   This is a wonderful place. The chef and staff were warm and welling. The food and wine were outstanding. The “Armando Experience “ tasting menu was fantastic. We will most definitely be back!

   Sometimes when you least expect it, you come across a gem! This wonderful little restaurant NOT  on Federal Hill had the most outstanding Italian food we’ve had in a long time. Friars, if you’re looking for a place for breakfast, lunch or dinner it’s right at the bottom of the hill.

   Outstanding food. Dan our server was inviting, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and wine selection. Best Valentine’s Day Dinner ever!

   What an amazing restaurant! The owners were so friendly and accommodating. And the food was incredible! Some of the best Ive had, period! Cant wait to go back!!

   We went for the restaurant week special! It was incredible! Armando never disappoints!! His new place is intimate and cozy and just perfect for a nice night out! Highly recommend for amazing food, service and atmosphere!

   The Providence Restaurant Week 4 course special was a great value. The all 8 items that we ordered were delicious, and Dan and Armando were so gracious. We will definitely be back.

    We were super excited to try this new resturaunt haven eaten the chefs food before and we were really let down. The waiter was horrible. He could not handle all of his tables or remember what he told to who. We had to flag him down a few times. We are slow starters. The food was ok, defiantly not to the level of fine dining we expected. The owner said to come back not on resturaunt week. I think I will not be back as the only great thing that happened was when I was personally greeted based on my reservation comments. Would love to hear that my shellfish allergy was “heard”.
