed in that regard. I don’t like to criticize servers unless there is some severe issue that takes place, so I won’t do that here. I understand the difficulty of hospitality work and any day can be the day someone’s effort is off. I’ll leave that as my only comment. But as an overall experience I can’t recommend this restaurant on any level. It’s reputation is likely based on its early history. It’s current iteration has a long way to go to live up to its past.
Domenica was very upscale at very affordable prices. Every pizza was delicious and came quickly
The food was delicious! The service was not great.
The ambience and decor is tasteful and the food and service was great. Our server Cynthia was really nice and knows her job! Our steak was to die for 👍🏾
A wonderful surprise. The real deal with a chef from Campania. Italian not Italian- American. Two of us split a small order of squid ink tagliatelle, the best I have eaten, including in Italy. We shared a small order of the lasagna acclaimed by Food Network. The green homemade pasta sheets covered a tasty pork ragu. Each of us had a glass of wine and a cocktail and the bill before tip was under $100. We loved the space and had a pleasant server. What I find! We shall return.
Service was excellent! Food was very good...don’t skip the salumi and fromagi course! The spicy n’duja and the goat cheese with paprika were incredible.
The food was fabulous! Our waitress Cynthia was sensational. We had a wonderful dinning experience.
