Great menu and service. Just need a few more vegetarian choices on the menu.
We had a wonderful Mother's Day brunch experience!
This was a first time visit to Doc’s after a friend had recommended it. We will definitely return. The food was great: we got two small plates each plus shared a salad and there was plenty to eat. The service was perfect and really enjoyed the guitar player/singer. It was appreciated that they had outdoor seating under umbrellas. Highly recommend.
We walked down the stairs into the coziest restaurant with beautifully lit candles throughout and lovely ambience. It was a perfect place for a date night. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was wonderful. Can’t wait to go back!
Ambiance, service and location most outstanding. Varied menu provides excellent food choices. Would appreciate prime rib again included on menu. Will be returning.
The food was very good with fresh, tasty ingredients and presented very well. We shared several dishes, including an entrée, which was divided on plates for us. The arugula and shaved fennel salad was delicious and dressed perfectly. The stuffed mushrooms were generously filled with crabmeat and a generous portion. The main course split was the meatloaf - the definition of gourmet comfort food.
There is also a creative cocktail menu and a complimentary wine tasting when we sat down.
Another fabulous meal at Docs! Great food, nice atmosphere, and wonderful service.
Another great dinner at Doc's with my wife. My Bourbon Old Fashioned was perfect and delicious. We both had the Duck Breast special which was perfectly cooked, and along with the accompanying sauce, delectable. It was very well seasoned and not too salty (when a dish is too salty, it ruins it for me) - it really could not have been better. We also had a Ceasar Salad to start which was very good. The server was attentive and personable, helping to make this one of our best meals at Doc's.
Everything about this experience was amazing! I will definitely be returning soon!
Great food, lovely evening, looking forward to going back!
Docs is our favorite restaurant in the area. Every meal is outstanding. Upscale and classic.
Excellent!!!! Service was super!
Food was very good.
Black Bass and Veal Porterhouse entrees was prepared well and delicious.
Great spot in Glens Falls for an upscale dinner. After months of not dining out it was such a treat to go to Doc's. It was clean and the tables were well spaced apart. The service was so friendly and professional and the food was delicious, with quality, seasonal items on the menu. Would recommend for a nice dinner out or any special occasion.
Doc’s is always the best restaurant in the area. Everything is excellent.
Great food! One of my favorite places...never disappointed!
I had never been here before. The food , drinks and service were outstanding. This is now my favorite restaurant.
Absolutely love everything about the onion soup. Always an interesting menu with several dishes from which to choose.
We love going to docs. The food the atmosphere the service are all top shelf.
Our entree’s were absolutely fabulous. We ate the butternut squash ravioli and chicken parmigiana. We are delighted to here the wonderful chef is keeping the butternut squash ravioli on the menu after the holidays. We dine here often and are always pleased.
Was in the area and a friend said I have never been to Docs I hear good things. Well she was wrong. Where to start
* reservation was for 7pm. Opted to sit upstairs because of live music from a piano player . Do not know what his schedule was but from 7-8 he played 2 songs took a break then played three more and was done for the night. Would have sat downstairs if we had known that as you could hear people chewing the croutons from their salads
* let’s go to drinks - had what their mixologist called Fire on the mountain. It was his attempt to make a blended scotch a peaty scotch . Way to much applewood smoke made it undrinkable. Got the Caol Ila scotch they had and had the waitress and my friend smell it and the Fire on the Mountain. I was like this is what he was trying to produce.
* ordered the Gnocchi. First off the gnocchi were more like quartered potatoes in size. The sauce was heirloom tomato with beef pork and I believe veal. It tasted strange to me - thought it was too sweet .
* desert - carrot cake was good , I had the creme brûlée which was very soupy
* highlight was the couple getting engaged - they enjoyed the champagne we sent over and our server Christina was fantastic
Fast forward couple of hours later I felt like I was going to be sick but that passed. However Docs vacated my body from about 4pm yesterday till 11pm
Sad to say Docs is a never again.
Food was spectacular! Brussel sprout app, braised short rib, butternut squash ravioli
We had an extraordinary experience!!!
House wine was good, and service was fine..food though was disappointing, at least mine was..chicken was a little tough and all lacking much flavor. Sorry!!
What an amazing experience! The menu makes it hard to choose since everything looks so good. I have the scallops every time I visit and I just can’t say enough about the dish. We always end up sharing dishes and taking some home for lunch. The cocktail list is fabulous! I loved the Curry Old Fashioned! The service is always impeccable! Can’t wait to go back!
Best meal we have had out in months. Halibut was outstanding. The mixologist was gifted!
It was a very enjoyable time. Great food friendly staff!
Overall food quality was great..however made reservation for a special occasion and even the hostess was aware..yet sat us at a makeshift table backed into a corner by the bar and servers station, with multiple open tables we were confused..servers were getting their drinks a foot away and it was very noisy..upon finally being able to move tables our waitress left us hanging for a good 20 minutes..wasn't that pleased to start..she was just okay. Seemed a little rushed but food was good..maybe next time, if so we will try the patio, looked cozy.
Our meal was wonderful as usual. Love the butternut squash ravioli and scallops.
My wife and I have enjoyed dinners at Doc's a number of times, and were there again a few nights ago. I had Halibut with Risotto and think it was the best dinner I've had there. Both the fish and risotto were cooked and seasoned perfectly. My wife also enjoyed her Butternut Squash Ravioli. The server was also very good and attentive. We each ordered a different glass of wine and both were delicious.
We ate in the “tent” due to covid. Nicely put
together, lots of heaters altho a
bit of a breeze where we
sat...hard to complain it was heading down to
the 40s!. Wait staff was attentive if a bit winded from
running up and down the stairs. Food was creative and bountiful. Took home just about some of
everything. Plan to go back as long as
the snow holds off...still not willing to eat indoors. Overall a very nice experience.
Food and drinks were excellent. Definitely would come here again.
Very professional staff.
No undo waiting period

Sat outside under the tent. It was cozy with the heaters and nicely decorated.
Service was excellent and food was perfectly cooked and delicious.
We will definitely return and tell our friends!
Hi Dolores. Thank you for taking the time to review us! We are happy to hear that you were able to enjoy our heated patio and will certainly pass along your compliments to our team! We look forward to serving you again at Doc's.
Doc's did a great job creating a warm, inviting space on the outside patio. We shared a calamari app served with white beans and a hit of heat, cooked to perfection. Brussel sprouts were a bit overdone but flavorful, my chicken with polenta had just the right flavor, polenta was a homerun, I am a grain/vegie lover. Have to plug the very professional service we experienced as well and a very talented soft vocalist, look forward to going back.
