Dolce Ristorante in Charlotte is a classic Italian restaurant serving up family friendly favorites. The atmosphere at Dolce Ristorante is airy and bright with a deep Mediterranean feel complete with Italian style artwork. The restaurant is open daily for lunch and dinner with special cooking classes offered regularly.
Whether you are looking for a pleasant lunch or a lively dinner, Dolce Ristorante has something on the menu to please every palate. Try the ravioli in a parmigiana cheese pink sauce, the Milanese breaded chicken with lemon dressing or the salmone fresh Atlantic salmon in a white wine sauce. Be sure to save room for the Italian cheese cake dessert.
We had a group of 9, service was friendly and prompt for that size of a group. Food was wonderful - fresh pasta. Accommodated separate checks. I hadn't been in several years, so I need to make this a more regular stop.
Delicious authentic Italian cuisine. Perfection!
This was a great dining experience. Our party of 4 was seated immediately. Our server was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The appetizers were delicious- burrata & mozzarella and the mussels in a white sauce. Main dishes were equally impressive and delicious. We will definitely be back!
We've been here several times, food is excellent and fresh.
had a great meal, food is always so good here, only reason for 4 star ratings, people at table next to us were loud, diners please keep voices down, just like in italy, and our server had to be asked again for my bellini, and one of us requested no mushrooms with his meal, multiple times, and mushrooms were all over the plate, server did not notice
Everything was excellent.
This is one of our favorite restaurants in Charlotte. Truly authentic Italian food and great service. A comfortable classic Italian restaurant ambience.
Nice neighborhood restaurant. Very attentive wait staff.
The food was good and reasonably priced.
Overall a pleasant evening, we will return.
The food was delicious and the service was remarkable. We will visit again!
First time dining at Dolce. Was outstanding! Food was phenomenal! Owner was on the premises they were so awesome. They were involved with their customers and staff. The owners are so sweet. Food, service, staff, owners absolutely awesome. Pasta and sauces are homemade. Drove 40 minutes from home to try this place. Would do it again in a heartbeat to dine at Dolce again. Can’t wait to return. If you haven’t dined here before , I would highly recommend dining here.
Great food amazing service! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice casual date spot looking for some home cooked food!
Only the waiter was too slow. Everything else was fine
Went there with restaurant week and figured maybe be rushed- Not the case. The veal was cooked just right and the Osso Bocco my lady enjoyed (and I tasted) was out of this world .And added plus the owner pronounced my name correctly- maybe because he was also Italian!Planning to go back soon to enjoy the full menu
This is one of those great places we love to go to, and it just happened to be restaurant week. Cindy had the Insalata Tricolore, homemade ravioli stuffed with shrimp and crab. I had the Napoleone and Mahi-Mahi and to end the meal we had the Limoncello Cake. Everything was perfect, but that is no surprise since it always is. We will be going back soon.
Good food and service
Great experience. The food, service, and ambiance were all enjoyable
Dolce Ristorante was FABULOUS!! The food was absolutely delicious. We visited Italy a few years ago and stayed in a VRBO. The owner of the home had a lady that would come and prepare homemade Italian meals if you wanted. They were so wonderful. The food at Dolce reminded us so much of being in Italy and the meals that this lovely woman prepared from scratch for us. All the pasta was prepared fresh. We spoke with the owners wife at Dolce and she told us that every morning she comes in and prepares all the pasta for the restaurant fresh! That is dedication and DELISHOUSNESS!!! You will not be disappointed here if you are looking for authentic Italian dishes! Don't miss this gem.
The owner was very accommodating and amazing. True Italian atmosphere. Perfect date spot.
Amazing wonderful just like Italy - best Italian in Charlotte
Excellent food. Charlotte restaurant week helped us explore new places and this has become our new favorite restaurant
Dolce is a great place! It reminds me of the restaraunts in Italy. Not white table clothes but great food and a great atmosphere.
The food was great! Very good Italian food and menu.
We received a warm welcome, as always. Food is always exceptional, service first rate. Dolce Ristorante continues to be one of my Charlotte favorites.
We love Dolce and have eaten here for years. Since the renovations and the new owner, the food has gotten even better. We always bring out of town guests here.
I went for restaurant week so I can only judge by that. Cocktails were not balanced had to have than add sweet vermouth as Manhattan tasted like straight bourbon with a cherry. Appetizers were both great. Seafood ravioli was thin with almost no stuffing and no seafood on top, ask for steak medium and stressed that I did not want it rare, came to table bleeding on plate. Both deserts were very good. Overall very spotty.
Great food - whole staff was very nice and accommodating. Had a large group and it was a great time!
Most wonderful Italian lady at Dolce, sweet as can be and makes incredible pasta and limoncello cake.
The three course special for Charlotte Restaurant Week was outstanding as always! Our server Joanna, who was our server on several other occasions, was very attentive and friendly even though the restaurant was full! The food came out perfectly paced, and was out of this world!
Dolce is one of the best Italian Osteria’s in Charlotte, it’s always my go to for excellent house made pasta! 10/10 would recommend always! Keep up the great work!
Loved the service and ambiance of this smaller Italian restaurant. It seemed to be family-owned and with a tight group of servers. The food was perfectly prepared and delicious! LOVED the lobster gnochhi and funghi.
We attend after Church every weekend
Service was great food was just OK. The lobster gnocchi had no lobster in it. It had bay scallops and imitation crab.
Some of the best food I've had. Very comforting food. Owners are great, friendly people that take pride
It was our first time to Dolce Ristorante and it is by far our favorite Restaurant Week experience! We will most definately go back!
Great food and service
The Queens feast menu was awesome. The gnocchi and limoncello cake were delicious. All of the appetizer choices that we all had at my table were very good. I definitely will go back.
great food and service. First time there, could have not been better.
The food never disappoints- everything was delicious and the service and attention to detail was superb
We were very impressed with the quality of all the food, but especially the fresh pasta.
The service was wonderful as were our surroundings My only "concern" is being offered fresh pasta, which I ordered but did not realize there was an additional charge. The cost was not a problem but I do think the extra fee should be mentioned.
The bruschetta was amazing! Both pasta dishes we had were done perfectly. Pasta was cooked al dente and the sauces were delicious. We had the Penne with vodka sauce and the rigatoni amatriciana sauce. They were out of one of the wines we requested but easily found another to our liking.
