Our meal was great, the service was awesome and we felt safe.
It's not just the food or service - though both were exceptional. It was how fast we were seated upon arrival and the distance between us an other guests that made the experience great. We were able to, at least for the moment, balance having a real human experience with other people that evening while also feeling safe and our space respected. It was just a really good experience - professional staff, good food, dope atmosphere.

I feel like you can tell it’s an overall good experience when you stand to leave and realize you were there for over 2 hours. The food was amazing and the servers were so personable that we just wanted to stay all night. 10/10 recommend the cauliflower and the hazelnut pudding dessert. My expectations for domenica are obviously always very high and they were met/surpassed again !!

Upbeat, chic metropolitan atmosphere. Noise level moderate to high. Efficient wait staff but nothing over the top. Menu is not expansive but solid selection of pasta dishes and pizzas. Charcuterie board is pricey, but excellent mix of items. Famous for the roast cauliflower but I find it to be watery and not roasted long enough. The dip of whipped feta cheese is excellent though. Nice selection of mostly italian wines. I will go again and would recommend it to others. As a side note, I have a 12 year old who isn't a foodie but he really loves this place. He likes their pizza and the lasagna.
Start your evening with a Sazerac cocktail at the Roosevelt Sazerac bar. Then continue to Domenica's for a great bottle of Italian Marso Montepulciano d'Abruzzo red. The brick oven pizza and the gulf shrimp risotto was outstanding. The service was very good.

Absolutely positively fantastic experience. The charcuterie board was unbelievable and the roasted rabbit tagliatelle was one of the best dishes of pasta I’ve had. Could not recommend more for a date night.

Everything was very good! We started with salumi and cheese, Brussels sprouts, and the meatballs and polenta. All were outstanding. Then we had the smoked duck ravioli, the tagliatelle, and a roasted pork pizza, which were also outstanding. They have an excellent beer and wine selection as well. So nice to be back at Domenica!
Our go-to restaurant when in Nola!! This is one of the best restaurants we’ve ever been too! Service is always excellent and staff always explain the menu!! But the food is so authentic and the best Italian around!! This is a must when in the city!! We’ll be back soon!
My guest ordered the Strip steak which was delicious and beautifully presented. I ordered the Marinara pizza which came out not hot and not crisp. Annie replaced it quickly and it was fine, except for the white anchovies were a little old and did not taste right and the marinara sauce was a tad too tart.

I would recommend the tagliatelle with rabbit and mushrooms any day!! The bucatini all' amatriciana were delicious too; but the tagliatelle were the best!

I went to Domenica as a project for my blog. I had never been to the restaurant before but always wanted to. It was incredible! I got the roasted cauliflower, gulf shrimp risotto, and affogato. So unfortunate. I have been here many times in the past and it was always great service and food. I understand that during Covid we all need to be empathetic and flexible, but that shouldn't mean lazy service. We waited ten minutes before alerting the hostess our server still hadn't been by, and then we waited another five or so. The server apologized and then offered a horrible excuse that made us more upset. We were hungry and hoped the food would make up for the poor start to our dining experience. The manager never stopped by, and the restaurant had more than enough team members to handle the light crowd.
We ordered an appetizer and two small pasta dishes. The amount of salt in all three had us guzzling down copious amounts of water. I love salt, and my fellow diner is a smoker that usually adds salt. Whomever, was cooking was either an extremely heavy smoker or not tasting their products.
I will not be going back there. I used to love this place when I needed some interesting Italian, and will be taking my eating elsewhere.
