While the menu is rooted in tradition, our chefs focus on elevating Italian ingredients and classic flavors to create modern classics, adapted for the contemporary palate of New Orleans. The fresh pastas made by hand daily, roasted vegetables, meats and Napolitano style pizzas, all prepared in the restaurant’s iconic wood oven, are perfectly complemented by custom-brewed beers, seasonal craft cocktails and an Italian-focused wine list.

The roasted cauliflower was amazing and also the meatball appetizer. Really enjoyed our evening at Domenica.
Great Experience because of our waitress ❤️From the cauliflower, pizza, pasta and fish 🙌🏻Mmmm....yum
Reservations at 6pm to make 8pm concert at Saenger. Wish we could have come earlier for the happy hour savings. We ordered a2 meat and one cheese charcuterie boards and it was wonderful. Love the chicken liver pate. Served w a puffy beignet like bread. For entree we split the Gorgonzola, pecan, speck and honey pizza. Amazing. There were so many things I’d love to try I will surely be back. But for happy hour, can’t beat 1/2 off pizza.
Had a wonderful lunch with great service from our waitress. Recommend it highly!
Our food and service was excellent. We will be back.
I really feel like this is worth telling about because of the predicament that I found myself in. Recently I was put on a very strict diet by my doctor: no gluten no grains no carbs and no dairy. Out of a party of five I am the only one with dietary restrictions. Prior to my diet Domenica was already on my favorites list but I was a little hesitant about what I would be able to eat for this special occasion celebration. My server was extremely accommodating and I explain to her what my situation was. She said she would speak to the chef and they would put together something custom for me. She asked what my preferences were and came back with a description of something delicious. When my dish was served I was pleasantly surprised to find shrimp with asparagus zucchini red bell peppers cherry tomatoes she said she would speak to the chef and they would put together something custom for me. She asked what my preferences were and came back with a description of something delicious. When my dish was served I was pleasantly surprised to find an amazing concoction of shrimp with asparagus zucchini red bell peppers and cherry tomatoes. So I’m just very appreciative of the extra mile they went to be accommodating to my situation.
Wonderful food and great waiter
Server was attentive and engaging. Gave recommendations for the menu and what to do afterwards.
The meatballs with polenta was to die for - so delicious! The pizza, however, was mostly crust and the squid ink pasta was quite bland... a bit disappointing. We do like the atmosphere and wine, but probably will not be going back very soon.
Wonderful food, delightful service!
Food is good. Excellent service
we were given the check as soon as we finished food, even without us asking for it , which was strange!!
but otherwise, all was fine
Our first time here and we enjoyed it a lot.
Great food, service and ambiance. Will definitely eat there again next time I am in NOLA.
Food was ok. Service was horrible. My wife and I had the roasted cauliflower for an appetizer. After we had eaten our appetizer out waiter never cleared our table. So when they brought out our main entree’s they set a hot pizza right in front of my wife on top of the dirty plates from our appetizer. It almost slid onto her lap. Finally our waiter came over to clear our table. Never keep us with filled drink glasses. Not a pleasant experience. The manger was very nice and did adjust our bill.
Always a great time at Domenica!! The food was great!
Excellent service (Raquel). The food was very good.
Excellent food. Great service. Each dish including the appetizers were excellent. Very well done and perfect for the palette. The drinks menu could use a wider range of selections. Understand they are trying to promote local beers for example - which is a great thing. But offering choices given the quality of the restaurant is important. Overall excellent dinner. Would recommend.
The food was good but the service was horrible. Our waitress was clearly discriminating based on our age from the start. She only came up to us every once in a while to refill our water without asking how our food was. The other tables she was serving, which were older adults, she went up to them multiple times to check in with them. Overall this place was discriminating against our party’s age. Very unprofessional
We are locals and eat here often! It’s nice to see how the menu changes seasonally. Don’t be afraid to try something new or sounds different. I got the squash blossoms today and loved them .
Loved the food, atmosphere and server! Great experience and we will be back!
Anniversary and vacay
We arrived for our reservation and was told our table was not ready if we wanted to have a seat on the bench or go to the bar and have a drink. We went to the bar and tried to order a drink. Some seats opened up and bar tender said to give him a minute. Then 2 other party’s walked up and he asked them for there drink order totally ignoring us!! He served them and walked off!! We then went back to go sit on the bench and gave up on drinks!!!
The food was amazing. There were just two of us so we got several things and split it. Did not have a bad thing on the menu! I would suggest to everyone to get the cauliflower, to die for!!
Reliably good. Lump crab over squid ink pasta is a favorite of mine. Glad they offer half portions of pasta, because it’s so rich it would be impossible to eat a large portion. Didn’t love the squash blossoms. Battered and fried doesn’t allow you to experience the squash blossom.
Waited 15 minutes for a cocktail and waiter never brought the promised bread.
Raquel was fantastic, wine was delicious, kale was excellent as always. Great pre-theater dining.
Have been there numerous times. Great place, especially after an event at the saenger. Pleasant, good food, nice experience.
Domenica never disappoints. Best place to meet for a pre-theater supper. The bursts and shaved peaches was divine. Great pizza, pastas, small plates, and that cauliflower! Friendly wait staff are great at getting you in and out or letting you linger in peace, depending on your schedule, not theirs. *
Lunch was amazing! The pizza, meatballs and roasted cauliflower were all fantastic. Domenica is one of my go to restaurants when visiting Nola.
I was concerned that there had been a loss of quality in light of the recent problems with the restaurant group but the food was delicious and the service excellent. I enjoyed my pasta dish. Very interesting combinations and fresh pasta can't be beat. The thin crust pizza was excellent even though they removed my favorite pizza (wild mushrooms and egg) from the menu. Hopefully it is just off rotation for now.
We enjoyed our dinner at Domenica but found it a bit pricey, particularly the drinks. We had the meatballs as an appetizer, which were tasty. My husband had the lasagna, which was delicious but way too large a portion. Other pasta dishes offered a small and a large option, and it would have been nice if the lasagna did too. I had the tagliatelle with rabbit and porcini. Very rich sauce and very little if any rabbit, though I did identify the porcini. For dessert, the affogato was a nice treat, but they were out of biscotti so it was just gelato and espresso. Our waitress, Holly, was excellent and very friendly. When I used the restroom and realized it was a Waldorf property and saw the business function taking place down the hall, the inflated drink prices made sense to me. All in all, food is good, but if you're looking for down-home Italian food like Grandma made, this isn't the place for it.
Service was amazing!! Authentic Italian. So delicious
Theatre date night
One of our favorites. I have an infant daughter and the staff always go above and beyond for us. Gracias! Keep it up.

Chilled asparagus soup and squash blossoms were outstanding!
I expect better considering the Italian level it was supposed to be.
The quattro formaggi pizza came with tomato (which is not supposed to be) and the tomato wasn’t even mentioned among the ingredients.
The main courses arrived while we were still eating our appetizer so basically we had all these dishes spread out all over the table and made me to rush to finish the Affettati appetizer to not have the pasta and pizza getting to cold.
Anyway besides that the food is good and the waiter was nice and friendly
Usually our first night in NOLA place—pizza and wine. Did not disappoint.
Great meal- excellent food, especially the pizza and roasted cauliflower!
Soft, thin crust pizza - excellent, even without cheese (for those lactose intolerant people). Service was slow and not very friendly. Had a reservation for 9:15, arrived early, wasn’t seated until 9:30, and there were clearly open tables. Three hosts seemingly just standing around. Waitress was not very helpful in navigating the menu for lactose free options and disappeared/would walk right on past while waiting for drinks and to order.
