This place sucks and I should have listened to the reviews- they have big “all’s” adding a 20% gratuity when the service was horrible and the oysters smelled like the Dead Sea!!! Definitely not worth $66.00 for a bud on tap, rum runner and 12 nasty fishy tasting oysters!!!
Mothers Day lunch was AMAZING!! Nachos are a MUsT do!! Lobster Cobb salad and Lobster roll did not disappoint.

It was quite honestly the worst experience we’d ever had in a restaurant. We had never been here before and bought a Groupon to try. Being a surf shack, we were excited about the lobster rolls and fun types of sushi on the menu. Before we had even sat down, we were informed there was no lobster at all that day and no sushi either.. So, fine we would find something else.
We asked if there was an open bar and the answer was yes. But they were “out” of wine, had no citron vodka or ginger beer and when we ordered bourbon on the rocks, it was delivered in shot glasses with ice chips that were mostly melted. However the Sangria I ordered after had no ice at all. t was just so strange.
We ordered shrimp cocktail that were served almost warm. Not even a little bit chilled but instead seemed like they had just been cooked. The salmon salad I ordered was good enough but served without dressing and when I asked for it it took maybe 10 minutes to get it, even though there were only two other tables in the whole restaurant. My fiancé ordered fries with his meal and didn’t get them either. He also ordered the lamb lollipops for his dinner and asked for medium rare and they were well done but seasoned really well so that made up for it.
After we got the check, I noticed there was an additional salmon charge added to my salad that was already priced for salmon being on it. That had to be fixed as well.
I worked in restaurants for almost 20 years and am very understanding to what happens in establishments that are working against forces out of their control - this was entirely inexcusable. Horrible experience on just about level and needless to say we would never dream of going back.

I ordered the snow crab legs which were good, the lobster mac & cheese is different from what I normally expect but it was still good and there was a lot of lobster meat. My friend ordered a seafood boil but reported the shrimp did not seem fresh and they were rubbery as if they were frozen before. The bartender was manning most of the tables in the restaurant so it was hard for him to tend to everyone’s needs in a timely fashion but he did his best. I got it The piña colada in a pineapple, I was expecting frozen but it was just on the rocks, could’ve been better but wasn’t the worst. They played good music followed COVID-19 guidelines and overall it was a decent experience. Not sure if I would go back though.
The food was great! We had calamari, lobster rolls, & salmon sushi rolls (cooked). Definitely a great place for brunch! They offer preacher specialist for drinks. Spoke to the Manager as well and he mentioned the outside area will be opening up once it gets warmer. They'll also offer hookah outside. Can't wait!

Let me start by saying we expected so much more. Everything from the food to the service was meh, nothing to write home about. Great idea with the whole beach theme but that's where it ended. We had 4 different appetizers and 4 different drinks, all boring and under-sized. Everything lacked presentation and taste. The lobster roll was probably the smallest portion I was ever served, it looked like it was half a roll. We waited over 35 minutes before we were even served any food. They tried to make up for it buy comping us a couple drinks but really not worth it. I really hope they turn things around.
Hard to believe a tropics themed bar ran out of pineapple juice by 7pm on a Friday when half the drinks on the menu include pineapple juice. Tin can nachos saved the day.
They were very short staffed and it seemed like every single customer was mad. It was a very uncomfortable environment to be in for my Valentine's date night. The bathroom was also flooded and there was only one stall available. The menu is also not very clear, I ordered a boil, following the prices as shown on the menu. We ordered it thinking we had plenty to share but it ended being half the price and only enough for one of us. Luckly we had extra money for dessert. I feel like this place has potential but I will never return.
birthday dinner never acknowledged birthday, restaurant slow,one server,awkwardly quiet. server was kinda nice some how overwhelmed with only being two family’s in restaurant but it was kind of an awkward experience . may not be going back there . sorry
