Lovely evening, just wish it would be clear one time when I’m there
Everything was amazing our actual waiter not so much with the attentiveness but he isn’t the only one who serves thank gosh 😘😘😍😍
I have been trying to get to the Juniper since it opened. I was totally blown away. Everything was great! I went for the Sunday brunch with friends, now I have to take my husband for dinner.
I was not impressed with the brunch menu at all. A lot of the food was overcooked or dry and they offered pasta with red sauce as an option in the buffet which I found super odd. The views are nice, but its hard to enjoy them when the wait staff sits a whole party of 15 loud people right next to you when the rest of tables throughout the restaurant were open. The price was a little high for the quality of food. I think youre just paying for the view. I would not go back for brunch again.
We arrived about 45 minutes early for our reservation and thought we would sit at the bar until our table was ready. We were pleasantly surprised to be seated right away. We had a table by the window and really enjoyed the view of downtown. The food was excellent, overall definitely recommend!
Our server was great! The food was amazing! That was my first time there and I for sure will be back!
I was expecting more of the food quality and presentation. We ordered a cheese / Brio platter and it was poorly presented, same with entrees.
Overall it was a good experience and the food was really delicious. The cocktails were truly terrific. The thing stopping me from giving it a 5 is that we were seated at a very small table for a party of 6 - even though we were the very first reservation seated at 5pm and there were plenty of larger tables open that remained unseated during our whole dinner. So we were crowded and barely had room for our plates and drinks. In addition, our table was the closest one to the service station and farthest from the windows and view. Again - we were there before anyone else, so the crappiest table possible made no sense. Not quite the 50tieth birthday dinner experience I was looking for.
We love Juniper! The food, service and ambience is great!
What a beautiful venue! Cheap furniture but a beautiful setup. The drinks are GREAT! Good value also. Service was unprofessional and too flimsy. It took us two hours to eat and the food looked like it was sitting under a heat lamp. This was supposed to have been the Farm to table special and it tasted like Bob Evans. It was so disappointing to pay $420 for a dinner of 5 because we walked out thinking ‘Did this just really happen?’ It is such a precious venue that I still cannot believe the level of service and the quality food. Please fix it. Please make your food fresh and the service professional.
We happened to go on a night where there was a prix fixe menu, which should be a nice surprise. It's hard however, to justify a farm to table theme where the execution is a $50 fish and chips.
A gorgeous view of the City! Our server was awesome. We had the Farm to Table fixed menu and and the skirt steak was flavorful but pretty chewy. Everything else we had was very good. The prices are really high so not somewhere I'm going frequently. Also, it's a little challenging to find your way to get into the actual restaurant from outside. There's just a small sign on the sidewalk and we ran into a couple of parties on our way out that were looking for the entrance.
Great food, perfect view. Friendly service. Highly recommended!
Music was at an appropriate level. Food was on par for price. Restocking of buffet was swift. Service team was friendly. A+
Great view, we enjoyed the Valentine's menu. The service was great!
Our server Julian was an AMAZING host. Explained everything clearly and was always available if we needed him. Even when my wife and switched our entree, he asked if I needed a different entree if I didn’t like it. Amazing service.
Great view. Very loud. Chairs are a little wobbly.
When will the elevator be fixed?
Excellent view. Food was fantastic. Service was exceptional.
The building and the view are incredible! Ambience awesome. Service was great- everyone was very courteous and attentive.
The food is terrible- under seasoned, tough short rib, rice was crunchy, mashed potatoes oddly runny. Pretty pricey for the quality.
I would def go again but only for drinks.
Scenery is amazing! Such an incredible setting for such an incredible meal. Cant wait to go back in summer so we can fully enjoy the patio.
Awesome Valentine event! The food was amazing...best pork chop I have had in a very long time! The service was excellent. They did have elevator issues...but we received a phone call a day or so ahead of our reservation with instructions on what to do AND to call them if there were any mobility issues we had. They were so busy that night...that had to be a lot of phone calls! Fun time!!
The location of this restaurant is gorgeous. Even in the winter, with the glass closed, I still felt like I was sitting on a rooftop patio. The furniture is basically of the indoor-outdoor type.
I visited on a holiday that had a prix fixe menu, which I didn't anticipate. Thus, the selections were limited. I had a good breaded cauliflower and risotto entree, and my partner had a braised shank (Lamb? Beef? I can't recall). The funniest part was the first course option. I picked consomme, which was literally no heartier than the usual clear consomme with a few diced tomatoes, while my partner got a hearty portion of shrimp and grits. There was no comparison between the two. We laughed that they were presented as equal choices.
Something happened at the end of the meal that left me irritated and clouded the experience a bit. I had received a Visa gift card for my birthday a couple of months back specifically to try this restaurant. When I went to pay, they wouldn't accept it. They said they only accept cards with chips. That has never happened to me before, not anywhere. Hmph.
All in all, it was an okay experience. Maybe I will return for the view, maybe not.
The food was so good and the service is excellent! Great place for a date.
Food was just average, waiter was nice, food choices just average. Hot Pasta dish was cold. Dessert choices minimal and just average. Fresh omelet was the best thing and homemade waffle were pretty good. Probably won't go back feel like there our better options in Columbus for the price.
A live band is awesome, but in the middle of the dining room it was extremely loud. It left our waiter apologizing for literally have to cup his hands around his mouth and yell out his name and ask for drink orders. The table couldn't have a conversation due to the volume. It have been a great option to go into another part of the restaurant after dinner to listen to the band, but way too loud to be part of the main dining area.
First time going to Juniper and we were not disappointed! Loved it! Great service, awesome food and drinks, wonderful service! 10/10-will be back for sure!
Loved juniper and the staff was amazing will be back!
Nice experience , a Tuesday evening not crowded free parking express elevator to the roof with views of Downtown Columbus
We would do it again I can see why it’s so popular for hosting private events

Would come again! Waffles and drinks are a must!
Took friend for her birthday and after learning of her dental work, Server had Chef cut her cauliflower steak in small pieces. Was such a generous thing to do and was a perfect evening, from drinks, to appetizers, meal and dessert..Doorman at elevator is wonderful touch.
First let me say our server was excellent as was the entire staff. We went to celebrate 2 birthdays at the Sunday buffet. As has been reported many, many times previously, the food at the buffet ( except omelets) was generally cold. They need to improve this. We do not have this problem at other restaurants serving buffets. The person making omelets was terrific and made sure the omelet was to your liking. We are a bunch of Seniors. No one told us we would have to walk up 16 steps to get to the restaurant and 16 steps down. Had we known this, arrangements could have been made such as canes, etc. We were told the elevator was not working. However if that was the case it breaks down an awful lot according to people who have been there before. I saw several couples walk away when told that. Any way, great staff, and if food could be better heated and great place to eat with great views even in January.
It is such a beautiful restaurant and I can’t wait for warm weather. It’ll be even better when you can hangout outside. The food was fabulous as was the service. We will return for sure!
A little confusing to enter up to the restaurant. Very pretty view of the city. Extremely loud, almost like the sound bounces. Probably best for group hangouts rather than a date night. Steak was less than mediocre- lacked flavor. Fries were very good. Jerk egg role was great. Duck entree was good. Service was good. Over all, just a 5/6 out of 10.
Great view, but the food tasted like mediocre wedding food and was not worth the cost at all
Zach did a great job as our waiter. We will return to explore the menu. Highly recommend.
Amazing view of the city, even better food. I was impressed as was everyone I was with.
I highly recommend Juniper, the staff and atmosphere were excellent. Food is good, prices are great and the view is breath taking. If you haven’t been you must go.
The food was amazing and the staff was absolutely wonderful!
Food not great
