This may be my new fave place. The ambience at Dolce makes you feel you're on vacation! We were there for a friend's birthday and had such a great time. The server even helped me set up a cupcake tower! Can't wait to go back.
Yes and we will be back! The Staff was amazing and the facility is awesome.
Dolce- means “sweet” in Italian- The experience of dining on the sensual veranda like patio; eating exquisite pastas, seafoods, meats and vegetables crafted into true food art- is a “ sweet” escape!
Love everything! ambiance, food, service, architecture. Only feedback i would give, is the music was very EDM, club-like for a Sunday afternoon. Out of context and inappropriate for the setting. The music was a turn-off to our experience.
Always a great experience and amazing pasta
The service was pretty slow and the waiter didn’t stop by our table very often. We were completely out of water a couple of times. There was a large party so the kitchen might have been backed up. The food was great and loved the ambiance so we will be back.
Birthday was very special thanks to Dolce Riviera
Food and atmosphere is perfect! The service is pretty good. We got forgotten about towards the end but they made it up to us with a free drink. Overall, it was great and we will be back. Get the eggplant appetizer!
Italian gin and tonic was awesome, so was the butternut squash ravioli! Great service, will be back!
Wow! Excellent meal and service.
This review is based off the feedback of the people I set the meeting up for, which was a business dinner. The feedback I got from everyone was that it was very good and especially nice to sit on the patio. The weather was perfect.
Wed. 3/27. Dolce r wasn’t even half full. Service was horrible. Never saw our wait person after she took our order.Waited on entres for an hour. Manager just said oh sorry for the delay and walked away. Patio table was wonderful - if i didn’t love the ambiance i would never go back. Food was bland and very small portions - great place for drinks. Celebrated a bday. Dessert was like soup that was brought to table. I was embarrassed to have taken my LA friends there
Server and host staff great! We were originally seated by outdoor patio where private party was being held. However, staff was very gracious and accommodating when we asked to move. Service was excellent, including gentleman who refilled water/brought out food. Thankful for 1/2 portions of delicious pasta. Thank you!
We were served the incorrect food (mistake by server), the Benedict claimed it was prosciutto but came out like plain ham, not great music - was too loud and sounded like a club.
Ordered gluten free pasta on the side which never came! Ordered a cup of decaf coffee that never showed up! The waiter seemed to avoid our table!!! Great food but lousy service. Not even sure if he charged us for the pasta we ordered... pretty bone headed waiter!
Yes but the service was not good. The server broke a glass with water all over the table and then came back 15 minutes later and actually asked if we wanted the soaking wet table cloth changed.
Amazing food , rich in flavor and recommendations from our waiter were spot on. I would recommend arriving 20-30 min prior to your reserved time in order to take advantage of their cocktail menu while you enjoy their patio/garden scenery; it’s conducive to great conversation or just catch up conversations
We arrived for a 6:30 reservation and enjoyed our table on the enclosed patio. Learned that their antipasto is enough for 3 or 4 to share. Our entrees were outstanding too and we both ended up too satisfied without room left for dessert. Our server and the whole service team kept us in chilled wine with impeccable service and attentiveness.
An excellent experience. We are going back next month! On small caveat....the wine list is a little bit pricey--but we found a good wine at a nice price with help of the General Manager (who is charming!).
We went on a Saturday for a late brunch at 1pm to celebrate my daughter in laws birthday. Party of four. The restaurant was fun and lively when we were seated but not full. Our waiter while attentive we found to be most irritating because he continued to push his favorites most of which fell flat on all of us. He was bringing wine some of which we ordered and some of which we didn’t, none of which was to our taste. The food was in very small portions and not satisfying. My son ordered a Caesar salad after his entree because he was still hungry. The two ladies ordered the bolognese pasta dish which looked more like the size of an appetizer. I ordered the lobster frittata which was nothing special in taste or presentation. As we were finishing our meal the restaurant was beginning to clear but not empty, they turned the lights off. I guess they were preparing for dinner. I’m not sure what time it was but it had to be before 3pm. We hadn’t even received our bill! When the waiter brought the bill, I couldn’t even read it because it was so dark in the restaurant and not in a mood lighting sort of way. I paid the bill and we decided to step into the bar for a cocktail since the four of us were celebrating a birthday. Waiter brings more bad wine which we tasted and sent back. My daughter in law is pregnant and wasn’t drinking alcohol. The waiter on his own brought her a mixed fruit drink which she did enjoy. When we got the bill, they charged us $15 for that mixed fruit juice nonalcoholic drink!! Outrageous!! My wife and I didn’t want her to feel bad so we didn’t mention it and just paid the bill. While we were in the bar there was another fairly large party finishing up and having cocktails. So it wasn’t just our party of four in there spending money. They continued to mess with the lights turning them off and on. They used a leaf blower to clean up outside and we barely talk to each other over the motor’s noise! Horrible value!! NEVER AGAIN!!
Wonderful ambiance and fantastic staff. The manager took excellent care of us on a busy Friday night, after a delay in our main dish.
Wonderful food and service!
The greatest Italian restaurants in DFW hands down! Service is absolutely impeccable, staff is professional and fun. Food is without any doubts the most authentic we have had. Atmosphere is one of a kind. Incredible decor and vibe.
Service was exceptional! Food was amazing.
Love the atmosphere, would be a great place for patio drinks + apps. Flavor of everything was good, however all our pastas (3 pasta dishes) plus the the one risotto dish we ordered were undercooked. Almost so undercooked that they were crunchy, definitely NOT al dente.
No muy buen servicio y nos desalojaron a las 2:00 cuando pretendíamos quedarnos más tiempo
Wonderful spot especially if you are trying to have a romantic evening! The decor adds to a very boutique, European style which is peaceful and slightly elegant. The waitstaff was superb on my visit as being very personable and attentive. My drink was beautiful but not the most functionable for drinking as a ball of ice took up the whole glass. The salmon dish needed a little less salt especially since it had capers in it. The food and experience, nonetheless, was very worthwhile. I look forward to coming back with my friends!
My girlfriend and I went to enjoy their Brunch for the first time on Sunday and had Eddie as our server. He was knowledgeable and took the time to go over the menu options and what was popular. They have an extensive menu. My girlfriend had the Lobster Roll Croissant (comes with fries) which I tasted and was delicious. I had the almond and corn flake crusted French Toast Croccante with fresh strawberries and blueberries, fresh whipped cream, and delicious maple syrup. I also added the Uova Al Tegamuno which is 2 eggs, sausage or bacon (I had sausage) and toast. I ate half and saved the rest for later. The sausage was full of flavor and the eggs seasoned perfectly. Although it was a little chilly that day on the patio, there are lit torches to provide warmth and a retractable roof! Would highly recommend sitting on the patio but the entire restaurant is beautiful!
Just a very consistent experience every time we go. For us regulars, treat you like family. Food and ambience best in Dallas. Bar & patio area amazing! The entire Harwood experience no matter which restaurant always great! You just don’t get that in most places.
I invited a dear friend here for his first experience at Dolce Riviera. I had never been for brunch so I did not know what to expect. We both enjoyed our cocktails and brunch entrees. The Cosmopolitan Bianco was delicious! The Bruschetta al Promodoro, Frittata Di Mare and Frittata Vegetariana were delightful. I'd recommend coming here for brunch. I've enjoyed dinner here a couple times and of course dinner is amazing!
Such a fabulous brunch or dinner spot!! Love it here!!
Favorite Italian Quality Spot in Dallas!!!
Always a delight, service and ambiance superb. They are in process of revamping wine list, I hope they return to their roots and again focus on Italian wines.
We've never been disappointed with the food and just can't pass on the eggplant appetizer, so much we always select and take some home.
Pasta cooked too al dente, overall food was too salty. Good service and ambience, bad food.
Too loud and too expensive for what you received.
My fav place to take clients
Pasta badly over sauced, it was more like tomato noodle soup! Website menu wrong so couldn’t order what we came for. Salad & drink were good.
Wonderful service and exquisite meals. Both Eddy’s gave an exceptional service!
Delicious, great service, loved it
Excellent atmosphere. Wild boar and pasta is to die-for. Great wine. Excellent service, although the bus-service needs to be a bit more cognizant to the decorum at the table. In other words, be careful not to interrupt the conversation at the table. Be there, but not there.
