   Great Pint of Guiness Beef roast dinner was very chewy and fatty. Standard of food didn't match the price tag

   Food was ok but service wasn’t great with it taking over an hour for bread & starters to arrive.

   Late afternoon visit and pub was very quiet - to create atmosphere I guess the background music was too loud. The ale was average to poor quality. Food was quite good but took a while to be served, for saying it was quiet. Menus had good food intolerance information. Overall we were disappointed with the experience.

   I’ve never had a bad meal yet at the Dog and Pickle. The roast dinners are fantastic

   Booked a table of 6 4 adults, 2 , children who were 2 +7 Food was nice but expensive, we spent £222 Drinks expensive, 2 people driving Feel £8.80 a tad expensive for a glass of house wine Our 7 year olds food and drinks totalled £19! Nice for a special occasion but an ordinary meal out far too expensive The staff were lovely, polite and friendly

    Very disappointed after seeing such wonderful reels and social media content for months on end, the one member of staff made a few errors with us and others in the pub we sat for ten minutes waiting for the sugar for our coffee, my roast was over priced for a mixed roast the chicken contained lots of blood spots and my husbands roast was cold. The pudding was also disappointing with only one scoop of ice cream in the £8.95 sundae! The baby changing facility is dangerous when they can reach a hot tap and scold themselves whilst changing and an unsteady table to do it on. The whole pub lacked heating and atmosphere.
