Dom DeMarco's Pizzeria and Bar Ratings and Reviews
At the emphatic request by my lady's visiting grandson we made a trip to Dom de Marco. Once again we were not disappointed. The service was great, the food outstanding and the atmosphere energetic. From the appetizers to the desserts all 4 of us were pleased and satiated. Our server, Jared, was pleasant, accommodating, but never intrusive. We have never had a bad experience at Dom de Marco's. It is our go to pizza place, in Las Vegas, regardless of the drive and it will continue to be so.
We have been eating at Dom De Marco's for nearly 3 years. Each time we eat there it is a pleasant and memorable experience as it reminds us of the food we had back in New York City. We make it a point to eat there on a regular basis and will continue to do so as it is our favorite go to Italian restaurant.
My lady and I decided to try some pizza places closer to our home. Now we are back where we started and are pleased. Dom De Marco is as good as it ever was. Burrata salad was great as were the pzzas (clam and marghareta). Service was attentive. Desserts were tasty. Our new rule is Dom De Marco for pizza.
We were a party of five to celebrate a birthday. We all enjoyed it and the food was good. The DiFara special pizza could have been a little tastier--the thick crust was kind of tasteless and there was so much it kind of overwhelmed the topping flavor--but that might have just been a matter of taste. Next time I'd get a thin crust pizza. But the real complaint was that the although the food was good, it was not quite as described on the menu. The Brooklyn chicken was supposed to be topped with roasted peppers, but none were in sight. The Gamberoni Toscano salad was described as 'Grilled shrimp served over a kale lettuce, garbanzo beans, tossed in EVOO, garlic, fresh basil, red onion, grape tomatoes, lemon zest, roasted peppers & kalamata olives, finished in a red wine vinaigrette.' There were four medium-size shrimp, and there was a lot of kale, but I detected no garlic or lemon zest, few beans, and hardly any onions or peppers. Everything tasted fine, but from the description I was picturing more than kale, and I didn't get it.
We were zipping back to the Strip after a day at Red Rock Canyon, called up our Open Table app, and happened upon the fabulous Don Marco's. What a lucky day for us! Lovely outdoor patio, lemonade & vodka, and lasagna that you wonder why eat it anywhere else = ideal place! The décor was so cool, too -- using a wall of magazines to separate eating areas was genius.
Please check out my review of Dom DeMarco's from Sept 28, 2014. We've been back many times since then, and the food continues to be outstanding! However, we've noticed the last few times that service has been going a bit down hill. They seem to have too few servers for the number of customers they have, and that leads to long wait times, even for a beverage order. I would still recommend them, but heads-up to management - pay closer attention to the service levels in the restaurant and whether your clients are getting the proper level of attention!!
My lady and I enjoy going to Dom De Marco's so we are frequent visitors there. We had a taste for pizza prior to a concert so off we went. Once again we were not disappointed. The service was friendly, although the kitchen was slightly slow. The food, as always, was fit for a king. My lady chose the Margherita pizza, her favorite and was not disappointed. I chose the Arabiatta pizza, and it had the perfect spicy kick I so enjoy. In addition, the Burrata salad was perfect and the desserts finely captured the evening.
Of course we will return. After all I still need to see if my family's picture, with me in it, is still on the wall.
Food seemed to take an unusually long time to come out of the kitchen, but it was a very crowded night. We misunderstood the pizza sizes according to what the waiter said and ended up with two huge pizzas for two people. The others in the group had ordered their own entrees, so most of the pizza was uneaten. One of the pizzas was so spicy that no one wanted to eat it. Waiter could have warned us on that, too. Needless to say, for 5 people our bill was over $150.
I was excited to dine here because I'd heard such great things from my coworker regarding the pizza. I had the white pizza with truffle oil; I was not impressed. I ordered the thin crust, but it was not thin at all. The server was overwhelmed and not very attentive.
We usually come here every Tuesday for the past 2 month at least. I love the scenery of the patio that we always go to, the food is always great. The service is a hit and miss type situation. The first couple of weeks we came here, we usually had the same waitress name Martha, and she's awesome and nice, always fun to talk to her. Other waiter/waitress after that seems a bit less energetic.
Lately, the past two weeks we went there, we were told different stories that were different than the first few times we went there. Kind of disappointing to say, but most of you will probably come maybe once a month or once every year. So it could be a hit and miss situation.
This was our first time at DeMarco's and calling it a "Pizzeria" is a misnomer. While they may have very good pizza, they really have a full menu of wonderful Italian dishes. We have lived close to DeMarco's for 5 years but never went in. Until we read a review in the Las Vegas newspaper, we thought it was primarily a pizza place. It's really a very nice restaurant with wonderful outside seating, TVs on all the walls inside, and a great menu. Everything we ordered was excellent, as was the service. This would also be a great restaurant to meet a large group for dinner or pizza while taking in a sporting event on one of the many TVs. The prices were also pretty reasonable for the food provided. We'll definitely be back.
Once again a great dinner at Dom DeDemarco. We are regulars at the restaurant. We have chosen this as our favorite place for pizza. Once again it did not disappoint. The food was excellent, the service, although a bit rushed, was still friendly and attentive, and the staff friendly. We will remain as regulars for dinner at Dom's.
It's not the first time we been here, but it was the first time to sit on the upper patio outside. I have to say it was way better than sitting on the lower patio on the big gray table they have in the back. Probably it was stools the last time around, that felt hard after an hour, but this time around, we find the chairs on the upper patio, very comfortable. The scenery was nice and the lighting was perfect at night.
I wasn't really fond with the check in, not saying I hated it, but the fact that I arrived early and checked in. They told me I had to wait 5 minutes till my check in time and the table wasn't ready, when the patio was empty.
Other than that, everything was good after that. Love the place.
I went to Dom DeMarco's for a special occasion. I had specifically requested a table outside, which I didn't get, but that's okay. After ordering, we saw our server twice in the next 45 minutes, once to bring the food and the other time to bring the check. She didn't seem terribly enthused to be there either time.
In addition, we could hear restaurant staff arguing with each other in the kitchen. It was really uncomfortable.
This restaurant has the potential to be one of the best places in town if they can figure the front of the house out.
This is like my 3rd time here and love coming back. We usually come for the Pub Quiz that they hold every Tuesday. The pizza is always great, the place is always nice to see. The staff has been getting better and meeting my standards of an excellent restaurant from my point of view. I like the fact that reserving on Open Table, gives us a good place to seat and usually the same table that we go in Every Tuesday.
Overall, this would be highly recommended to be at for a great pizza place.
I ate here for lunch on Tuesday and ordered the gluten free pizza. The service and ambience were great but I found the pizza was truly mediocre. And for a specialty item costing $18, what a waste of my money!! I'm visiting from the east coast and I've had really delicious gf pizzas, so I'm not just blowing smoke here. The sauce was watery, the crust had the constancy of cardboard, and it was lukewarm to boot. I had high expectations but I guess an inflated price doesn't necessarily mean great food....
I've been going to Dom's since it opened. It's always been a great experience all the way around, but this last visit was the best! It's the first time I've experienced their new, expanded menu. The pizza is as awesome as ever, but the added pastas are unbelievable! We had a white truffle pizza, which was amazing as always, and the three meat lasagna. That lasagna was phenomenal! Kudos to Dom DeMarco's for making a great restaurant even better!
We usually come here for Pub Quiz and tend to enjoy some things here and there. This is our second outing at Dom Demarco Pizzeria and enjoyed eating outside on the patio. The place is nice, and the scenery is enjoyable too. The upside is that, the food was great and the place is a decent size. The downside of it, is that the service is a bit slow. During both our outings here, we've been waiting 10-20 minutes to be served. On the second occasion, we actually had to hunt down our waitress to order. In a way, I can understand that it may be during the busy hours, and staff seems to be short. But, I'll admit that they be prompt on filling up our drinks here and there and seem very nice about everything.
We had a group of 8 people get together for my husband's birthday. DeMarco's called to confirm reservation and had everything set up and waiting for us when we arrived. We sat outside which was delightful! We did not have to wait at all. Food was delicious. I had the broccoli rabe white pizza and the Mediterranean salad. Service was outstanding. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed their meals.
