This is our favorite restaurant. The food is always excellent, the service friendly and professional and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. A little noisy for conversation, but about what you would expect from a popular venue

Wonderful experience as always. Excellent food and drinks with top notch service. The lamb cavatelli, duck and dumplings and mussels are some of our favorite items.

Found this restaurant on Open Table and agree with the reviews! If I lived in Charlotte would come here often- great food, service, atmosphere - unique menu- great variety of choices- want to try everything on the menu! Great neighborhood vibe! Great choices of cocktails and wine as well. Highly recommend! And yes - DO NOT miss the cheesecake!

I cannot even do justice to describe how amazing the food is here. I’m a food snob. This place is SPECIAL. Can really taste the quality of the ingredients they use. The creativity behind the menu is immaculate. Duck and dumplings is ridiculously good. The crab and chorizo hush puppies had me literally speechless. The service is wonderful, I will always go here anytime I’m in Charlotte.

Great service and delicious food! We both the pork chops - they were cooked perfectly! We ended dinner with the cheesecake - nice and fluffy with a graham cracker bottom. Highly recommend!

Dogwood is our favorite go to restaurant - always fantastic. Loved the newly updated extensive bourbon selections at the bar. Bartender Eli was very knowledgable and helpful in picking just the right drink. Service was impeccable as always, timing of the meal was ideal between courses. The food is wonderful - we had the fresh oysters, lamb chops and mahi - all were amazing.

Delicious!

This is our second time at Dogwood. And just like the first time, it was amazing. The duck and dumpling small plate alone is worth the visit. We took our three teenagers with us, and the bartender was nice enough to make them Christmas mocktails. The meal was one of the best I have eaten. Everyone was happy with their choices. The staff was great.

Ambiance, good. Service above avg. their oysters (6/plate) WAS very good..mix of butter, garlic, etc. filet, decent size, prepared well, but not really any seasoning to speak of..wild boar..ok...sides VERY skimpy (barely had 2 fingerling under the steak) and the dessert was kid size (cheesecake)..

Maybe my favorite Charlotte restaurant! We’ve eaten here several times and the latest during Covid had the proper table spacing and our meal and service was just spectacular!

We had an amazing anniversary dinner at Dogwood. Our waiter, Drew, was amazing and attentive, and the food was excellent. We got “barkeep’s call” cocktails that were unique and delicious.

My business partner and I celebrated a big achievement at Dogwood and it did not disappoint. The food and service were wonderful, as always! Everything we ordered was delicious. Their tables are spaced at least 6 feet apart,; it appeared to be even more than that.

We had heard the Doghouse Burgers were the best in town. They were overcooked and terrible. The service wasn't great either. We have so enjoyed Dogwood in the past and very disappointed with our meal.
